This is a truly exciting time to be joining Fauna & Flora’s Fundraising Team. Over the past couple of years, we have established a fundraising programme that is going from strength-to-strength. More people than ever before are choosing to support our work, and as a result our donor base is rapidly growing.

Our teams’ focus is to recruit and steward individuals who give gifts of £1,000+ in support of global biodiversity conservation. This critical post will focus on supporting the delivery of Fauna & Flora’s exciting High Value Engagement Programme – supporting events, travel, communications and donor reporting aimed at our international high-value supporter base.

We are looking for a motivated fundraising and communications assistant to support and help deliver an outstanding programme of communications and fundraising events, including dinners, receptions and webinars. You will be confident in interacting with high-net-worth individuals and VIPs, and will be highly organised with a fine attention to detail. You will be a team player, able to work effectively with colleagues across our global organisation. You will be an effective communicator, with experience of fundraising events, digital communications and creating engagement materials that influence diverse audiences.

The role represents an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment, supporting globally important approaches for people, nature and climate.

Job Title: Senior Support Coach

Location: Redbridge (Around a 10 minute walk from Gants Hill station) Based in service with occasional travel to Central office (Please kindly note that unfortunately both locations do not have step free access)

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Support coach to join our team which focus on supporting residents with OPD (Offender Personality Disorder) and related cognitive or behavioural challenges, many of whom have experienced institutional care or social exclusion. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, acting as a mentor and lead for the team, providing advice and guidance, as well as providing specialist expertise to the team and residents. 

You will further deliver one-to-one support with residents directly, developing personalised support plans, risk assessments, facilitating life skills sessions, and help individuals access services, resources, and opportunities within the community. Our support is tailored towards providing person centred support to empower our residents to achieve their personal goals and independent living. You will be instrumental in creating a safe, flexible, inclusive, and psychologically informed environment that promotes dignity, choice, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities further Include:

• Delivering effective 1:1 and group-based support for residents/participants in line with support plans
• Providing specialist advice and guidance to the team and residents
• Acting as the first point of contact in the absence of management
• Supporting property management tasks including reporting repairs, monitoring health & safety, and maintaining high accommodation standards
• Supporting residents to access relevant networks, training, life skills, and community resources
• Promoting resident participation in the design and running of service activities
• Working flexibly to meet the needs of the service and taking part in continuous improvement initiatives

About You

We're looking for someone who has knowledge and understanding of Offender Personality Disorder, able to share this with others and act as a mentor to resolving complex cases. You'll bring experience within a similar environment to the role, and have experience in supporting similar residents with areas of social care, supported housing, and community support. You will have a commitment to person-centred support and have an understanding of the importance of trauma-informed care, able to lead by example.

As a key member of SCT’s Housing First team, you’ll provide tailored, person-centred support to people who have experienced homelessness and other traumatic events. Working with a small caseload (around six residents), you will build trusting, relationships that empower people to maintain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing, and take meaningful steps towards recovery. Through practical advice, emotional support, and strong advocacy, you’ll help break cycles of exclusion and create lasting change, on each person’s terms. 

Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime. Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester.As the post holder you will be responsible for delivering our front-line work to young people, parents and other adults (professionals). You will work in schools and in community settings across the North West of England to generate impact for young people using Khulisa’s trauma-informed approach. This role requires an enhanced DBS check.

The post holder will be required to work from home permanently but be willing and able to easily travel regularly to various locations in in the North West of England as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role, to deliver aspects of the programme, and to engage with other stakeholders and colleagues.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Programme Delivery:

· Facilitate the delivery of sessions in our flagship Face It programme and modular workshops to young people, our Nurturing Connections programme for parents and carers, and our trauma training for professionals.

· Facilitate delivery to a high standard in all settings (schools, youth services, and community spaces), ensuring that you are always taking a trauma informed approach.

· Facilitate various youth participation workshops, co-delivering with young people as much as practicable.

· Respond to any questions, disclosures or safeguarding concerns raised during sessions and follow up where necessary with the relevant safeguarding teams or, where consent is secured, make onward referrals for additional support in specific cases.

· Contribute to the continuous development of all aspects of the programmes, sharing new ideas and using best practice.

· Participate in the periodic review and updating of programme contents and/or development of new materials with relevant colleagues, ensuring that materials used across the team are always uniform and consistent.

· Maintain accurate records of programme activities, including record of input, output, and impact as well as demographics data, and support relevant colleagues in ensuring effective monitoring and periodic evaluation and reporting of impact generated.

· Manage relevant budgets and ensure a value for money approach to all expenditure, making sure to keep within budget.

Programme Coordination:

· Take direct responsibility for logistics of individual programme delivery or activity, including scheduling, resourcing, staffing, and liaising with schools and other partners to ensure effective delivery.

· Work with colleagues in Impact and Evidence team to provide programme data as required to effectively demonstrate impact generated through your delivery.

· Where possible during delivery, generate multi-media content for the use of colleagues in communications to use in updating the Khulisa website and for social media.

Stakeholder Management:

· Support the Programme Lead in the building and maintenance of strong relationships with delivery partners - schools, community organisations, and other important stakeholders.

· Contribute to any work to use learning from delivery activities to redesign existing programmes and/or develop new pieces of work as required.

· If required, represent Khulisa at events, meetings, and conferences as required etc.

· Support the onboarding and training of Associate Facilitators and volunteers as necessary.

· When required, support the onboarding and training of other permanent programme staff.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

· Objectively review the successes and achievements of each delivery session facilitated against programme or activity objectives, identifying and implementing opportunities for making ongoing improvements.

· Depending on experience and qualifications, to be receptive to any other duties as required by the line manager and in line with the needs of Khulisa.

· To develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other professionals, and to participate in team meetings.

· To participate in personal supervision in accordance with Khulisa’s supervision and performance appraisal policy and attend agreed training as relevant.

· At all times to carry out the responsibilities of the post in a manner consistent with promoting equalities and diversity and demonstrate respect for colleagues and Khulisa’s aims and values.

· To maintain an awareness of own and others’ health and safety and comply with Khulisa’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.

As Head of Fundraising at Coventry you will be leading a team of Fundraisers at an incredibly exciting time for the Charity as they look to grow and diversify income streams. You will work towards income targets as well as mentoring and growing the existing team. The value "To always put the child at the centre of everything we do" is key and this role is perfect for a fundraising leader to work innovatively and strategically whilst raising income for a truly wonderful cause.

You will develop relationships across Corporate and Community groups as well as raise the profile of Zoe's Baby Hospice in the local area.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have;

• had at least 2 years of experience as a manager in a fundraising team with responsibility for leading, motivating, directing and monitoring the daily activities of others and facilitating professional development
• Experience of creating and implementing a strategy to ensure diverse and sustainable income streams are in place
• Experience of managing budgets
• Experience of planning and delivery of fundraising events and/ or campaigns

FTWW is looking for a full-time Volunteer and Community Coordinator! The successful candidate will strengthen community activity by engaging with external stakeholders and members of the public, increasing our reach and volunteer numbers. They will ensure that volunteers are supported and equipped to participate in a wide range of activities, both in-person and online.

The role is full-time home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage.

We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in facilitating an online coproduction event one day and speaking at the Senedd the next so excellent communication skills are a must. We currently have over 90 registered volunteers and a key part of the role will be to develop our volunteer programme.  As a small team, you will also support our part-time Engagement Coordinator, so there will be plenty of opportunity to demonstrate your creative skills too.

The ability to speak Welsh, or a willingness to learn, is desirable. We may also consider part time hours, or a job share for the right candidates. Please note in your application if this applies to you.

About the role

In this exciting role, you will be a critical member of our influencing team, helping to bring the voice of people living with arthritis right into the heart of Westminster. Working with the Public Affairs team, you will help to deliver the charity’s public affairs activities, building a strong profile with decision-makers to ensure our messages and policy priorities are front and centre of their thoughts.

You will support the delivery of exciting and engaging influencing strategies, working with colleagues to combine policy, public affairs, campaigning, media and social media in order to influence policy change.  You will also play a key role in organising and delivering the charity’s activities at Parliamentary events and political party conferences.

About you

If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:

• Strong communicator to help build external relationships with politicians, civil servants and other decision-makers, coupled with good understanding of the Westminster Parliamentary process, UK Government and the wider influencing environment to produce engaging materials and organise events.
• Excellent organisational skills are essential, to deliver a programme of events, politician visits and other activities in Westminster and across the devolved nations.
• Excellent attention to detail, and ability to adapt written and verbal communication styles for different audiences.

The Position

We’re looking for a highly motivated senior programmes officer with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to run the Schools’ Outreach programmes. These include, but are not limited to, Work Experience Programmes, Corporate Mentoring Programmes and Corporate Insight Days

Annual Rate: £35,000 to £38,000 (pro rata)

Location: The ideal candidate will be based in London. This role is 3 to 4 days per week working from home and 1 to 2 days in the office. Additionally, there will be travel to schools, companies and event venues across England.

Essential criteria

1. Demonstrable programme administration experience

2. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, enabling independent drafting of documents, virtual learning content, and correspondence tailored to diverse audiences.

3. Proficient in numerical analysis, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy when handling complex data, employing a data-driven decision-making approach.

4. Experience in the use of student records systems and virtual learning environments, including proficiency in managing online assessments.

5. Proven experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders across two separate areas.

6. Strong time management and organisational skills, adept at meeting tight deadlines and managing competing priorities, particularly across Schools, with a willingness to seek and utilise support as needed.

We are principally funded by Sport England to work with local partners to create opportunities for people to be physically active, move more, and play sport. We work with a diverse range of partners and manage several grant funding programmes and projects that aim to create opportunities for local people in the Black Country to be active.

About the roles

Working closely with the Active Black Country team and Local Authority partners, the 2 x Community Engagement Officers will play a key role in identifying community need and will identify appropriate support or training solutions. The role will support communities to build capacity and knowledge and will share opportunities to be active, support creativity and the development of skills.

Working closely with the Active Black Country (ABC) team and Local Authority partners you will:

1. Engage with communities to understand barriers and motivations to adopting an active lifestyle.

2. Support community organisations to make it easier to find and access physical activity opportunities locally including online.

3. Support understanding and awareness of digital platforms including ABC’s Black Country Moving Platform and its benefits.

4. Ensure that community voice is captured and utilised at all stages of development and support.

5. Connect and collaborate with key community engagement roles across the Black Country, such as Public Health Development Officers.

Main duties

1. Work with the Active Communities Strategic Lead, communities, and residents to understand needs and training requirements.

2. Build relationships with partners, community organisations and provide support to integrate physical activity content on The Black Country Moving Platform.

3. To promote opportunities to encourage people to be active, providing ongoing support to local community organisations to raise awareness and accessibility of local services that support active lifestyles.

4. Coordinate a programme of support or training opportunities based on community need.

5. Work with the ABC Digital Inclusion Manager to improve the wayfinding experience of the Black Country Moving platform, developing content with community organisations and residents.

6. Share learning across the region to build shared understanding of the challenges to being active and how we can collectively deliver future services.

7. Collect and collate data including case studies.

8. Maintain ABC stakeholder database.
