We are looking for a fundraiser specialising in digital retail to support children and adult social care services.

Accountable to the Senior Fundraiser and Head of Fundraising to drive fundraising activities and support children and adult social care services, you will contribute to the growth of the organisation by delivering the aims set out in the Together Trust’s strategic plan, fundraising strategy and budgeting process including monitoring income and expenditure for key events and activities. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage online retail platforms like Vinted, Depop, eBay, and Shopify, organise pop-up shops, and grow merchandise sales.
• Be an ambassador for our cause, manage volunteers and work experience students ensuring a mutually beneficial volunteering experience with our online shops. 
• Manage personal target related to certain key performance indicators.
• Monitor and report on progress against financial targets and KPIs to an agreed timescale.

• Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and targets, set and work to budgets and to use own initiative.

The Fostering Recruitment Officer will drive recruitment of Foster Carers across the area, innovating engagement and participation alongside the Fostering Recruitment Manager, in collaboration with the whole team.

Overall Duties of the Fostering Recruitment Officer will include:

• Working collaboratively across relevant teams to progress enquiry management
• Support community recruitment activity to create a consistent pipeline of carer applicants
• Facilitating a smooth application and assessment process for potential carers
• Undertaking essential administrative tasks relating to record keeping, creation of data for analysis, evidence for measuring objectives
• Creatively contribute to innovation and improvement of strategies and local activities
• Maintaining an understanding of regulations and requirements for provision of foster care services

The Fostering Recruitment Officer will be will be based within reasonable travelling distance of Merseyside, Cheshire West and Greater Manchester and will be required to visits potential new foster carers, attend face-to-face team meetings at least once a month and on other occasions for training and team wellbeing events.

An Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role and will be processed by TACT on your behalf.

The Governance and Risk Officer (GRO) will provide support to the Head of Governance & Risk by providing administrative and organisational support in all areas of governance and risk by implementing and maintaining risk assurance activities, including the corporate risk registers, policy management, contract review and internal audit delivery.

The GRO will aid in the creation of an assurance function to manage governance, risk and adherence to policies and procedures, and will also support with the administration of the charity’s committees, both at executive and trustee level.

• Involved in ensuring the charity is keeping to the highest standards of corporate governance, and identifying, implementing and tracking changes to procedures to help drive improvements.
• Working with colleagues across all levels and areas of the organisation to promote awareness of good governance and assurance practices.
• Providing administrative support to the Head of Governance & Risk and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders both internal and external.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining various risk assurance logs and registers and engaging with key stakeholders to drive improvements against those logs.
• Undertaking various administrative tasks and assisting the Head of Governance & Risk to maintain a robust forward plan for the risk and assurance function and various trustee sub-committees.

We are looking for.

• You’ll demonstrate strong administration skills, self-motivated and exceptional attention to detail.

• You’ll have outstanding communication (clear and concise in both written and spoken communication) and interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues at all levels.
• You’re enthusiastic about personal learning and growth – willing to undertake training and an ability to learn quickly.
• You’ll demonstrate excellent administration, planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• You’ll be computer literate and competent in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• You’ll have ability to review, analyse and interpret data and act upon the findings.

About the charity

Living in the North West, we're 25% more likely to be diagnosed with cancer than elsewhere in the UK and many cancers are much more common across the region. The region also suffers from extreme social-deprivation and health inequalities which, when combined, lead to a lower-than-average life-expectancy and poorer quality of life for our communities.

Community fundraising is an important vehicle to challenge this - by raising money and awareness.

This role will cover North Manchester up to Lancashire - you'll be homebased with travel across the patch to meet supporters.

What will I be fundraising for?

Recent fundable projects include a groundbreaking annual Regional Report on cancer and the innovative Lab-Coat Learning education programme for the region's schools.

You'll act as the face of the charity out in the community, spreading the word about how fundraising can drive positive change. You'll develop relationships with volunteer fundraisers, community groups and local businesses, encouraging and motivating them to fundraise.

You'll deliver interactive presentations, activities and outreach sessions at schools and volunteer groups, offering support, advice and guidance on how people can supercharge their fundraising.

About you

You join a passionate and well-established fundraising team, who genuinely care about and support one another.
