About the role
The Programme Coordinator will primarily be responsible for supporting Money Heroes, our largest primary programme designed to develop the financial capability of children across England and Wales. Money Heroes provides resources, training and mentoring for primary schools, as well as storybooks, games and other materials to supplement learning about money at school and in the home.
The Programme Coordinator will work closely with the Programme Manager and the Money Heroes team to ensure the smooth running of the programme, including coordinating content development and website updates, supporting the delivery of teacher training events, supporting the marketing and promotion of the programme, and supporting ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The role also works more broadly across the whole of the Programmes and Services team to ensure joined-up cohesive support is offered internally and externally to staff, teachers and other educators.
The post holder will be responsible for providing high-level customer service both internally and externally to a variety of people including teachers and other educators and YE staff. This role will also provide ongoing support to ensure we are effectively communicating the aims and objectives of our programmes to external stakeholders through newsletters, social media and email campaigns.

Summary of the role:
The Community Fundraising Volunteers Coordinator is to drive and enhance fundraising efforts for Muslim Aid by planning, coordinating, and executing innovative fundraising events and campaigns across regional and national levels. This will help us fully understand what the barriers are to progress, and the actions needed to improve health outcomes for sarcoma patients.
This fixed-term and part-time role is ideal for an experienced policy consultant or consultancy firm, or a policy researcher, with experience in running policy, research or public affairs projects, including evidence-gathering exercises, working with stakeholders, and producing report findings.
Project budget: An additional £13,000 will be available to support the project’s evidence-gathering, e.g. to help set up and run meetings or events.
About you:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Project management
- Lead the delivery of the State of the Nation review project, reporting to the Policy and Public Affairs Manager and working with the Policy and Public Affairs Officer.
- Develop and implement an evidence-gathering plan, with clear and achievable timelines.
- Running the evidence-gathering process, including Call for Evidence, and arranging evidence sessions, meetings, or events (e.g., workshop(s) or roundtable) to facilitate evidence-gathering.
Secretariat
- Work with and support the State of the Nation Advisory Group to meet regularly during the review, and to facilitate their role in providing advice and support during the project.
- Schedule meetings, assist members with travel and/or accommodation arrangements as necessary.
- Circulate agendas and papers no less than five working days before meetings (and make every effort to provide any further information requested).
- Listen and act upon members’ feedback and respond promptly to any queries.
- Circulate minutes no more than ten working days after meetings.
- Analysis of written and verbal evidence received by the review.
- Produce written briefing to support evidence-gathering, via evidence sessions, workshop or roundtable meetings.
- Following the conclusion of the evidence-gathering, draft an initial outline report for the Advisory Group to consider.
- Also produce draft and full final reports, drawing on received evidence, detailing draft key findings and recommendations, and taking account of advice from the Nation Advisory Group.
External relationships
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with people personally affected by sarcoma and healthcare professionals working in this field, including those giving evidence to the review, and members of the Advisory Group.
- Represent Sarcoma UK at external Policy and Public Affairs events, or meetings with key stakeholders, e.g., British Sarcoma Group Conference, and meetings of the Sarcoma Advisory Group Chairs, when the role-holder may be required to promote or present about the review.
- Develop relationships with key influencers, including parliamentarians, government officials, the NHS, and other stakeholders, to support delivery of the review project.
Internal relationships
- Work as part of the State of the Nation Project Board, to coordinate decision-making on the delivery of activity under the review, to:
- keep project timelines and outputs on track to meet timelines
- quality assure outputs, and
- manage risks.
- Advise and support on engagement with stakeholders to support the evidence-gathering process, the report production, action plan for stakeholders, and development of new Sarcoma UK policy positions.

- Provide written or in-person updates on the review to the Trustee Board as required.

- Attend Sarcoma UK events which form part of the State of the Nation review.

As you might imagine, working at a hospice charity brings with it some truly compassionate people. It’s a really lovely place to work because the people make it so. As Senior Marketing Communications Officer, you’d be part of a team of three, including your line manager (Senior Digital Marketing & Campaign Manager), and Membership Communications Officer.
And yes – as a hospice charity, we do work with death and dying on a daily basis. But it’s not all doom and gloom. Actually, by talking about it, writing about it and sharing stories about it, we’re helping to remove the stigma and taboo that it often comes with. And those stories and communications help give people hope, strength and confidence, sometimes when they need it most.
As Senior Marketing Communications Officer, you’ll be looking after a lot of our more creative, aesthetic products and projects. You might already be working as a Marketing or Digital Marketing Officer or Coordinator, and looking for the next step for your career. Or you could be an established Marcomms professional searching for a new challenge. Maybe you’ve already been in a marketing management position and want to get back to doing what you love!
Either way, you’ll be pretty knowledgeable on how to look after digital channels like social media and websites, and will have some experience of both. You might have some photoshoot management and video projects under your belt too, and ideally you’ll have experience of managing a digital asset management system. The role will also involve some print project knowledge, so it would be really handy if you’ve looked after relationships with designers, printers and know how the process works (and what gsm our new Impact Report should be, for example!)
We don’t expect you to be a brand specialist, but hopefully you’ll have experience of working with an organisation’s brand book, tone of voice and visual identity guidelines. That’s because many people in other teams here will turn to you for guidance on how to use our new brand, which logo or font to use, and requests to source appropriate photography in our house style.
We’re looking to bolster our content and storytelling about compelling hospice care, and we’d love someone to join us with ideas on how to elevate that, and help source and write those stories up for us. Part of your role as Senior Marketing Communications Officer will be to help produce content – stories, videos, photos, resources – to our two major national campaigns: Hospice Care Week, and Dying Matters Awareness Week. We’re based in London’s King’s Cross, just a five minute walk from the station. But Hospice UK employees are based all over the UK! This is a new role at Wen, with a focus on building Wen's in-house media relations and story gathering capacity while also getting involved in all areas of communications, particularly social media. To help you settle into the role and support your development you will receive mentoring from a PR consultant.
Part of your role will be visiting Wen's projects and events to gather content, impact stories and case studies for use in the media and on our social media channels. It will also include leading on social media day-to-day, including at Wen events, so you will need experience of running multiple social media channels efficiently.

Job summary
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Education Coordinator, passionate about community-based learning to join our small and friendly team. The Education Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery and development of all aspects of the work of the adult and family learning programme and will have the opportunity to develop other provision at the centre. Our adult learning programme supports over 250 local adults each year through a range of programmes designed to improve their English language, digital and maths skills and increase their employability and involvement in the community. Our family learning programme supports over 200 children with online after-school classes in Maths, English and Science. You would also be responsible for coordinating 6 teachers remotely to deliver weekly online after-school classes for Year 3 to Year 9 in all three subjects. We also deliver a range of informal family learning provision across our Family Programme services to over 1000 users, and some of these programmes may be included in our Adult Education offer and so you will be required to support with the administration of these activities.
The Education Coordinator will be based at our centre at 2 Thorpe Close W10 5XL and will have responsibility for working with the heads of departments, tutors and education administrator, to plan and deliver the learning programme. The successful candidate will have a full UK teaching qualification in the Further Education sector, and delivery of FSE/ESOL at various levels would be desirable; have excellent leadership and inter-personal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; be highly organised and efficient.
The salary is £33,500 per annum and in addition to bank holidays we offer 25 days’ annual leave, additional Christmas time leave, a pension scheme, cycle to work scheme and a comprehensive training programme.
The employment is subject to a probational period of twenty-six weeks from your start date of employment with Nova, during which time you will be required to demonstrate to the leadership team’s satisfaction your suitability for the position in which you are employed.

The YWF Youth Voice Coordinator Role

YWF Youth Engagement Strategy Development & Coordination
- Help develop and coordinate YWF's youth engagement and youth voice initiatives including engaging the Young Ambassadors in a YWF engagement program, workshops, internships, trusteeships, panels, peer-research, grant-making, member visits etc.
- Ensure young people are supported to engage in outward-facing opportunities - events, social media, co-production, member visits.
- Work with the youth voice consultant, young people and key stakeholders to help further develop practices that promote youth empowerment, both within the organisation, the membership and the borough.
- Support internal pathways for the Young Ambassadors into YWF Internships and external pathways into supported paid opportunities within the borough e.g. research, youth consultancy etc.
Social Media
- Work closely with the Marketing & Engagement Manager to communicate the voices and work of young people within YWF through various social media platforms - including supporting young people to gather content.
Internship Oversight
- Support and coordinate YWF interns - providing guidance, mentorship and direction to ensure effective program implementation - working to integrate and support interns within different areas of the team.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including young people, members, staff, volunteers and partner organisations to share best practices, support collaboration and drive forward impactful strategies.
Project Management
- Ensure clear documentation, processes, and policies are in place to support the efficiency and effectiveness of YWF youth engagement initiatives, including supporting the Youth Voice Consultant to develop role descriptions, session plans, and risk assessments and safeguarding.
Grant Making
- Support the Grants Manager in delivering a youth-led grants programme, led by a group of young grant makers
Measuring Impact
- Work with key members of the team, young people and stakeholders to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of YWF’s youth voice initiatives.
- Work with the team to quality - assure YWF’s programmes to ensure programmes meet the needs of young people
