As the Peer to Peer Groupwork Facilitator you will set up, lead and deliver a year-long peer to peer group programme for bereaved families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child.
The groupwork is based on a programme led by Harvard University and Boston’s Children’s hospital and has structured sessions drawing upon psychological model of CBT, although the sessions are not therapeutic. Each session has a theme and incorporates education, guidance and support.
You will establish and deliver a new peer online support group, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery and creating a safe and welcoming space for bereaved families.
Outside the group sessions you will be responsible for managing the administration and evaluation of the service, including and collection of questionnaires and feedback required for reporting purposes and supporting members with any signposting requirements processing referrals, carrying out eligibility screening, monitoring the waiting list and inputting and keeping all database member and service records up to date.
It is a key time to be joining the charity and helping us to continue to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families. The charity has been hugely successful, but the work is far from done. Exams Assistant

As Exams Assistant you will support the day to day running of the examinations with a particular focus on question bank management. You will be working with the Examinations Team and examiners across all specialties. This will include supporting examiner panels to organise and run question writing sessions and ensuring that question banks remain up to date.
You will also have a number of other examination-related duties, including – but not limited to – processing applications, invigilating at examination and collating examination results.

About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do. Symptoms can include haemorrhages, seizures and other neurological problems. Treatment involves 'wait and see', neurosurgery or stereotactic radiosurgery; with no medications currently available.

About the roles: The Member Support Assistant is responsible for assisting our Volunteer Manager with administration relating to the support of the charity’s 4,000 members and volunteers. The role involves supporting the membership and volunteering processes, ensuring all admin is accurate and up to date. Over time the post-holder will be expected to build a good working knowledge of members and volunteers. The Events and Office Assistant is responsible for assisting the Charity Manager with the administration of events alongside some general office activities for the charity. Share is a registered charity and a centre for training and wellbeing. We provide a range of programmes helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and other support needs become more happy, healthy and independent. You’ll help people build the life skills they need to make positive long term changes. You’ll support our students in small sessions providing individualised attention to students, both at our training centres and out in the community. You’ll help our students achieve their personal objectives and keep learning in an engaging, fun and stimulating way.
Main responsibilities
- You’ll work flexibly to support students to engage in a variety of projects and classes
- You’ll be responsible for completing daily administrative tasks including recording student learning and maintaining wellbeing records
- You’ll provide flexible delivery support, delivering whole or part sessions as and when needed
- You’ll independently set up, plan and lead free time activities
Who we’re looking for
- You’ll have experience working within social care and providing services directly to adult with learning disabilities and autism (paid or unpaid)
- You’ll demonstrate experience in leading classes, project activities and/or sessions without support
- You’re an excellent communicator, someone who listens with great patience and empathy
- You’re able to inspire trust and confidence, behaving with integrity and honesty at all times
- Most importantly, you share our strong commitment to the inclusion of disabled people in society, you believe in equality for all

We are looking for an Assistant Head of Public Engagement (Brand and Marketing) to join our Public Engagement team. This team aims to grow income from the general public to support our vital homelessness services, with activity spanning all stage of the supporter journey through awareness, engagement, donating and loyalty.
St Mungo’s is a leading homelessness charity, and we want to grow public awareness of our work. The Assistant Head of Public Engagement (Brand and Marketing) will lead work to drive increased awareness of St Mungo’s, supporting growth in fundraising income from the general public.
This role will be vital in driving public awareness and engagement with St Mungo’s and our work, to end homelessness and rebuild lives. In this role you will:
- Develop and implement a strategy to drive brand growth, to support an annual income target of £8.5m in Public Engagement, and year on year income growth across fundraising teams.
- Lead the Brand and Marketing team to develop and deliver brand marketing campaigns, strategy and content for social media and owned channels, brand research and overall brand execution across Fundraising and Communications.
- Be responsible for the execution of visual brand and tone of voice across public communications.
This is an exciting time to join our team, building on a recent rebrand, a new brand marketing campaign and a newly established programme of brand research and impact monitoring. The role reports to the Head of Public Engagement and sits within the Fundraising and Communications directorate.
