About the role

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our messaging, supporting our fundraising efforts, and leading our marketing strategy to position the charity as a trusted provider of financial and wellbeing support for those most in need, and as a signposting and early intervention resource for the wider community we support.
As our Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our marketing objectives and brand identity, while creating and managing an editorial calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery across all channels. You will craft high-quality, engaging, and persuasive copy for various platforms, including websites, reports, email campaigns, and print materials.
Collaborating in cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimise content and strategies.

Stepping Stones exists to improve the lives of adults with learning disabilities. ABOUT THE CHARITY
Stepping Stones is a thriving, longstanding and highly valued community organisation. We have delivered activities for over 30 years and our weekly classes are an important part of the lives of people who attend.
Our main delivery is a timetable of up to 14 weekly classes from our base in a multipurpose community centre. We also have activities off site including gardening at a local allotment and music and art classes at a day centre and residential home. Each week over 100 people benefit from our activities.

The role:

· Proactively approach and build new relationships with corporates, securing and attending meetings.

Person Specification:

The role of Supporter Care Manager is a vital role in our delivery of fundraising services to our client and is a new role created by splitting our current Database & Supporter Care Manager role into two separate roles. This role will focus on the quality of our donor journey, associated communications and the accuracy of our reporting in conjunction with our client’s Finance team.
The Supporter Care Manager will ensure that all processes for recording and thanking donations is accurate, timely and meets regulatory and reporting requirements, whilst providing a friendly and supportive donor experience. The Bike Project is fortunate to be supported by a wide range of Trusts & Foundations, Major Donors and Corporates as well as many committed members of the public. In 2023, we took the decision to consolidate and bring in-house our fundraising activity. Major Gifts Manager, International Fundraising
The Major Gifts Manager, International Fundraising will support PETA’s global programmes by securing vital funding from new and existing supporters. This role will advance the fundraising potential of PETA France and PETA Netherlands and work closely with existing teams within the UK and Germany.
Position Objective:
To solicit major gifts (£5,000 and above) to support PETA’s international programmes and campaigns.
To build and advance relationships with PETA entities’ major donors and prospects.

Salary:
£38,000 - £43,000
Reports to:
Assistant Director, International Fundraising
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategy for international for major gifts fundraising
- Manage and maintain a portfolio major gift donors and prospects, across PETA international entities
- Effectively steward donors and prospects
- Develop personal engagement plans for donors, using knowledge and insights to plan appropriate communications
- Solicit major financial contributions from targeted donors
- Manage a pipeline of prospects, creating engaging opportunities for donors to increase their giving to a higher level
- Acknowledge, thank and recognise donors appropriate to their level of support, and ensure restricted gifts are appropriately allocated
- Maintain accurate records on PETA entities’ databases with relevant information and research
- Work with the prospect researcher to obtain useful information, helping make appropriate asks
- Participate in budgeting process
- Monitor donors’ motivations and interests – keeping accurate and up to date records in the database
- Develop cultivation events within regional hotspots throughout PETA entities
- Work collaboratively with PETA staff across PETA entities
- Maintain a clear understanding of – and the ability to articulate – PETA's objectives as well as details of specific PETA programmes
- Maintain departmental information, files, and records related to legacy estates
- Maintain and expand knowledge of relevant departmental software (e.g. ROI, ResearchPoint, Raiser's Edge, etc) in order to improve communication with donors
- Assist with the preparation and proofreading of mailings and other communications, as needed
- Work with the wider major gifts team and VP of International Fundraising on all aspects of cultivation and stewardship
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Perform and manage any other projects or duties requested by the supervisor
- Be aware of GDPR and its implementation in European territories
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of major giving fundraising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns
- Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail

As a Senior Innovation and Product Development Manager, you will lead on new fundraising product development at the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

This role will line manage two Innovation Managers.
Working arrangements
Please note this is a fixed term contract until April 2025, covering family leave.
This is a dual location role, with your working time split between your home and our London Office.

About you
As our ideal candidate, you have strong experience designing and developing new product concepts and propositions in the charity sector, managing them through discovery and prototyping, and delivering fundraising products to consumers against commercial performance indicators.
With excellent project management, communication, and organisational skills, you have experience of leading innovation cycles, agile sprint and ideation sessions, a working knowledge of agile digital delivery processes and practice, and a track record of launching brand new concepts, campaigns, and products.

Now we’re looking for a confident, creative, and proactive Development Manager to join our small but dynamic Kingston CF family and develop and manage our fundraising development programme for both corporate and individual giving. This role is the perfect fit for someone with entrepreneurial flair looking to make a real difference - both by helping to raise money for the Foundation’s vital work, and by ensuring our supporters feel valued and supported.
You’ll have innovative ideas to help us to secure new partnerships and nurture new and existing relationships to mobilise local giving. As an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of securing major gifts or corporate partnerships at the four figure level, you’ll have a can-do attitude and a capability for developing strong networks and contacts.

Experience
- At least three years of proven successful experience in major gifts or corporate partnerships fundraising of four figures or more.
- Proven ability to manage and develop diverse relationships.
- Excellent written and oral English language communication skills.
- Experience in writing and delivering persuasive copy for supporters.
- Thorough understanding of data protection and, specifically, UK GDPR requirements pertaining to fundraising and sponsorship work.
- Full understanding of fundraising guidelines the code of fundraising practice.
- Experience of using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
Essential skills
- Have excellent IT skills, including Office 365 / Excel.

As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will manage and grow our relationships with partners and donors from the private sector, who support our work through donations, employee fundraising and volunteering activities.
The successful candidate will thrive on cultivating and executing a fantastic experience for our corporate partners, finding opportunities to maximise their engagement and deliver fundraised income targets. The role will focus on managing and growing our existing relationships.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the charity’s relationships with a portfolio of corporate partners

Ensure impactful relationships with challenge event providers and other fundraising products, taking responsibility for selling places in to partners to support fundraising and engagement.

Meet income targets of minimum c. £500k pa.

Ensure the charity complies with the fundraising regulator code of practice and fundraising compliance legislation.

Track and report on income, working with Finance as needed

Represent The Childhood Trust at events, visits and meetings

The skills we are looking for:
- Excellent communication and social skills to communicate with different audiences, including at Senior level
- Partnership management experience, ideally in a corporate enviroment
- A passion to support children living in poverty and the mission of the Childhood Trust
- Track record in securing income
- Great presentation and negotiation skills
- A proven ability to establish long-term relationships with partners and businesses
- Experience and ability to lead projects and manage project groups.
- Ability to spot opportunities, identify partners' needs and drivers and match these with the stretegic priorities of the Childhood Trust.
- Ability to work autonomously and have an appetite for continuous improvement.
