Are you an experienced Executive Assistant with a passion for supporting meaningful work at the heart of the Church of England?

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Executive Assistant to support the Director for Episcopal Ministry, enabling the delivery of key objectives in collaboration with the Archbishops of Canterbury and York and the Church of England College of Bishops.

• Assist with diary and travel management, and office coordination; this includes drafting correspondence, briefs, and reports, and assisting with research relevant to Episcopal work.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support.
• Lead and support planning for internal and external events, including residentials and stakeholder meetings.
• Build strong relationships across Lambeth Palace, Bishopthorpe, and Bishops' Offices.
• Maintain databases and SharePoint resources, and support document storage and access.
• Draft correspondence, briefs, and reports, and assist with research relevant to Episcopal work.

Key role requirements

The Initiatives and Partnerships Manager plays a key role in the Trust’s Initiatives and Partnerships Team. The post holder will support the development and implementation of the Trust’s projects, manage team members and on occasion support external and partnership projects. What’s your mission?

● Employee Relations -

○ Advise line managers and staff on best practices for managing employee relation cases and conflict resolution using external best practice and up to date legislation.

○ Partner with the ELT on complex, high risk cases or disputes to deliver a pragmatic outcome that reduces risk to Ada.

○ Stay up to date with relevant employment laws and regulations, and ensure compliance in all employee activities while upholding Ada’s organisational values.

● Policies & Procedures -

○ Provide support and guidance to line managers and the Executive Leadership Team. Acting as a trusted advisor in all cases including performance management, conflict resolution and disciplinary cases ensuring Ada’s policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

○ Act as the leader on topics/requests related to policies, employment law and compliance.

○ Ensure policies and procedures are reviewed regularly and are up to date.

● Systems & Processes -

○ Provide support on change management programmes including restructures, ensuring change processes are implemented smoothly and risks are identified and mitigated in a timely manner.

○ Drive adoption of the recently implemented HR platform (i.e. AccessHR). Ensure all staff adhere to the agreed processes including performance management.

    Plans are to effectively link performance management to reward and recognition.

○ Proactively review existing processes and identify areas to introduce efficiencies.

● Diversity & Inclusion - Partner with the Executive Leadership Team, and lead on the implementation of the EDI action plan. In time, evolve this into a more formal strategy that ensures Ada remains an inclusive and welcoming employer across our campuses for all our staff and other stakeholders.

Key Skills and experience required

• A minimum of 4 years previous People/HR generalist and partnering experience preferably with some experience of working in schools, colleges, universities, training providers or education management organisations.
•  Level 7 CIPD qualified, or similar experience is essential Demonstrable experience of improving talent attraction, selection and development
•  Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and experience in handling complex ER cases, Employment Tribunals, ACAS Conciliations and Settlements. 
•  Demonstrable experience of working with leaders on complex people related issues.
•  High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
•  Evidence of delivering HR solutions, including strategic HR initiatives and change projects.
• Strong problem solving and decision making ability, with a proactive and solutions oriented mindset and approach.
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and/or maintaining a high-performance culture and role modelling excellent behaviours.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
•  Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the function, showing a united front to stakeholders.
•  Ability to balance commercial outcomes with mitigation of business risks.
•  Willingness to travel to the different College sites on a monthly basis, often involving overnight stays
•  A personal commitment to safeguarding and learner/colleague wellbeing.
•  Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

As the Transition and Recovery Service Team Manager you will oversee the Behavior change, and RISE Teams.

Our Behaviour Change programmes support individuals of any gender or sexual orientation who identify themselves as engaging in harmful behaviours in their relationships and are seeking support to end that harm. They may refer themselves or be referred by a professional.  Service Users may have possible engagement with Social Services, Police, Integrated Offender Management (Male only) or Probation where domestic abuse has been identified.

The RISE service provides focused support to those impacted by Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence and Stalking, including people with harmful behaviors, to access education, training, employment or volunteering

As Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a psychologically safe and supportive environment for staff working in emotionally demanding roles. You will lead with empathy and integrity, ensuring team members feel heard, valued, and empowered to raise concerns without fear. Through regular supervision, reflective practice, and wellbeing initiatives, you will promote resilience and mental health, enabling staff to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic abuse.

You will support teams to deliver consistently excellent support to people using our services, ensuring contract compliance, and drive continuous improvement and innovation in a changing landscape.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of working from home and office (Wiltshire or Devon). A driving license and willingness to travel across Wiltshire, Devon and Gloucestershire (for internal and multi-agency meetings and other deliverables) is therefore essential.

This role may include evening and weekend work when required.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide leadership, direction and support to the Behaviour change practitioners and RISE Advisors including leading in recruitment, training, scheduling and supervising staff, ensuring excellent management of the team delivering domestic abuse support to high-risk service users.
• On a day-to-day basis oversee the performance of the Behaviour change & RISE Team, acting as the main point of contact for the staff.
• To line manage the team of Behaviour change practitioners and RISE Advisors, providing case management supervision, line management support, allocation of cases and ensuring all staff are supported to meet their full potential.
• To continue the development of the Behaviour Change practitioners and RISE Advisors into a cohesive and supportive team, through the use of open communication, team meetings and coaching. This will include developing the specialist IDVA roles including Mental Health and Health IDVA’s.
• Play an active role in supporting the relevant MATAC process, including attending MATAC Management meetings.
• Additionally, to support the MARAC process and wider information sharing with statutory partners.
• Ensure the Behaviour change & RISE Team works to accreditation standards.
• To promote a culture of engagement, improvement and best practice within the Behaviour change & RISE Team, to deliver a high quality and accessible service.
• To develop and maintain a culture and systems that promote trauma informed practice and equality within the Behaviour change & RISE Team, valuing diversity and offering empathy to victims of abuse, people who cause harm and violence.
• To lead on reporting outcomes linked to the Behaviour change & RISE Team and the support of people who cause harm and RISE service users.
• Carefully monitor and evaluate the performance of the Behaviour change & RISE Team, with a focus on quality assurance.
• Proactively build relationships with the wider statutory and voluntary partners across FearFree services, with a focus on supporting high risk adult victims of domestic abuse.
• Actively network across the operating area to build the charity’s reputation and harness support for the organisation.

Their mission is to level the playing field for young people from low-income backgrounds so that they have a fair chance of accessing leading universities, apprenticeships, and jobs. With a three-pronged approach including programmes, research, and policy advocacy, The trust supports nearly 12,000 young people each year and they have been able to work towards keeping social mobility high in the political agenda.

As the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for leading some of the largest and most complex partnerships, focusing on delivering shared strategic goals to increase social mobility in the workplace. The corporate partnerships for the charity have been focused on strategic engagement on an organisational level and growth has been achieved through supporting multiple objectives and senior stakeholder relationships, so continuing this line of work will be important in the portfolio. The role will focus on both new business and account management with ambitious individual and team income targets.

To be successful as the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will have proven experience of corporate partnerships fundraising and be able to evidence securing and managing multi-year high value partnerships of six and seven figures. This person will need to demonstrate how they have developed a successful set of approaches to win new corporate partnerships and ideally experience of networking mapping and relationship building with the education and/or non-for-profit sector at the C-suite level.

This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices for at least two days per week. The salary for this role is £49,000 to £55,000.
