Role Purpose
As our international grantmaking and emergency relief support expands, we are seeking an experienced International Finance Manager to oversee high-risk and complex financial operations in humanitarian and activist contexts globally.
The International Finance Manager will provide financial leadership and oversight across our growing global grantmaking portfolio. This new role which we are testing out requires balancing robust financial stewardship with flexibility to meet the urgent needs of grassroots movements and funders working in complex, high-risk contexts.
Working closely with colleagues in Compliance, Risk & Innovation and the Grant Distribution team, you will ensure secure, transparent, and compliant management of international funds/grant disbursements, while modelling the collaborative, trauma-informed, and values-driven approach that sits at the heart of SCN’s work.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Management - 10%

Terms and benefits:
Terms: The role will be full-time (37.5 hours/week) permanent contract - we will consider well-structured JobShare applications. As we often work with volunteers, occasional evening and weekend work will be required and compensated through TOIL. Occasional but limited UK or European travel will be required (by arrangement).

Salary: £39,705
Location: You must be based in the UK. We have an office in Farringdon, London, where London-based staff typically work at least two days a week. If you are based outside of London, the role will be home-based.
We hold quarterly all-staff strategy meetings and annual away days which you will be required to attend in person: we will cover the cost of your travel. You will be required to come together with the team occasionally and these travel costs will not be covered, we try our best to keep these to when only necessary.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience Business Development Marketing professional to join our team.
The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Community Rehabilitation Service. We are the largest centre commissioned by NHS England for Category A neurorehabilitation.
This role is pivotal in leading on all business development and services-marketing activity to drive and increase brand awareness to ultimately generate referrals, whilst strengthening our position to be the provider of choice to support children with acquired brain injury and neurodisability across the UK and internationally.
You’ll work alongside a cross-organisational team to promote our services to external stakeholders, in particular managing our key account plan to influence, maximise referrals and income generating opportunities. Key to this is cultivating and maintaining relationships with stakeholders including hospital-based clinicians, commissioners at both integrated care boards and local authorities, with professionals with NHS England at a regional and national levels, embassies, medico-legal professionals including case managers and lawyers.

Job Purpose
This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is a core and out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. Our aim of the service is to keep individuals well in the community and prevent readmission into hospital. The service operates 365 days a year from 14:00-22:00pm across all of our boroughs.
Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone or virtual on a one-to-one basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis or preventing crisis.
The objectives of the service include:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health and social crisis in HFEH.
- To proactively work with keeping people well in the community to reduce re-admitters into hospitals by working with WL NHS teams (e.g. discharge, LPS, CATT, MINT and SPA)
- To provide a true alternative to A&E via a non-clinical drop-in service to support clients
- To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation and crisis recovery planning.
- To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- To treat service users with respect, dignity and personalised support
- To raise awareness of mental health services available with the goal to improve long term mental health and reduce social isolation
- To increase self-management skills of those accessing the service
- To reduce the use of police, ambulance and statutory mental health services whilst experiencing crisis via a drop-in service.
- To reduce the use of statutory crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health without positive outcomes for the individual.
The Role
The role of the team manager will be to support the rest of the team in delivering interventions on a one-to-one. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The role will also include line management and supervision of senior support workers and support workers within the service. Team managers are responsible for management of their site; including report writing, audits and being the named manager for the site and allocated borough following the borough-based approach. This role directly supports the service managers in keeping to a high standard service. The role will include implementing a smooth running of the service including facilitating debriefing and providing senior support onsite. The role of the team manager is non-clinical.

You'll play a vital role in developing work experience opportunities for adults with learning disabilities as well as supporting our team members into permanent employment. This is a new role which will require you to show heaps of flexibility and learn-as-we-go in order to shape and develop our impact into the future.
If you have pints of personality and want to work for a fantastic cause, we want to hear from you. You’ll be experienced in coaching or mentoring, be well organised and understand the barriers faced by people with a learning disability when moving into employment.
You'll support and develop our team. This means:
- managing a caseload of between 6 and 10 people who are neurodivergent and/or have a learning disability, and who are looking to move into supportive employment locally
- preparing our team members for long-term employment by supporting them to understand their skills, aspirations and goals by offering employment profiling, job matching, action planning and skill development opportunities
- working to a minimum target of 2 adults moving into long term employment by the end of your contract
- undertaking monthly work coaching sessions for team members to develop and upskill them in brewing and bar management skills
- supporting team members to reduce work-related barriers such as travel-to-work, better-off calculations, disclosure of health & wellbeing needs and budgeting
- providing in-work support to assist team members in maintaining and retaining employment, including frequent in-person meetings during the first few months of a successful employment match
You'll be responsible for our employer engagement. This means:
- undertaking tailored job searches and proactive engagement with employers to source supportive, paid job opportunities which meet our team members preferences and match their developing skillset
- identifying potential opportunities for employment within their businesses and sales opportunities amongst employment partners
- providing education and support to employers, which may include negotiating adjustments and on-going employer support to ensure job retention
- building Ignition’s profile as a skills-based, local employment specialist
You will develop our wider employability programme. This means:
- organising and facilitating regular employment taster days for people with learning disabilities looking to move into work in order to raise aspirations and developing an understanding of the workplace
- planning & running CV development workshops to help adults with learning disabilities prepare for the world of work
- developing our evidence-based employability model, drawing on good practice from other sectors, in order to constantly improve and refine the model
As part of your 20 hours per week, you will also be required to undertake one evening or weekend shift per week of up to 6 hours, as a Taproom Supervisor.
What we need from you (the essentials):
- experience of working or volunteering with neurodivergent adults or people with learning disabilities
- experience of leading, teaching, coaching, mentoring or otherwise supporting groups of people
- an understanding of the barriers to employment experienced by adults with learning disabilities
- proven experience of meeting and exceeding outcomes and targets
- well organised with experience of managing a varied workload
- outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build rapport with people
- good administrative skills with an ability to use IT and tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- a flexible and hands on approach with an an ability to think and problem-solve independently
- being comfortable trialling new approaches and learning in response

- knowledge of the benefits system and how to navigate this when moving into employment
- experience working in a bar or other customer service setting

About the role
Reporting into the Partnerships and Business Development Lead, the Corporate Partnerships Manager plays a key role within the Partnerships & Impact Funding team.
The Corporate Partnerships Manager will provide strategic leadership to develop and deliver an ambitions strategy for Christian Aid's corporate partners, with a focus on driving income and impact outcomes through private sector partnerships.
The post-holder will champion an 'in-country first' approach, influence the organisations' private sector engagement, and expand its' influence globally.
Some of the main areas of responsibility for the role of Corporate Partnerships Manager are:
- Lead the creation and implementation of the strategy for corporate partnerships, prioritising an 'in-country first' approach to maximise impact whilst aligning with organisational values and goals.
- Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic corporate partners, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Drive income growth through securing principal gifts from corporate partners.
- Actively promote collaboration across departments, external partners, and international networks to maximise impact.

About you
Who we are looking for:
Essential
- Significant experience delivering high-performing corporate partnership strategies ideally within international development organisations.
- Demonstrable track record securing substantial principal gifts from corporate partners (six or seven figure).
- Advanced knowledge of sector trends, innovative finance mechanisms, UK/international corporate models, and private/public finance approaches in the impact space.
- Highly developed skills in influencing, negotiating, producing high-quality propositions/reports, organisational planning, financial management and analytical thinking.
- Highly developed skills in independent working and influencing senior level stakeholders.
- Understanding of Corporate Sector trends and environment.
- Understanding of Corporate Fundraising approaches and strategies.
- Understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Sustainability issues.
Desirable
- Demonstrable experience in Private Sector leadership in either C-suite or a CSR department.

The role is designed as an integrated employment and mental health service to improve both mental health and employment outcomes. EAs are part of the employment team and work alongside clinicians to provide employment support to help clients remain in work, return to work, or find employment. This takes the form of personalised support for the client backed up by an action plan detailing the client's employment goals and the actions that the client, the therapist, and the Employment Advisor agree to take to meet those goals.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience providing vocational support, including job search, CV development, interview coaching, and job retention, with a particular focus on supporting individuals with mental health conditions into, or in sustaining, employment.
They should have strong knowledge of employment law, the Equality Act, and reasonable adjustments, with the ability to advise on employer obligations and practical workplace solutions. Proven experience in building partnerships with employers, Jobcentre Plus, clinical teams, and community organisations is essential, along with strong networking skills to coordinate comprehensive support with wider agencies.
The role requires a person-centred approach, with experience in coaching and motivating service users while respecting their choices and aspirations. Strong case management and organisational skills are essential to manage varied caseloads, track outcomes, and maintain accurate reporting.
Knowledge of welfare benefits, including “better off” calculations, and the ability to signpost to additional support such as housing, financial advice, and legal services, is required. The candidate should also be confident liaising with external agencies such as Access to Work and Citizens Advice to enhance support for clients.
