Your Role at Norwood:
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals with learning disabilities and autism to lead independent and fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:
• Guiding and supporting individuals in their day-to-day activities.
• Encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Accompanying individuals to routine appointments.
• Teaching essential life skills like budgeting, shopping, and managing bills.
• Assisting with personal care and, if required, administering medication.

Felstead Street is a CQC registered care home, which has a heavy focus on supporting customers with enduring mental health care and elderly needs. We provide 24hr high support to 24 customers both female and male. Our building is a purpose-built home on two floors, offering customers individual bedrooms and the use of shared communal facilities and gardens. The service is commissioned by East London Foundation Trust with the care contribution from London Borough of Hackney.
As a Support Worker at Felstead Street you will play an integral role in supporting our customers to making their lives interesting and enabling to manage their social, physical and emotional well being. You will support our customers with a range of activities and health support throughout the day and to live in a safe living environment. You will be part of a team which is very supportive of one another.
The successful candidate must be able to work some weekends and bank holidays as allocated. This role involves working 5 days a week. Each shift is 8 hours, 8am-4pm or 2.30pm-10.30pm, as allocated on the rota. You must be able to work 9am-5pm for 2 weeks every several weeks as required by the rota.

We have a great opportunity for people interested in working as part of an innovate women’s only service in an Assessment and Reconnection Worker role and becoming part of this exciting team achieving positive outcomes to support the women in their recovery and move on journey.
In this role you will:
Deliver support to female clients with multiple support needs who have also experienced domestic violence and VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls).
You will be carrying out comprehensive client assessments; providing clients with personalised case management support to help them be connected into specialist external services, turning assessments into a practical action plan which fully involves the client.
Working within a small staff team, you will work closely with the Case Coordinator to case work the clients, assessing new referrals, welcoming them into the service, and planning their moves on from the service to more appropriate accommodation.
You will work a rota that will involve some evening and weekend work. This role will pay unsocial hours.
About you
You will have experience of working with vulnerable people and an understanding of the needs of homeless women. Strong communication, influencing and reasoning skills are also key, as is a flair for solving problems. Other qualities include knowing how to network and build effective relationships with people at every level, and a keen interest to keep abreast of current DV and VAWG related issues, housing legislation, welfare benefit legislations and other matters relevant to successful support and move on of clients.

The Family Support Worker will work across our Young Carers and Adult Carers Service to provide support to families affected by substance misuse, through whole-family assessments and reviews. The successful candidate will ensure that adult and young carers, and their families, have access to a range of emotional and practical support appropriate to their needs.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of working within the substance misuse field and an understanding of associated health and social issues. They will preferably have experience of working with both adults, children and young people. We are seeking candidates with a professional qualification in health & social care, youth or community work, and/or direct experience of delivering family focused interventions.

About the Service
Solace provides safe refuge and move on accommodation to hundreds of women and children made homeless through domestic or sexual abuse. We run 22 refuges across London, including specialist refuge spaces for women with multiple needs. Of these, this role will involve working across three refuges in the borough of Haringey, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the Role
The primary role of a Family Support Worker is to provide effective, efficient, and supportive service to children and their mothers residing in refuge with Solace Women’s Aid. The staff member will lead on the development of a child and family-centred approach to work in the refuge. In so doing, they will:
- Develop and deliver a range of trauma-informed services to children and young people (0-17 years) and their mothers within the refuge and when they are resettled into the community.
- Ensure ongoing development of age-appropriate children’s activities.
- Ensure the completion of comprehensive assessments of family needs and risk of families, ensuring an integrated approach with children and adult services (internal and external)
- Promote ‘Integrated Working’ through internal and external mechanisms in partnership with colleagues and community partnerships.
- Coordinate the delivery of activities through session staff, volunteers, and student placements.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable children, young people, and/or families, as well as knowledge of the effects that domestic abuse can have on young people.

The Amari Project is based in Enfield and provides 2nd stage Supported Accommodation to women who have been sexually exploited, trafficked or who have exited Prostitution. Women in this Project will also receive resettlement support and may remain within the Borough of Enfield or be moved out of borough as part of planned move on.
About the Role
The resettlement Floating Support Worker will provide resettlement support to residents moving out of the Amari Project and from Pan London refuges. You will provide fortnightly case work to residents in their move on accommodation.
You will provide holistic support including tenancy sustainment support and advocacy support to establish and maintain partnership working .You will be responsible for providing data and any statistical information for monitoring returns and in collating
About You
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience of supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse, trafficking and sexual exploitation. You will be required to have an awareness of the impacts of trauma on survivors of domestic abuse.
You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plans and support them in linking with other agencies.

Housing First is a new approach to supporting the most entrenched, excluded and hard to reach service users. It focuses on finding permanent housing as quickly as possible and then addressing the issues that have contributed to an individual’s homelessness.

About the Role
Assist in the day-to-day delivery of the service, managing a small service user caseload with the overall goal of supporting these women to sustain a (new) tenancy
Provide trauma-informed, solution-focused support to service users, tailored to individual needs and aspirations, with service users being able to choose as far as possible, what, how and when support is delivered
Advocate where appropriate on behalf of service users with external agencies regarding their welfare rights, Primary Health Care needs and other issues affecting their health and well being

About You

You will provide advice and support to women who have experienced domestic abuse in a refuge setting working across two sites. We are looking for a Support Worker to work as part of a service that provides late-night and early-morning outreach for women who are sex working and supports women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

About the role
The Post Holder will work within Spires’ Women’s Service. This service is comprised of:
A dedicated nighttime outreach service to support women who are involved in street-based sex working. This includes follow up work, casework, and multi-agency working.
Centre-based support for women with complex needs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This also includes casework and supporting Spires’ Housing and Homelessness team.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Supporting a caseload of clients
· Completing one nighttime outreach shift a week (this is carried out in the Spires car)
· Supporting in the running of Spires’ women’s drop in services
· Supporting Spires’ Housing and Homelessness service where required
· Representing Spires to external stakeholders at multi-agency meetings
· Ensuring detailed and accurate records are kept of all client work.
About you
You will have previous experience of working with people exhibiting complex needs and people experiencing homelessness. Ideally you will have experiencing supporting women with some of the following support needs: substance addiction, mental health needs, domestic violence, no recourse to public funds and sex working.
You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:
· Experience of challenging appropriately and maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries.
· Networking and effectively liaising with specialist service providers or agencies in order to establish and/or improve access to services for clients.
· Sound understanding of the issues faced by women and other individuals involved in sex work.
· Understanding of the legislation around supporting the victims of Domestic Violence.
· Understanding of the effects of trauma on people and how to work in a trauma informed way.
· Good understanding of safeguarding practices in outreach work, social care and/or day centre environment.
· Good understanding of confidentiality and working with sensitive information.
