Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. It affects 166,000 people in the UK and currently there is no cure. 

We’re recruiting for a Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our team. We proudly raise money to help improve life for people with Parkinson’s and the people in their lives. Our work helps to fund everything from promising research, to providing personalised support for everyone with Parkinson’s, to campaigns fighting for better support for people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones.

About the role 

You’ll be working on IG digital fundraising campaigns and improvement projects, leading this strategic area of fundraising, to engage and inspire people to donate. And you’ll make it as easy as possible for supporters to choose the way they want to give. You’ll be part of a team that champions and supports each other, and is innovative in a changing fundraising and external environment to achieve our annual income target of over £5 million. 

As a team, we use analysis and insight to deliver a variety of direct marketing activities that recruit new donors and ensure everyone can see the impact of their kind contribution. 

In this role, you will manage digital fundraising operations projects to optimise and improve digital fundraising content and journeys. When opportunities arise, you will lead on digital fundraising campaigns to acquire and retain new supporters and provide the best possible online experience. 

What you’ll do:

• Support the Individual Giving Manager (IGM) to help set strategic objectives, monitor income and expenditure using data analysis to inform and improve the individual giving programme

• Plan, create and manage digital IG fundraising campaigns and lead the digital fundraising strategic area within IG to maximise income

• Work with the Individual Giving Officers (IGO), delegating work as appropriate and championing their personal development. There may be an opportunity to line manage an Individual Giving Officer in the future

• Use digital tools such as email marketing platforms, digital acquisition platforms, website analytic tools and google sheets to manage insight-led journeys, communications, and to analyse basic performance data to inform and improve decisions from acquisition to conversion

• Integrate the IG digital fundraising programme into Fundraising & Experience Directorate activities and support the overall Parkinson’s UK strategic plan

What you’ll bring:

• Strong experience of managing IG digital fundraising activity with substantial income and expenditure budgets

• Proven success in donor or customer acquisition and retention through digital marketing

• Substantial experience of creating engaging and inspiring online materials in support of direct marketing campaigns

• Strong experience of using CMS and email platforms, ideally Marketing Cloud

• Experience working with PPC, digital ads and social media to acquire donors

What will I be doing? 

• Supporting and leading the Data, Insight & Performance teams to leverage industry best practices in data and technology for insights, analytics, and reporting across the Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement (MFE) directorate. 

• Supporting the Data, Insight & Performance teams in transitioning from legacy systems onto a robust, scalable, and future-fit tech stack. 

• Collaborating closely with the Head of Data Strategy and Delivery, Consumer Insight & Experience, and Audience Strategy & Innovation teams to: 

• Create an agnostic, integrated view of performance centred on the supporter/consumer. 

• Validate opportunities for growth, development, and improvement. 

• Proving leadership and expert guidance on data modelling initiatives while championing and validating demand across MFE.

What skills will I need? 

• Senior leadership experience at Head level or above, with a background leading data analysis and modelling functions in large, complex B2C marketing-led organisations with a digital-first approach. 

• Background in technical coding language and data visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Snowflake, PowerBI, Databricks, GA) and experience implementing best practices, guidance, and standards. 

• Experience using statistical analysis to understand and drive value from consumer behaviour (including setting up supervised & unsupervised learning models, data cleaning, data analytics, feature creation, model selection, performance metrics, and visualisations). 

• Solid grounding in the principles and application of MLOps (e.g., Snowpark, MLFlow, Github) with experience in productionising and managing models. 

• A successful track record of leading and developing high performing data insight teams (including managing, coaching, recruiting, and developing talent). 

• Strong skills in managing, influencing, and communicating with stakeholders at all levels (including senior leadership). This includes: 

• Demonstrated credibility in partnering and collaborating cross-functionally, to implement data strategy in large, complex, matrixed organisations.

We are seeking an experienced communications lead to join our external engagement team and play a key role in shaping Martingale’s external profile and scholar recruitment.

As Communications Manager, you will lead on several critical aspects of Martingale’s work including all external communications from social media to PR, and brand management. Crucially, you will lead on the annual recruitment campaign for Martingale’s Postgraduate Scholarships. This three-month campaign each autumn is a fundamental part of Martingales work, ensuring we are finding and supporting as many talented people to apply as possible. Working closely with the Head of Communications and External Engagement, you will lead on all Martingale’s external communications.

A key responsibility will be ensuring that Martingale’s messaging is consistent, with a bold brand presence and strong collaboration with various external stakeholders including funders, universities, media, and government. You will also line manage the Events and Communications Officer who leads on all Martingale events and social media.

Working with the Head of Communications and External Engagement, you will lead on the design and implementation of end-to-end marketing for the recruitment campaign for Martingale Scholars:

• Ensure widespread marketing of the Martingale Scholarship opportunity across the UK, including in media (e.g., student newspapers), on university campuses and on graduate job boards.
• Coordinate an effective paid advertising campaign across multiple channels.
• Directly engage prospective scholars to increase interest and convince them to apply for Martingale opportunities. For example, leading email campaigns, visiting university campuses, or hosting webinars.
• Build relationships with university academics, careers departments, student societies, graduate careers platforms, and other organisations who work with Martingale’s target audience. Encourage them to share Martingale opportunities to relevant people.
• Develop marketing materials and coordinate circulation: leaflets, brochures, social media content, video, email and newsletters, case studies and interviews with relevant people incl. current scholars.
• Procure and coordinate any relevant external providers: e.g., paid digital advertising agencies.
• Manage the Applicant Tracking System, embed and manage a CRM system for enrolled scholars.

Manage brand and increase brand awareness:

• Manage and develop Martingale Foundation’s brand identity, and the identity of our programmes: visual identity, communication style, digital presence, in-person style and feel of events.
• Design and manage a creative and innovative social media campaign across multiple channels, incl. paid ads.
• Manage the website, including maintenance, development, and SEO – with agency support.
• Lead engagement with media outlets and relevant press, including student newspapers. Write engaging press releases and generate interest in Martingale.

Stakeholder management and communications:

• Manage relationships with partner universities Marketing and External Relations teams, ensuring they are consulted and pleased with progress, while also delivering on their commitments.
• Develop collaborative relationships with charity partners or organisations with similar missions to Martingale, as well as potential employers of Martingale Scholars, and ensure they are aware of Martingale’s mission and progress whilst supporting recruitment and brand building efforts.

Organisation and team:

• Line manage the Events and Communications Officer, ensuring they are supported, clear on responsibilities and how they fit into the wider strategy of Martingale.

Monitor and report on the progress of the Martingale Foundation:

• Lead the production of impact reports.

The Role

Future Advocacy is seeking a Digital Campaigns Consultant. This is a great opportunity to do impactful work within a small, dynamic organisation that places a strong focus on team and personal development.The successful candidate will be a natural digital campaigner and eager to contribute to our work with our brilliant clients. They will quickly develop a range of skills, including digital strategy, content development, communications and stakeholder management of agencies. They will work closely with our Digital Campaigns Director; the Country Directors, CEO, Managing Director, and other senior leaders as part of our small and energetic team.

Requirements

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Action for Stammering Children for a Deputy CEO who is interested in combining their fundraising expertise with a dynamic leadership role. From our work to reintroduce beavers to London for the first time in 400 years, to restoring river catchments with water voles, we focus on interventions that create real ecological change on the ground. The need

To grow Citizen Zoo sustainably, we need to grow our secure unrestricted income. Our monthly, direct debit membership currently brings in around £10k per year, and we’re aiming to grow this towards £60K per year within the first 12 months (or 1,000 equivalent members), through improved digital acquisition, better retention, and a strong on-the-ground recruitment presence across London.

The Team & The Role

We’re a not-for-profit social enterprise with a team who mostly work from home in London. You’ll work as part of this remote team from home, our shared desk spaces in central London, and out on the ground at events, partner venues and project sites across the city and beyond. You’ll work closely with delivery and communications colleagues to turn audiences (visitors, volunteers, event attendees, online supporters) into loyal members, and ensure members receive a positive, joined-up experience that retains them long term.

What you’ll do

You will own and deliver a data-led membership growth plan that increases acquisition, improves retention, and grows member value (including upgrades from £3 → £5/month over time). You’ll sharpen Citizen Zoo’s membership proposition so it clearly connects supporters to our impact, and you’ll turn that into campaigns and activity that consistently convert interest into monthly direct debits.

Digitally, you’ll create and optimise the online join journey (landing pages, forms and messaging) and run recruitment activity across email and social. You’ll work with agency partners to plan and launch Meta and/or Google campaigns, shape and iterate creative, manage a monthly marketing budget, and improve cost-per-join and conversion rates through ongoing performance monitoring.

For retention, you’ll build joined-up supporter journeys from welcome/onboarding through impact updates, renewal/retention thorough engagement and exclusive membership offerings, upgrade prompts and lapsed reactivation. You’ll use segmentation and insight to keep communications relevant, strengthen the member experience, and reduce churn.

On the ground, you’ll lead in-person recruitment across Greater London at events, fairs, community days and partner sites, setting up an effective stand, engaging the public, and signing people up to direct debit. You’ll keep improving the recruitment “kit” (scripts, FAQs, signage, QR codes and follow-up journeys) and coordinate volunteer/colleague support when needed.

Working Hours
