About the role:

Porchlight is dedicated to supporting people facing homelessness, poor mental health, and poverty. Our donors are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for a strategic and visionary Supporter Development Manager to lead our individual giving and legacy programmes at a pivotal moment for the charity.

While you will be based at our Canterbury office (with a required attendance of every Tuesday to collaborate with the team), you will also benefit from our hybrid working policy.

You will lead on understanding our audiences and developing compelling donor journeys that build long-term, sustainable relationships. You will provide essential leadership, overseeing the individual giving budget and KPIs while line-managing the Senior Individual Giving Officer and Data Co-ordinator to ensure the highest standards of donor care. You will also play a vital role in planning and delivering bold, multi-channel campaigns that generate essential income, grow our donor base and bring our cause to life.

Working closely with the wider Fundraising and Communications teams, you will act as a spokesperson for our mission, turning data-driven insights into impactful action. Whether you are designing a new fundraising product, overseeing campaign performance reports, or ensuring our database management meets the highest regulatory standards, your work will directly empower our supporters to help us change lives.

The role requires:

• Managerial and Fundraising Expertise: You have a minimum of three years’ experience in a project management or direct line-management role, with a proven track record of meeting financial targets and KPIs.
• Administrative and Analytical Excellence: You are confident using digital tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems like Raiser’s Edge to manage complex data, track campaign activity, and ensure compliance with GDPR and Gift Aid regulations.
• Strategically-Minded and Creative: You have a strong understanding of donor journeys, digital marketing channels, and how to create products and messages that inspire long-term loyalty.
• Organised and Adaptable: You excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously and are willing to work flexibly, including occasional unsocial hours, to support fundraising initiatives and events.
• Impact Reporting: Using the Raiser’s Edge database to track progress against KPIs, manage donor data hygiene, and ensure every supporter is thanked personally.

Dog Aid Scotland

Dog Aid Scotland is celebrating its 70th anniversary of creating and protecting loving homes across Scotland. The charity helps keep dogs with their owners whenever possible and when that’s not possible, we find dogs new homes, giving them hope for a future.

Role Description

The Head of Income and Engagement is responsible for diversifying and growing Dog Aid Scotland’s fundraising income streams as well as overseeing the charities strategic communications and marketing activity. Reporting directly to the CEO, the postholder will develop and deliver a comprehensive Income and Engagement Strategy that ensures sustainable income growth, deepens supporter engagement and increases awareness of this long-standing charity. As well as working at a high level, this will be a hands on, operational role which is expected to work directly with donors and lead on fundraising activity.

• Lead the development and implementation of Income and Engagement Strategies aimed to grow income sustainably and significantly increase awareness of the charity
• Grow income from individual giving, regular giving, fundraising events and legacy giving, whilst looking to develop further income streams such as major donors, trusts and foundations in future.
• Develop strong donor journey that's engaging, from recruitment and stewardship to longer term donor retention.

We're looking for a Community Fundraising Officer, based at our rehoming centre in West Calder, to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups and deliver excellent customer care for all Dogs Trust supporters, but particularly potential and existing legacy pledgers.

What does this role do?
As Community Fundraising Officer, you’ll:

• link the rehoming centre with supporters in the local community, developing relationships with local individuals, businesses, community groups and clubs, 
• feed into various income streams through these relationships, identifying prospects in the community and develop a pipeline of future donors and legacy donations,

To be successful in this role, you’ll need some community fundraising experience, with the ability to build connections and connect with the local community. To do this, you’ll need excellent communication skills and be able to confidently approach and interact with supporters. While you’ll be a key part of the rehoming centre team, you’ll be regularly be working independently, so strong organisational skills and a proactive approach is essential.

This role is based at the rehoming centre, and the post holder will spend lots of time in the community meeting supporters. The working pattern is typically Monday to Friday, but flexibility is required and is likely to involve some evening and weekend work, depending on the nature of the work.

Hope into Action is an inspiring story.  It starts with a couple, Ed and Rach Walker, who decide to use £30,000 of their own money to buy a house for people who were homeless in Peterborough in 2010.  And from this seed, an organisation has grown which 16 years later has 134 houses and has seen over £34 million invested in homes for people who were homeless.

Hope into Action is a story of how faith in God has been put into action and led to resources being shared, new relationships being formed and people’s lives being transformed.

Last year we housed over 500 people who had been homeless. Each of those individuals has a story to share of how Hope into Action has helped them. This is the story we want to share.

The Communications & Engagement Lead is responsible for implementing Hope into Action’s communications and engagement strategy. Working closely with the CEO, they will be responsible for telling the Hope into Action story and driving increased engagement with our vision for every church in the UK to be engaged in ending homelessness.

At least 50% of the role is harvesting stories from around our Network to create engaging content which expresses our vision and mission. We want someone who can be both responsive and strategic. Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Stewardship Officer (Mid-value) to join our Individual Giving and Legacies team based in London.

About us

Centrepoint helps vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. We provide homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills to get them back into education, training and employment. Along with our partners, we support more than 16,000 young people across the UK every year. Together, we’re determined to end youth homelessness by 2037.

The Stewardship Officer (Mid-value) role sits within Centrepoint’s Stewardship Team in Individual Giving and Legacies (IGL). The IGL unit has grown significantly in recent years and is forecast to raise £24.7m in FY 2026/27. This role is core to the delivery of the IG Stewardship programme, supporting growth across Mid‑value Cash and Regular Giving audiences.

Working closely with the Senior Stewardship Officer (Mid-value), you will deliver a fundraising communications plan for mid-value donors, who give an annualised value of £1,000-£5,000 - including targeted appeals, inspiring updates and impact reports, as well as supporter events and online webinars. You will support efforts to drive forward stewardship journeys to deepen engagement, build long-term relationships and increase lifetime value.

Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering supporter‑centric, integrated campaigns for Mid‑value donors (£1,000–£5,000 annual value), including fundraising appeals, donor journeys, impact reports, events and online webinars

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage a variety of projects and activities to tight deadlines

The Senior Fundraising Manager is responsible for delivering Brightside’s fundraising activity with a core focus on grants from trusts and foundations, and major donors. Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, the postholder will forge new relationships with major donors and manage our grant applications to support Brightside to achieve its fundraising targets. Summary of the Role
The Director of Development (DoD) provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all fundraising income and supporter engagement activity at DSWF. The role is accountable for delivering sustainable, diversified revenue growth aligned with DSWF’s mission across conservation, education and art, while building lasting relationships with major donors, trusts, foundations, corporate partners and senior supporters.

Working in close partnership with the CEO, COO, CFO, and Board of Trustees, the DoD translates organisational strategy into compelling Cases for Support, effective fundraising plans and measurable outcomes. The postholder leads and develops a high-performing Development team, ensuring strong delivery and continuous improvement.

As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), the Director shares responsibility for shaping the Foundation’s overall direction, contributing to governance, organisational culture and high-level strategic decision-making.

This is a pivotal position combining senior management with hands-on major gift fundraising and team leadership. Central to enabling the Foundation’s long-term impact and growth, the DoD is a driving force behind DSWF’s ability to successfully deliver its mission to protect endangered species in Africa and Asia.

Key responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
•Lead on the development, implementation, delivery and continuous refinement of DSWF’s multi-year Development strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and long-term financial sustainability.
•Advise the CEO and Trustees on fundraising performance, trends, risks and opportunities.
•Own and articulate the organisational Case/s for Support, ensuring a clear, compelling narrative that integrates conservation impact, education outcomes and artistic heritage.
•Working closely with the rest of the SMT, embed a culture of philanthropy across the organisation, enabling all team members, Trustees and ambassadors to actively support income generation.
•As part of SMT, be jointly responsible for over-arching decisions regarding the direction of the Foundation, its mission, strategies and culture.

Major & Strategic Fundraising
•Working closely with the CEO, cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of DSWF’s most significant donors and prospects, including major individual donors, trusts and foundations, legacy campaigns and strategic partners.
•Responsible, alongside the CEO, for the overall management of all corporate partnerships and sponsors.
•Design and lead bespoke solicitation strategies for new high-value prospects, involving the CEO, Trustees and senior colleagues as appropriate.
•Oversee the development of structured approaches to major giving, trusts & foundations, legacy giving and corporate partnerships.
•Have strategic oversight of lower-level individual giving programmes including appeals, regular individual giving and adoption schemes.

Team Leadership & Management
•Lead, manage and develop the Development team, setting clear objectives, KPIs and income targets aligned to the overall strategy.
•Ensure the structure, resourcing and capabilities of the team are fit for purpose and scalable as income grows.
•Coach and support all those within the organisation that are responsible for fundraising, providing professional leadership, mentoring and performance management.
•Lead on all training and offer career progression for all staff within the Development team.

Supporter Engagement
•Represent DSWF externally with senior donors, partners and sector peers, enhancing the organisation’s profile and credibility.
•Oversee a high-quality supporter journey across all touchpoints, ensuring donors feel valued, informed and connected to impact including lower-level individual giving.
•Champion systematic all level stewardship, donor care and impact reporting to maximise retention, lifetime value and advocacy.
•Ensure accurate, GDPR-compliant data capture and effective use of CRM systems (Beacon) to drive insight-led fundraising.

Events
•This senior role will have overall responsibility for any fundraising or donor profile events (at present this would include the Wildlife Ball which is an annual fundraising/profile raising event that takes place at the Dorchester Hotel).
•Working closely with the rest of SMT, this role will direct the Development team to ensure that all events deliver optimum, high level donor experiences and are run professionally (with logistics and operational support from the COO and team).
•This role will have overall responsibility for ensuring the CEO has all information required to support engagement with donors at all events.

Governance & Reporting
•Report on Development performance to the CEO, SMT and Trustees, providing clear analysis against agreed targets.
•Work closely with Finance to support forecasting, budgeting and long-term income planning.
•Work closely with Finance and legal advisors in relation to all legal matters pertaining to legacies and bequests.
•Ensure all Development activity aligns with regulatory, governance and ethical standards.

Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
•Significant senior leadership experience in fundraising and development within complex, mission-driven non-profit organisations, at Director level or equivalent, where philanthropy is critical to organisational impact and growth.
•Significant experience in leading and delivering long-term development strategies, with a demonstrable track record of translating organisational ambition into clear, costed and achievable fundraising plans.
•Proven ability to set strategic direction across multiple income streams, establish measurable objectives and KPIs and use data and insight to monitor performance, evaluate impact and adapt approach over time.
•Experience of driving sustained income growth, strengthening donor pipelines, and delivering measurable outcomes aligned to organisational priorities and long-term sustainability.
•Deep understanding of the UK philanthropic landscape, with well-established networks across major donors, trusts and foundations, corporates and high-net-worth individuals and the ability to build credibility and influence rapidly at national and international levels.
•Demonstrable experience of leading and scaling fundraising income through periods of organisational change, growth or strategic transformation.

We are looking for a Senior Individual Giving Officer to deliver innovative, insight-led fundraising campaigns that grow supporter engagement and maximise income. Working as part of a supportive, ambitious and collaborative team, you’ll gain experience across the full Individual Giving programme while helping bring the joy and benefits of reading to children across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and data-driven fundraiser who enjoys managing campaigns end-to-end and is passionate about delivering an excellent supporter experience. Fundraising at BookTrust

As a charity, fundraising is central to BookTrust’s mission, enabling us to bring our work to life and reach more children through a diverse portfolio of income generation, including mixed models of trading and philanthropy.

The Individual Giving function within the Fundraising team, where this role sits, has been tasked with growing income to £2 million by 2030. We will do this by improving our supporter experience and engagement, employing a test-and-learn strategy across a range of campaigns and being data-led in everything that we do. 

Job Purpose

The Senior Individual Giving Officer plays a central role delivering the campaigns and plans that will achieve the Individual Giving programme income targets. The post holder, working closely with colleagues across BookTrust, will manage existing and test new Individual Giving campaigns and develop and test new fundraising products in order to generate income from new and existing supporters.

Key Responsibilities: 

Programmes and projects

• Manage acquisition and retention campaigns including testing new audiences and channels.
• Deliver effective supporter journeys to ensure the highest possible standards of donor experience. 
• End-to-end campaign management across the fundraising mix including legacies, mid value and in memory. 
• Support the testing and development of new community and events fundraising opportunities. 
• Work closely with and support the Individual Giving Lead to ensure all activity is delivered on time and to budget, contributing to annual income targets. 

 
Relationships

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across marketing, digital, comms and across the organisation. Work closely with Supporter Services and CRM colleagues to ensure best experience for our supporters
• Work effectively with external suppliers and agencies, maintaining strong working relationships. 

Budgeting, analysis and reporting

• Monitor and control income and expenditure against targets outlined in annual plans.
• Feed into quarterly forecasting and annual budget setting processes.
• Closely monitor campaign results, provide updates on performance and produce post-campaign analysis reports.
• Make recommendations to improve the performance of future campaigns based on evidence and data.
• Contribute to CRM development and update existing reporting mechanisms.

The role

The Individual Giving team is responsible for driving growth and income sustainability across Individual Giving (one-off donations, Regular Giving, Lottery) In Memory Giving, Legacy Giving and Major Giving. This is an exciting role and it will suit somebody who enjoys working across our different fundraising products, with particular focus on one-off donations, Regular Giving and In Memory Giving. The role will focus on the acquisition and stewardship of donors, maintaining a fantastic donor journey for longer term engagement. The role holder will need to own and manage their workstreams, drawing on the expertise of other in-house teams from Marketing to Finance. The need for accuracy in data and administrative work requires the role holder to have a keen eye for detail and a respect for processes and regulations.

Working Relationships
