We're looking for a Senior Project Worker to share responsibility for the effective daily operation of Catching Lives’ services, in the day centre and in the community. Working at Catching Lives

Catching Lives is a community charity, currently staffed by a team of 10. We’re in the process of expanding with current recruitment, so that we can introduce community-based support alongside strengthening our core day centre offer.

The successful candidate will complete a structured induction that includes shadowing colleagues and visiting local services. Staff typically attend weekly team meetings on Wednesday afternoons, as well as having regular 1-1s with their line manager, and there is confidential access to an employee assistance scheme. As a lived experience led organisation, we provide culturally competent, trauma informed and survivor centred support to women from migrant and racially minoritised communities affected by violence against women and girls. As part of the Safe Horizons London Partnership, funded by MOPAC and led by Victim Support, we deliver specialist advocacy and support for women from Latin American communities across London.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting survivors of domestic abuse to improve their safety, wellbeing and access to justice.

About the role

You will provide high quality advocacy, risk management and practical support to women experiencing domestic abuse. You will work closely with survivors to develop safety plans, navigate complex systems and access housing, legal, health and other specialist services.

You will represent survivors within multi agency settings including MARAC, build strong partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector organisations and contribute to community engagement and prevention activities.

• Lead external affairs strategy, building the relationships and influence needed to shape policy, remove barriers and expand EO.

We are looking for an energetic, organised and enthusiastic challenge event and corporate fundraiser to join our ambitious fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in fundraising, ideally working within the corporate or challenge event fields.

You will play a key role in growing our corporate income by stewarding existing relationships and cultivating new ones. Alongside growing our TEAM ORPHEUS! Challenge event. Recruiting, stewarding and retaining fundraisers. Working closely with the Partnerships Manager and Deputy Head of Fundraising, you’ll help the organisation prepare for significant planned growth and an upcoming capital appeal

​Key responsibilities

• Deliver against corporate income targets in line with our fundraising strategy.
• Identify, cultivate and secure new corporate partnerships, including Charity of the Year opportunities, sponsorships and corporate fundraising campaigns.
• Steward existing corporate supporters with high-quality engagement, communication and reporting.Plan and manage corporate supporter engagement opportunities including meetings, volunteering days and events.Recruit and engage participants to sign up for fundraising challenge events.
• Provide excellent supporter care by guiding participants before, during, and after their challenge.
• Identify opportunities to grow income, including upselling participants to larger events or encouraging repeat participation.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records using our CRM system.
• Contribute to industry insight by monitoring trends, opportunities and sector developments.

Essential Experience & Skills​

• Experience in fundraising or B2B account management.
