Job description

Music, it’s in our DNA. And as the largest music therapy charity in the UK, Nordoff Robbins use the power of music to enrich the lives of people affected by life limiting illness, isolation or disability.

Are you already a fundraising assistant looking to grow in your career?  Maybe you already work in events and want an opportunity to work creatively on new events and fundraising opportunities?  Do you love music and have charity beneficiaries at the heart of everything you do? Then this could be exactly the role you've been looking for.

Working as part of our hugely successful Fundraising and Events team, you will contribute to our Fundraising and Events strategy, helping the charity to reach more people in more places.  You'll administer the day to day delivery of the existing corporate and partnership events portfolio and work with the partnerships team to develop a pipeline of new events/opportunities for the Charity. You'll also be responsible for the operational and logistic delivery of specific corporate event fundraising income streams including our popular Football Tournament, our Challenge Events, our Big Busk and the Charity's Community Choirs. Working with our Partnerships Manager, you'll develop a program of activities that build a stronger supporter/corporate experience.

You'll also be responsible for working cross-organisationally and building a volunteer programme that supports the delivery of the partnerships/corporate events, main event portfolio and DIY activity.

We're looking for someone with a passion for fundraising and events, who is results orientated and able to develop strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders and colleagues.  You'll need to have strong organisational skills, be willing to work creatively as part of a team and have clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.  In return we offer a generous 31 days annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, cycle to work scheme and a range of learning and development opportunities.
