Founded in 1997, the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) is the tea sector’s global membership organisation working to improve the lives of the people and communities who rely on tea for their livelihoods. A not-for-profit membership organisation with 38 diverse members, we collaborate with our members, third-party grantors and other stakeholders to implement impactful, long-term programmes in tea-producing countries and drive responsible business practices.

Our work addresses the most pressing human rights and environmental challenges in the global tea supply chain - from improving livelihoods and working conditions to advancing equality and climate resilience. Many of the challenges facing the tea sector are deep-rooted and systemic and no single organisation can address them alone. Meaningful progress requires collaboration and the combined efforts of partners across the sector.

Role purpose

We’re looking for a Communications Lead to shape and deliver ETP’s content strategy - supporting the communications needs of our members, helping to demonstrate the value of ETP’s work, and contributing to the growth of our membership. From developing thought leadership pieces and showcasing programme impact, to enhancing our digital presence and supporting media engagement, your work will help ensure members, partners, and prospective members understand and connect with ETP’s mission and impact.

Key responsibilities

Content development and management

• Lead the production of key content pieces at ETP, including our annual report, regular updates to members and stakeholders, and innovative programme impact stories.
• Own and manage the communications content calendar, ensuring creativity and alignment with organisational goals.
• Own programmatic communications, collaborating with internal teams to produce communication toolkits on our range of programmes for members, incorporating feedback to meet members’ needs effectively.
• Collaborate with members and partners to ensure communications align with their needs and priorities – on both programmes and day-to-day communications.
• Work closely with ETP’s leadership team, country teams and experts to develop thought leadership pieces that contribute to sector-wide conversations and challenge the status quo constructively.
• Develop and issue ETP’s monthly member and stakeholder newsletter, ensuring there is ample content and that it is delivered on time.

Digital ownership

• Develop and implement ETP’s social media strategy, ensuring consistent, engaging, and impactful output.
• Oversee all social media activity, driving engagement and growing ETP’s digital presence across LinkedIn and X.
• Develop and share regular posts from the ETP CEO and sample posts for team members for key initiatives.
• Own website content, regularly updating the site with new information, from new joiners to news articles and programme updates.

Showcasing impact

• Create content that showcases ETP’s impact at both programmatic and sectoral levels, using innovative and striking approaches.
• Work with the Monitoring & Evaluation Lead to update the Global Impact Framework, ensuring our website data is up to date and effectively communicating impact across the ETP portfolio.

Design

• Use existing Adobe’s InDesign and Canva templates to produce a range of ETP branded assets including donor reports, event materials such as standees and backdrops etc.

Media relations

• Work with the Head of Communications & Membership to respond to media inquiries and support crisis communication efforts as needed.
• Research and create compelling media content, including proactive and reactive press releases.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets to amplify ETP’s message.

Experience and skills required

Essential

• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive content.
• Experience in developing creative and disruptive (yet constructive) content strategies.
• Strong social media strategy and management experience.
• Experience in media relations, including crafting press releases and managing media inquiries.
• Exceptional organisation skills, the ability to stick to deadlines and ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to brief external suppliers e.g. designers and videographers to ensure they deliver on brief, on time and to budget.
• Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter, demonstrating a dynamic, driven mindset with strong lateral thinking skills to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Demonstrate drive, curiosity, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English required and proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
• High proficiency in MS Office applications, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress and MailChimp.

Desirable

• Understanding of agricultural supply chains and the issues at play in corporate social responsibility.
• Good contacts with journalists and media outlets that focus on supply chain issues.
• Familiarity with impact measurement frameworks and tools.

Young Citizens is seeking a Business Development and Special Projects Lead to support a critical year of fundraising, income generation and partnership development. This role supports the special projects work with the CEO and will work with the senior team to lead on the income and visibility opportunities that unlock our delivery for our three-year strategy.

Your Role’s Purpose

Year 1 of this role will be focused on business model development, income generation and strategic partnerships. Working closely with the CEO and senior management team, you will help shape, test and secure new funding and commercial opportunities that position Young Citizens for long-term sustainability and impact. The special projects element includes supporting the developmental design of our future business model, charity strategy and public affairs work.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, creating and working at pace to achieve great results within a small team. You will be rapidly developing propositions, forging partnerships and converting ideas into credible, funded initiatives. You will play a central role in strengthening our relationships with funders, institutions, corporates and sector partners, while supporting wider organisational development projects.

Young Citizens works at the intersection of education, democracy and civic life, and this role offers a unique opportunity to influence how active citizenship is funded, delivered and embedded across the UK.

In Year 1, your primary focus will be to:

• Develop and drive income/fundraising with existing channels, including grant funding, partnerships and commercial activity.
• Build a strong pipeline of income opportunities, working closely with the CEO to convert prospects into funding
• Produce high-quality business cases, funding bids, proposals and presentations of our work
• Design and execute new funding models and partnership opportunities alongside the CEO’s updated strategic plan
• Lead staff member for strategic engagement with funders, corporates, policymakers and sector stakeholders.

Alongside this, you will contribute to priority special projects that support Young Citizens’ organisational growth and external positioning.

This role is not just open to traditional fundraisers or partnership managers. As long as you have the seniority and expertise leading results, you might come from a charity, social enterprise, consultancy, policy or start-up background. What matters most is your ability to confidently progress a pipeline of opportunities, build partnerships, generate income and deliver results.

We are looking for a highly motivated and gifted communicator to craft Spotlight’s messages and help us achieve real change. 

You will be joining a small dedicated team of anti-corruption experts and campaigners for this busy, varied and multi-skilled role. We have a full programme of work for the year ahead with projects on illicit finance, political integrity, and corporate accountability for financial crime. 

Candidates should be exceptional all-round communicators, with significant experience in achieving impact through a range of channels from digital and social media to print, broadcast and events. They will have a track record of driving communications efforts to achieve campaign or policy objectives, as well as experience of developing messages for a wide range of audiences, and translating complex expert subject matter into newsworthy content. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and proactive, a strategic thinker, an excellent writer and able to apply their skills and experience across a range of different communications channels. Spotlight on Corruption is a UK based charity which aims to end impunity for corruption, promote political integrity within the UK, and ensure the UK acts as a global leader on fighting corruption. We are a bold, expert voice that pushes forward the anti-corruption agenda in a pragmatic and credible way, consistently punching above our weight in holding the government to account for taking action against corruption, cronyism, and dirty money in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Spotlight’s day to day communications and public messaging to ensure we achieve real reforms and impact in tackling corruption and protecting UK democracy. 

• Secure strategic and influential media coverage by developing and maintaining relationships with journalists, developing ideas for stories, and identifying key communication opportunities to get Spotlight’s messages across, including by monitoring daily news.

• Build Spotlight’s reach and influence online with target audiences (politicians, civil servants, journalists, civil society, and funders) by maintaining Spotlight on Corruption’s website, social media accounts and mailing lists, and working with colleagues to develop engaging content.

Working arrangements

Full-time, 35 hours per week. Working from home required, but with one day a week in the office near London Bridge. Must be based in or near London. We support flexible working arrangements and operate a nine day fortnight. Attendance at networking events and being on-call for media work outside of office hours occasionally required.

the3million is the largest grassroots organisation for EU citizens in the UK, formed after the 2016 referendum to protect the rights of people who have made the UK their home. 

Our work ranges from organising EU citizens’ communities and informing people about their rights, to holding the Government to account on the implementation of the Withdrawal Agreement and advocating for social justice.

We are looking for an experienced and values-driven Community Organiser to lead the delivery of EU Voices, a project aimed at strengthening EU citizens’ communities in the UK through capacity building of civil society organisations (CSOs) and delivering a programme of engagement events and campaigns directly with EU citizens. 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about social justice and migrants’ rights, able to plan, deliver and evaluate community engagement events, while also playing a key role in liaising with CSOs and delivering a programme of capacity building activities, enabling networks to be more effective and strategic in making change happen. The role requires strong experience in community organising, participatory approaches and working with diverse, grassroots-led CSOs.

Key responsibilities

1. Community organising and civic engagement 

• Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of the project’s community organising strategy, working closely with the3million’s other Community Organisers to deliver a cohesive programme of opportunities.
• Plan, organise and facilitate listening sessions with EU citizens’ communities in partnership with local grassroots organisations.
• Deliver outreach activities at cultural, educational and community events, including stalls promoting the project and voter registration drives.
• Design and facilitate intercultural dialogue events that build bridges between EU citizens and British residents.
• Ensure all community engagement activities are inclusive, participatory and grounded in lived experience.
• Work with the Communications Manager to effectively promote the project in the media and the3million’s website, newsletter and social media as appropriate.

2. Capacity building for CSOs 

• Lead the delivery of capacity building activities for EU citizens’ organisations, coordinating with fundraising, communications and anti-oppressive practices training providers.
• Work closely with grassroots CSOs providing one to one guidance and support, including on organising local engagement events.
• Support CSOs to deliver and implement community organising plans and deliver local outreach and campaigning events.

3. Coordination and project management

• Act as the main point of contact for the3million within the EU Voices consortium, working closely with the Project Coordinator and partners.
• Coordinate activities to ensure coherence, timely delivery and alignment with project objectives and indicators.
• Lead on project planning, internal coordination meetings, and risk management.
• Support monitoring, evaluation and learning processes, including the collection of qualitative and quantitative data from community activities.

4. Stakeholder engagement 

• Work with the Head of Policy and Advocacy to ensure community insights and grassroots priorities inform and lead the3million’s advocacy.
• Support the3million’s policy-focused webinars and engagement with UK and EU decision-makers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide network of external stakeholders including grassroots community leaders and CSOs. 

5. Reporting and documentation

• Lead on the3million’s narrative reporting for EU funders, including event reports, progress updates and evidence of impact.
• Ensure accurate documentation of activities, participant engagement and outcomes in line with EU funding and visibility requirements.
• Support the production of case studies, testimonials and stories of impact from participating CSOs. 

6. General responsibilities 

• Represent the views of the3million at events, conferences and in the media, as appropriate.
• Provide assistance in other areas of the3million’s work as and when deemed necessary by the CEO.

Person specifications

Knowledge and experience: 

• Significant experience (minimum 3 years) in community organising, grassroots mobilisation or community development.
• Proven experience working directly with EU citizens or other minoritised, racialised or migrant communities.
• Strong understanding of participatory, rights-based and inclusive organising approaches.
• Experience coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders and partners.
• Experience of working with people from different backgrounds, including different language skills, cultures/ethnicities, ages, etc. Comfortable interacting with people who hold different opinions with a view to build mutual understanding and solidarity.

Skills:

• Excellent facilitation skills (experience of running workshops, events, stakeholder meetings)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing funding reports, ability to write clear emails with compelling calls to action and the confidence to speak in public settings
• Familiarity with anti-oppression practices (which can include anti-racism, co-liberatory and intersectional principles) and ability to apply them in practice (centering the voices of racialised, minoritised and under-represented community members in project design and implementation)
• Strong administrative skills, time management and attention to detail, including the ability to set meeting agendas, keep records of volunteers/partners and to follow up on agreed actions

This is a key role at Southwark Cathedral supporting the Dean and the Sub-Dean. This secretarial role will primarily feature management of a busy personal diary, correspondence and broader administrative support for the Dean in his capacity as Dean of Southwark, Chair of Chapter and CEO of the Cathedral. Main Duties and Responsibilities

For the Dean

• Manage the Dean’s diary: including making appointments, arranging meetings, scheduling preaching and other liturgical arrangements, programming annual schedules (such as Bishops Staff Meetings, chaplaincy and wider public commitments) - keeping Outlook diaries up to date with any changes and making travel arrangements;
• Prepare the Dean’s weekly diary file, including the preparation of any meeting papers or briefs for the week ahead;
• Provide administrative support for the Dean in relation to their attendance at meetings associated with the governance of the Cathedral, including Chapter, Finance Committee, Fabric Advisory Committee and Board of Enterprises. This will include liaising with colleagues on the Dean’s availability for upcoming meetings, any research the Dean requires and preparation of paper packs for such meetings. Minute taking will not usually be required, but may be requested from time to time in liaison with members of staff usually responsible for the minutes;
• Draft, file and send outgoing correspondence on the Dean’s behalf and process incoming correspondence;
• Support the Dean in all their working relationships including building and maintaining excellent relationships with Chapter Members and Committee Members, the Bishop’s staff and with the wider Diocese, as well as with congregation members, neighbours, commercial partners, professional advisers and other third-party organisations relating to the Dean’s work;
• Set up meetings including room set up and refreshment provision as required;
• Assist the Dean with the processing of their expenses;
• Work with the Governance & Committees Manager on Gifts Registry declarations for the Dean;
• Provide administrative support to bodies the Dean chairs, e.g. Southwark Cathedral Development Trust, the Deans Fund and other Cathedral-associated bodies;
• Update the Cathedral database in support of the Dean’s work.
• Provide administrative and practical support for Dean’s events e.g. lectures, receptions and breakfasts with local stakeholders

For the Sub-Dean

• Supporting the Sub-Dean with diary management: making appointments, arranging meetings, and scheduling preaching and other liturgical arrangements;
• Assist with inducting new parishioners: management of database, organising Welcome Evenings etc.;
• Assist with administration relating to the Cathedral’s schools: preparing the liturgical rota, filing and distribution of school clergy admissions forms;
• Other administrative support on an as needed basis

Office Administration 

• Receiving, distributing and responding to emails sent to the Cathedral’s general information email address;
• Ordering stationery, office equipment and consumables in line with the Cathedral’s approach to sustainability and ethical buying;
• Ensuring the Cathedral’s printing and franking equipment is kept fully functional, and liaising with our contractors when issues arise;
• Ensuring that the staff keep offices, reception area, print room, stationery area, staff kitchen and facilities clean, tidy and supplied;
• Co-ordinating Staff Meetings, including booking suitable space and organising refreshments for the meeting;
• Organising staff social events, outings and meals;
• Providing administrative support on Cathedral projects as and when they arise.
• Ensuring the Cathedral’s First-Aid kits are kept supplied and in date.

General Duties and Expectations

• Provide general administrative assistance in the context of a busy office;
• Support other teams on an ad hoc basis when required;

Research and Prospecting: working alongside the Chief Executive, Development Committee and the Board, you will identify and research prospective people, companies and grant-makers that could support Queer Britain.

Pipeline Management: using our CRM system, you will maintain our pipeline, ensuring records are up to date and accurate.

Cultivation: using the full resources of Queer Britain, you will create cultivation plans that may include informal meetings, tours of the museum, meeting with key members of the team, workshop visits and private dinners.

Making the ask: you will be fearless in asking people to support the museum, and will support the Chief Executive with pitching to companies and writing grant applications. 

Stewarding Supporters: you will ensure that all Queer Britain supporters understand the impact of their donation with a stewardship programm that entertains, engages and encourages renewal.

About this Internship

The Youth-Led Digital Campaigns Internship role is a twelve-month paid internship beginning in March 2026.

The Jack Petchey Internship development programme is designed for young people who are leaving further or higher education and starting out in the youth/charity sector - or young people who are looking to transfer into, or take their next career step in, the youth/charity sector.

The funding provides support to young people in London and Essex. We would therefore expect applicants to have a strong connection with London and ideally be currently living in or close to Croydon where our work is located.

Main purpose of this role:

We are looking for someone creative, confident and passionate about empowering young people. You will play a hands-on role in both the delivery and development of digital and media-based opportunities for young people, while helping to shape and deliver Reaching Higher’s youth-led digital fundraising and media strategy.

This internship will give you the chance to gain valuable experience across media, marketing, and youth work-alongside training, mentoring, and networking opportunities with other interns from youth organisations across London and Essex.

The Policy and Public Affairs team works to ensure that national laws, policies and guidance across the UK are fit-for-purpose in preventing cruelty to children. We work across the four nations of the UK. We develop and maintain the NSPCC’s positions on key public policy issues, drawing on research and policy analysis and feed in organisational insight and expertise gained through our services. We use our evidence-based positions to shape and influence national policy discussions on issues affecting child protection and manage the NSPCC’s political relations and work with governments, legislatures and stakeholders across the UK.

We focus on five key policy priorities: the child protection system and children’s social care; early years and health; child sexual abuse; online safety; and young victims and witnesses.

Job purpose

We are recruiting a Policy and Public Affairs Officer to contribute to the work of the Wales Policy and Public Affairs team in delivering real change and reform in the best interests of children.

The Policy and Public Affairs Officer will be responsible for undertaking policy work to achieve the NSPCC’s strategic goals, using their skills and experience to strengthen the NSPCC’s impact on public policy, and in doing so make a significant contribution to keeping children safe. The post holder will support the delivery of a range of policy-focused projects both within the Wales policy team, and across the wider UK policy team:

• Within the Wales team, the Officer will research and help build persuasive, evidence-based policy positions, support the NSPCC’s influencing activity as appropriate, and write consultations and impactful briefings.
