We are looking for an individual with a passion for international education and cultural exchange to join the Fulbright Awards team.
You will support with all aspects of the selection process, including coordinating the receipt of applications, reading and evaluating applications, organising peer review reading panels and interview panels and preparing interview materials. You will be first point of contact for all UK awards enquiries.
You will be involved with organising the logistics and execution of key Fulbright Programme events for UK grant recipients throughout the year, liaising with external organisations to arrange venue space, catering and accommodation and travel to Fulbright events.
You will have a strong interest and/or personal experience in international education or cultural exchange and a willingness to learn. Join our team as Director of Education, helping us to support teachers, champion great teaching and raise the status of the profession. The Director of Education will advocate for the need for a strong professional body and its importance to teachers and leaders. The role will articulate the vision and ethos of the Chartered College of Teaching and inspire and empower internal and external stakeholders and the teaching profession to achieve the vision. The role will lead the growth of three core income streams: Chartered Status, membership and funded projects, and will represent the Chartered College of Teaching externally and grow our strategic networks. The role will advise on the education content of our external communications. The Director of Education will work with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and oversee implementation of the organisation’s strategy and to lead the Education Directorate to deliver the strategy. The Opportunity

You will have overall accountability for the Education and Research directorate, including accreditation, partnerships, research, events and policy, funded projects, publishing and content and marketing and communication. Organisational Planning & Strategy

- Lead the implementation of the strategy, ensuring that KPIs are met / action is taken to course correct, and provide day-to-day guidance and long-term strategic direction for all employees within the College
- Oversee the College’s existing and new products and services, ensuring that they are of the highest standard, and are informed by research and impact evaluation
Leadership
- Advise on the education content of external communications
- Provide overall accountability and leadership in a range of areas including membership, publishing, content, research, Chartered status and other professional learning and accreditation

Working within the Visitor Services team, you will play key role in developing our education and events programme. Based at Deen City Farm, working within a beautiful setting, the role will be working to expand opportunities for children and adults within the local community. BACKGROUND
Deen City Farm is a successful community resource comprising a city farm, riding school and garden project based in the London Borough of Merton. Our mission is to be an oasis providing urban communities with the opportunity to connect with animals and nature. Our founding charitable objectives include promoting education in agriculture, horticulture, home-crafts, country life and animal care and providing facilities for members of our local communities, in particular those considered the most vulnerable.
JOB PURPOSE
To work within the Visitor Services team to support the running and development of the education and events programme at Deen City Farm.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Full time 40 hours per week, permanent, usually Monday to Friday. Some evening, weekend and bank holiday work will be required.
- Develop and maintain professional links with schools, colleges and community groups.
- Develop an educational programme in line with the current curriculum. Creating an offering which covers appropriate themes in line with our charitable objectives.
- Ensure appropriate Safeguarding procedures are in place and followed.
- Lead on informal education opportunities including creating educational family trails and running school holiday activities.
- Coordinate school and community group visits onsite, ensuring that they are adequately staffed.
- Coordinate and run farm tours for school and community groups.
- Update and maintain the information panels around the farm, creating engaging and educational content.
- To work with the Farm’s management team in order to engage the local community with a diverse mix of events and activities, promoting year-round attendance to the farm.
- To provide educational advice and support to colleagues as and when required.
- Work with senior staff members to identify new sources of funding including grants, individual and corporate donors.
- Help plan and coordinate site-wide events in conjunction with the Visitor Services Manager, ensuring that our activity programme is engaging and educational.

- To ensure that the classroom and areas used for educational purposes areas are kept tidy, with equipment and materials safely stored and regular safety checks carried out.

RNCSF (“SpringBoard”)’s vision is to provide access to a great education for young people facing some of the most complex and challenging circumstances. By harnessing the power of fully funded bursary placements and targeted outreach activities available in the UK’s state and independent boarding schools and independent day schools, we seek to transform individual young lives, and in turn we aim to create a sustained ‘ripple-effect’ of growing aspirations and achievements across under-served communities and marginalised groups.
Since 2012 we have supported more than 1,500 young people to access the life-transforming opportunities provided by fully funded bursary places, working with more than 200 participating boarding and independent schools united under the shared commitment to build more diverse, inclusive and representative school environments. We have ambitious plans to ensure that 2,000 young people are supported by our work by 2025, through extending our Department for Education sponsored work in independent day schools.

Our network of schools is at the heart of all that we do. We harness boarding and independent schools’ commitment to using their educational environments as an engine of social mobility, coordinating a sector-wide effort to target schools’ bursary and partnerships schemes for those who most need access to these opportunities.

Purpose of the role
You will support the Head of SpringForward in managing a growing independent school- local authority partnership mentoring programme. This programme promotes partnerships between independent schools and Local Authorities that ensure that children in care can access opportunities for tailored mentoring by independent schoolteachers to help address some of their achievement and attainment gaps, and be supported to secure offers for a university or apprenticeship route on leaving school.
Key responsibilities
You will work with the Head of SpringForward to support successful management of day-to-day operations of the programme; including but not limited to:

onboarding and engagement of volunteer independent schoolteacher mentors;

liaising with school coordinators and overseeing overall school participation;

liaising with Local Authority partners and updating on pupil engagement;

supporting mentors in delivery of mentoring, quality assurance including monitoring of session reports, updating resources).
You will work with Head of SpringForward to review, implement and refine impact measurement, collecting survey data and feedback, review the outcomes and supporting continuous improvement of programme design and to communicate with new schools and LAs the programme’s benefits.
You will be held accountable for upholding the highest levels of safeguarding practice in implementation of the mentoring programme, including updating and maintaining safeguarding records for volunteers.
You will be responsible for writing reports on progress and outcomes for the charity’s senior leadership, trustees and the wider partnership community.
If seeking additional responsibilities/hours, this role could also include elements of wider communications support - including updating the charity’s website and social media content, collecting impact stories and sharing weekly content on school visits, donor engagement and key newsworthy items relevant to the work of RNCSF.

The Church of England has recently agreed a significant increase in funding to support God's mission and ministry across the country, supporting local parishes and growing many more new worshipping communities to serve the whole nation. The distributions will also help fund dioceses' plans to serve the nation in various areas such radically cutting the Church's carbon footprint and supporting parishes, cathedrals, and dioceses with using their buildings, to best missional effect whilst ensuring their protection, enhancement, conservation, and appropriate adaptation.
The Net Zero Carbon programme was established to help the Church of England to deliver its commitment to reaching Net Zero Carbon by 2030. It aims to aims to equip, resource and support all parts of the Church to reduce carbon emissions from the energy used in its buildings, schools and through work-related transport by 2030. The team manages the distribution of a grant portfolio worth £190 million across 2023-33, aimed at supporting and equipping dioceses, parishes and other parts of the Church to reach the milestones set out in the Routemap to Net Zero 2030.
This role will play a vital role in supporting the work of the Net Zero Carbon Programme's grant streams, supporting it in delivering a consistent and responsive service to grantees.
The purpose of this role is to provide a responsive service as operational officer for the grant schemes under the Churches Workstream in the Net Zero Carbon Programme:
- Currently the Demonstrator Churches Grant Fund and the Boiler Replacement Hardship Grant Fund,
- 26-28 Decarbonising Churches Grant Fund
The postholder will be the first point of contact on behalf of the grant giver for new applicants and existing grantees under the grant schemes, handling a busy caseload from pre-application contact through to completion. This will involve all aspects of grant service delivery including assessment, issuing of offers and rejections, monitoring, payments, quality assurance and evaluation within the governance and decision-making framework in place for the grant schemes. Unfold is an established local charity supporting young people and families to reach their potential by identifying and achieving their goals through mentoring. We support families and young people in Westminster and its neighbouring boroughs through mentoring programmes and peer support groups for women with children.
For over 35 years, we have provided support to families and young people at risk of social exclusion. Working with trained and DBS-checked volunteers, we offer mentoring to women and children, building independence and helping people get where they want to be. About the Role
The Programme Manager is responsible for the development, management and delivery of Unfold’s Broadening Horizons mentoring programme and peer support groups for children and young people aged 10–25.
The role includes managing a team of four (Senior Programme Officers and Programme Officers), ensuring effective planning and delivery of mentoring programmes in line with agreed strategies and workplans. You will oversee the development of specialised programmes, including mentoring for refugees, young people seeking asylum, those excluded from mainstream education, and those with care experience.
The Programme Manager will monitor performance, manage resources, ensure compliance with Unfold’s policies and procedures, and report regularly to the Deputy CEO and Board of Trustees. You will prepare reports and case studies, analyse monitoring data, revise training materials, and use findings to inform programme improvement.
Partnership management is a key element of the role, including maintaining and developing relationships with local authorities, schools, funders, and community organisations to enhance programme delivery. The postholder will also lead the Youth Advisory Council, supporting members to contribute to Unfold’s strategy and direction.

What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.

Your role will be part of the education team in Devon who enable schools and young people to develop more sustainable practices and lifestyles, specifically within the areas of waste reduction, reuse, recycling and composting.
Our ideal candidate will live in or around the East Devon / Exeter / Teignbridge area, where the majority of delivery will take place, with some home working. For the successful candidate, there may be an opportunity to expand the number of hours you deliver on a short-term basis, dependent on funding opportunities.
What you will be doing
· Develop and deliver high quality education programmes in schools on the 3Rs – reduce, reuse and recycle - and composting, to include:
o Leading workshops, assemblies and waste audits.
o Advising school staff (including senior staff, cleaners, caretakers, kitchen staff and other non-teaching staff) on educational and practical waste issues.
o Support or lead school visits to waste management facilities such as recycling centres and energy from waste (EfW) plants.

About the Role
Based in the UK, this role will play a central role in managing and supporting the recruitment and onboarding of multiple project delivery roles across various countries, while also offering HR support to an ambitious FCDO-funded global safeguarding programme. The postholder will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle for direct hires, from job posting and candidate screening to interview coordination and onboarding, while also supporting partner organisations by coordinating their HR processes with the programme central team.
This is a full-time, 18-month fixed-term contract with the potential for extension. As an organisation, we support flexible working arrangements, which can be discussed at the interview stage.
Main responsibilities
Recruitment Coordination & Delivery:
• Manage all direct recruitment using SDDirect's recruitment procedures and tools, coordinating the full recruitment lifecycle including job posting, screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and onboarding administration.
• Act as the central communication point between internal teams and partners, ensuring timely flow of accurate information between hiring managers, partner HR, and recruitment leads.
• Maintain organised records in compliance with GDPR and internal protocols, ensuring all documentation and candidate tracking is up to date.
Human Resources:
•Provide first-line HR advice to staff and managers, escalating complex issues to the central HR team.
•Provide support in troubleshooting issues related to Kimble usage and financial reporting, offering practical solutions and coordination with relevant teams.
•Oversee the annual performance management cycle and due diligence refresh for consultants.
•Conduct onboarding and exit interviews, and support continuous improvement of HR systems.
•Promote inclusive, survivor-centred HR practices and support learning and development initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 5 years' experience in recruitment coordination and/or HR roles, ideally within international development or humanitarian programmes.
• Proven experience managing multi-country recruitment processes, including coordination with partner organisations and remote teams.
•Proficiency in using recruitment platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Devex, ReliefWeb) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
•Excellent project management and diary coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across time zones.

Education Workers are based at one of our IntoUniversity learning centres and work directly with young people, schools and families on a daily basis. It is therefore not a hybrid role and is based full-time in our centres.
Location
IntoUniversity Bradford East
The role requires intermittent travel in your region (usually within the day) this can involve journeys times of 1 hour+. Occasional travel out of your local area e.g. to London is also required, this may include overnight stays.
Salary
£28,250 per annum (pro rata)

What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.
As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.
