Operation Christmas Child UK (OCC) has implemented a strategic volunteer ministry, investing in teams of volunteers who will multiply themselves and hugely extend the reach of OCC’s mission.
OCC is the world’s largest shoebox appeal where Samaritan’s Purse, together with local churches here and overseas, distributes from the UK 1/4 million gift-filled shoeboxes annually to children in need overseas and in so doing demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
A resourceful and energetic Regional Manager is needed to recruit, select, equip, and lead teams of volunteers throughout the 32 London boroughs.
You will be passionate about developing others towards highly effective ministry, teamwork and increased personal competency.
You will also directly engage churches to participate in OCC in areas not yet covered by Connect volunteers. A special opportunity will be engaging London churches that have partnered with our sister ministry, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for the June 2025 God Loves You Tour London.
You will be confident to take initiative with people and projects and also have good administrative and organisational skills. You will also enjoy envisioning the numerous volunteers who participate in the OCC shoebox appeal each year.
You will enthusiastically support the Christian purposes of OCC and Samaritan’s Purse and be committed to the value of well-equipped volunteers and to developing them further. Candidates will have proven people and project management and administrative experience in the workplace and be educated to A levels or ideally Degree level.
This role is based in region, and so prospective candidates should currently live in the region and provide their own transport for which defined expenses will be paid.

In this role, you will manage an existing caseload and new referrals, meeting with families and Young Carers to complete statutory assessments and create action plans. You‘ll provide support for Young Carers to reduce the impact of their caring role and improve their resilience, educational chances and wellbeing, through signposting to local services, in-school support, one-to-one sessions, and workshops.

The Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH) is a Charity and Company Limited by guarantee and is the representative body for Directors of Public Health (DPH) in the UK. We are now looking to appoint to the full-time, permanent position of Development Programme Manager. The successful candidate will work with our Head of Development and Engagement to develop and deliver our comprehensive membership offer to our range of members.

This new role is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the growth of our Major Gifts and Partnerships Team. You’ll take the lead in stewarding our current portfolio of generous philanthropists, while also building a pipeline of new supporters, securing significant gifts to power our work.

The World Hepatitis Alliance is an international NGO, representing over 400 civil society and patient organisation members in over 120 countries. We are committed to eliminating viral hepatitis, a devastating disease that affects more than 300 million people and is now the second most deadly infectious disease in the world.
Our current partners are mostly global corporate funders, along with several private foundations, and most support is given through bespoke partnerships, sponsorship and grants. We have diversified the base of funding substantially, introduced new funding models, and identified new funding opportunities, including working with partners to respond to global donor or institutional funding.
We are looking for a confident relationship-building who thrives on identifying new opportunities and developing long-term partnerships to help build on this momentum.
Duties and key responsibilities:
- Together with the Director of Partnerships & Resources, you will support the implementation of the fundraising strategy, deliver activity plans and achieve income targets in line with organisational funding priorities.
- Maintain and develop relationships with some existing partners.
- Proactively research and engage potential new partners and opportunities, which could include corporate partnerships, grant writing and sponsorship.
- Support on the delivery of sponsorship packages for campaigns and the World Hepatitis Summit – a bi-annual event hosted by the World Hepatitis Alliance.
- Support on the management of WHA’s annual corporate membership scheme
- Undertake your own projects such as the development of presentations, resources, newsletters or tools to support engagement with donors, working with programmes and communications colleagues, or support on wider organisational projects.

- Manage CRM database and provide administrative support across fundraising as needed.

The World Hepatitis Alliance is a small team who work closely together to deliver a wide range of programmes, activities, campaigns and communications. There may be opportunities to support on projects led by other teams and plenty of scope to develop the fundraising and partnerships function within this role as the team grows.
About you:
We are looking for a confident fundraiser who thrives on developing new opportunities and is self-motivated and pro-active.
We would like you to have at least three years’ experience in fundraising with corporates and/or trusts and foundations, or have demonstrable transferable skills, particularly around networking/new business and writing proposals. We would also like you to demonstrate skills in delivering presentations, managing data or supporter journeys, and it would be ideal if you had experience of working in, or a personal interest in, global health or infectious diseases.
We are also looking for someone who can work under pressure to meet deadlines while also having an eye for detail and desire to maintain high standards. Someone who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. We work quite flexibly, and sometimes with partners all over the world so there may be a call or two outside of working hours. There may also be the opportunity to travel occasionally.

The Opportunity

To support the range and depth of partnerships we have and the potential we see, we are looking for a Partnerships Manager to work primarily on building partnerships with Local Authorities and public sector organisations, charities and social enterprises, faith-based and inclusion-focused organisations and other groups who might help us strategically grow and resource the Warm Welcome network across the UK (NB Corporate Partnerships are managed by our newly appointed Fundraising Lead for Corporates). The Partnerships Manager will also help develop our support for Warm Welcome Spaces, including overseeing our Champions Programme which offers more intense support and a Community of Practice to a smaller cohort of local groups.

Responsibilities
Building Partnerships
● Developing our Partnership Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to help us grow the network and reach our ambition of 100% of the population living within a 30-minute walk of a registered Warm Welcome Space. This will involve identifying and engaging partners in geographical ‘cold spots’ for the network (utilising our mapping tool developed with UCL), as well as forming partnerships to unlock new or under-represented types of Warm Welcome Spaces (e.g. Housing Association Community Spaces, cinemas, community spaces created by new housing developments etc).
● Leading the development of our Local Co-ordinators Cluster which brings together Local Authorities and others who are leading place-based networks of community spaces.
● Overseeing and developing the Champions Programme, providing more intensive support and connections to a smaller cohort of Warm Welcome Spaces.
Engagement and Inclusion
● Developing our Inclusion Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to diversify our Coalition and support local Spaces to become more accessible and inclusive.
● Working with the team to develop regular engagement activities for Warm Welcome Partners.
● Producing compelling communications (written and verbal) to promote the work of the Warm Welcome Campaign and grow the depth and breadth of partnerships - to include but not limited to partnership proposals, pitches and reports.
Good Practices, Standards and Systems
● Supporting, maintaining and developing existing partnerships and manage the systems (including CRM use) needed for excellent partnerships delivery, stewardship and development.
● Leading Warm Welcome Space good practice and driving up quality standards across the network, including through developing a Warm Welcome Awards programme.

As Senior Volunteer Co-ordinator, you’ll play a central role in growing and supporting our network of local support groups. What the job involves
We’re looking for a Customer Experience Executive to join our team on a fixed term basis covering an internal secondment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, people-orientated, Customer Experience/ Supporter Care professional to join an established team at one of the most dynamic charities in the UK.

What we want from you

You’ll be comfortable highlighting the impact that every stakeholder has on our customers’ experiences. Proactive, collaborative, and a real people person, you’ll work well under pressure as part of a dynamic team.
You’ll have experience using a CRM system (like Raiser’s Edge) and understand the importance of handling sensitive data in line with GDPR regulations. Ideally, you’ll also have a good understanding of fundraising rules, including Gift Aid.
