The role
The Corporate Partnerships team manage award-winning, long-term, strategic partnerships that raise more than £5m for the charity. Partnerships with household names, such as Asda, M&S and ghd, deliver both commercial results for our partners and benefit women and their families affected by breast cancer.
You will take the lead in designing and securing the next wave of strategic, long-term, high profile and high value (6 figure+) partnerships. You will take ownership over sectors, research and identify top prospects, and proactively approach and build relationships with Director level contacts of key companies.
You will work in a supportive, creative, and ambitious environment, managed by an experienced Head of Corporate Engagement and alongside a passionate and talented team.
Corporate Engagement is of huge importance to the charity and it is important to harness all available expertise, so we would expect you to liaise across the whole charity and to act as a role model for collaboration across our team and the charity.
About you
We need someone with a proven track record of securing 5 figure+ corporate partnerships. You will be ambitious, proactive, tenacious, and a commercially driven corporate fundraiser.
You will demonstrate experience of securing a variety of partnerships, including Charity of the Year, strategic, sponsorship or cause-related marketing campaigns - by establishing strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
You will need to be a great relationship builder with excellent public speaking and presentation skills. You will be results driven and highly organised, with an ability to monitor and prioritise potential opportunities in a fast-paced environment. An eye for spotting how a business can help a charity, or its beneficiaries, is key. A natural empathy for women and their families affected by breast cancer is essential.

The role will focus on completing robust evaluations of our various projects, collecting evidence of what services work well, how we can improve quality and quantity of provision and measure the impact of the work we do.

We work to change these young lives by providing the vital equipment, support and life skills they need. The post will sit within the Carers Trust Wales team and be managed by the Director of Wales.

The Role
With a strong focus on patient engagement and insight gathering and proven experience scaling patient support services and amplifying patient voice, the Programme Lead will work collaboratively and at pace to set up a new programme which will;
- Continue to develop and deliver support services in Wales for bowel cancer patients and their loved ones.
- Be an increasingly strong voice for bowel cancer patients.
- Enhance the education, engagement and support offer to healthcare professionals to improve early diagnosis, including the expansion of community pharmacy work launched in phase 1.
- Continue to raise awareness of bowel screening, the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer through a programme of volunteer-led awareness work in the community.

- Build, train and manage a cohort of volunteers

The Role

Live Well with Hearing Loss is a three year project funded by the Welsh Government under the Sustainable Social Services Grant which started in April 2020. The project has three strands, the At Home Service, the Befriending Service and the Post Diagnostic Service.
The Post Diagnostic service gives early intervention support to those who are newly diagnosed with hearing loss. The Post Diagnostic Adviser will share tips and strategies and demonstrate equipment over 3 sessions to facilitate independence and wellbeing. The service is delivered within the Audiology clinic at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, but due to COVID-19 is currently offered remotely.

The Amber Project provides help and support to young people (12-25) who have experience of self harm. We can offer help in a number of different ways including counselling, Friday evening workshops, theatre workshops, and informal support. We provide Activity Based Workshops, Theatre Workshops, Counselling and One to One Support. As a part time Support Worker, covering maternity leave you will be working with young people aged 12-25 years old who have experience of self-harm. The nature of the work means role, and successful candidate, must focus on inclusivity for the young people.
The successful candidate will have considerable experience in working with young people aged 12-25 and will enjoy the challenge of working with adolescents in difficult circumstances. You will need to be able to work within a non-discriminatory framework, ensuring the services are provided in a qualitative, responsive and accessible manner. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, you will need to be able to engage in remote working, connecting with the young people by phone and video-conferencing.
