About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Campaigns, and working closely with your fellow Campaigns Managers and the wider campaigns team and legal teams, we are looking for someone to design, develop and run impactful and engaging legal campaigns at Good Law Project. 

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with a passion for the work of Good Law Project who wants to use their campaigning background to help increase our impact, our income and our supporter growth and engagement throughout our legal campaigns. We have ambitious goals and are looking for somebody who brings determination, and the ability to design and deliver legal campaigns in a dynamic and fast paced environment. We are looking for an International Programme Manager to oversee Students’ Union UCL’s cultural celebrations programme, including expanding and developing our annual flagship International Festival. About the role:

Kinship is in our third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We are looking for a new Associate Director of Peer Support and Community to build and develop our model and to take the team to the next phase of growth and impact.

Your first priority will be to oversee delivery of the Department for Education national Peer Support Service contract in England. You will lead the development of our hub and spoke model, with an enhanced offer of national resources and support together with a continued focus on on-the-ground support for kinship carers to set up and sustain a network of peer support groups. You will ensure all members of the team have clarity and are empowered to meet new targets and ways of working.

The role will also lead on the strategic development of peer support approaches in Wales (for which we are seeking funding), ensuring innovation and good practice is shared across the nations.

Kinship peer support groups are powerful levers for change in local, regional and national ecosystems. Your team will ensure that every kinship carer in England and Wales has access to a peer support group, or support to set up and create their own. The team will be purposeful about offering developmental support to all kinship peer support groups, including independent groups, ensuring they remain or become sustainable. And that they have resources, training and peer networks to support this.

Reflecting our strategic focus on developing our Kinship Community of more than 10,000 kinship carers across England and Wales, you will lead a new community strategy, co-ordinating the development of opportunities for community connection and community power. This will include taking leadership for developing the Kinship model of community engagement and integrating across all our ‘in person’ and digital services and activities.

You will ensure a collaborative approach with services, alignment with national and local campaigning activity, and work closely with marketing and communications colleagues to support kinship carer reach and engagement with our community offer.

We’re taking an integrated approach to our services, so you’ll collaborate well across teams to ensure that support groups and their leaders have easy access to high quality advice, information and training. The team will need to work closely with colleagues delivering our new training and support contract, funded by the Department for Education.

Key responsibilities include:

• Innovation of the Peer Support Service.

• Develop and rollout peer support and community strategy and operational plan. 

• Implement monitoring and evaluation and impact tools for timely and accurate reporting of activity and engagement.

The Achieving Potential programme at SHP supports SHP clients with options and opportunities to build their confidence, learn new skills and try new things. We are recruiting to an exciting new post within our team, having recently secured funding to take forward our digital inclusion offer.

People experiencing homelessness are often from the most socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and are digitally excluded. Digital access is crucial for peoples’ independence – e.g. accessing Universal Credit or GPs, but it’s also fundamental in addressing isolation and loneliness. Feeling connected to others can be the difference between someone continuing their journey out of homelessness or falling back into drug-use due to isolation/loneliness – we want to break the vicious cycle between digital and social exclusion.  

As the Digital Inclusion Project Coordinator, your objectives will be to spearhead initiatives aimed at increasing digital inclusion within SHP’s diverse communities. This multifaceted role requires a blend of strategic planning, community engagement, technological proficiency, and environmental stewardship. Purpose of the role

The Community and Participation Manager will be a key member of NAE’s Neighbourhood’s team, responsible for ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of a wide range of community projects and events that engage and inspire our local communities (predominantly from the Global Ethnic Majority). Based from within NAE’s purpose built creative space, in the heart of one of Nottingham’s most diverse areas - Hyson Green, the post holder will work with local community partners, schools and other key stakeholders to ensure the community programme is representative of the diverse voices from our local communities and has their involvement through all that we do.

Main duties of the role

With strategic oversight from the Head of Neighbourhood develop and deliver a diverse range of activity with and for the community including (but not limited to) workshops, festivals, conferences, and functions, ensuring they are aligned with NAE’s overall vision, goals and budget.

Supporting the Head of Neighbourhoods to identify and secure external funding opportunities, sponsorships, and partnerships to support the events when required.

Act as lead contact with key stakeholders, including community groups, schools, partners, citizen panels, artists, vendors, and local authorities, to ensure smooth collaboration and communication.

Support the Comms team to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to raise awareness of projects and events with a focus on attracting diverse audiences.

Manage budgets and financial reporting for community projects, ensuring that expenses are within budget and that financial records are accurate and up to date. In line with the overarching Neighbourhoods strategy, develop project plans, budgets, and timelines and maintain accurate records.

Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and obtain necessary permits and licenses.

Lead project staff (including contracting and acting as project manager and day to day contact for them) which will consist of freelancers, contractors, and volunteers.

Track progress, address issues, and produce reports and evaluations for internal and external stakeholders, including NAE’s Senior Management Team and local community leaders.

 The Veterans’ Outreach Officer will support  the Head of Veterans’ Outreach in developing and managing the programme of activities encouraging engagement and social interaction between Chelsea Pensioners and other service veterans thereby helping to alleviate the social isolation and loneliness felt by many older veterans. Responsibilities will include promoting the programme within veterans' networks and finding innovative ways to connect with veterans; the management of themed events both at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and further afield as we seek to expand nationwide. It’s an exciting time to join War Child as they have just launched their new Alliance initiative. The War Child Alliance brings together the five War Child fundraising members (in the Netherlands, UK, Germany and Sweden, plus Children in Conflict in the US), with 14 programme members, based in and around conflict-affected areas across the world and coordinated by a new international body: the War Child Alliance Foundation. Through the Alliance they are integrating programme activities under one umbrella – allowing War Child to combine strengths and pool resources – all with the aim to multiply impact for conflict-affected children.

As part of the Trusts and Institutional funding team of four you’ll work alongside the Head of Trusts and Institutional, Trusts Manager, Trusts Executive and the new Trusts and Institutional Funding Executive. The main task of the Institutional Funding Lead is to secure funding from UK-based institutional donors, with a primary focus on the FCDO.

You will drive forward dynamic and proactive engagement strategies directly with UK-based institutional donors and indirectly through consortia, as well as developing and supporting organisational positioning for contracts and grants.

This role will introduce innovative and agile funding approaches and models to enhance War Child UK’s competitiveness in a complex donor environment. You’ll achieve this by working closely with the War Child Alliance Foundation to research and analyse opportunities, enhance and support donor engagement plans, and drive forward engagement opportunities to maximise and secure funding.

About the role

• Develop and strengthen a network of contacts with relevant representatives from UK institutional donors and partners, primarily FCDO, institutional foundations and INGOs, to enable consortia to develop and grow.
• Identify funding needs within War Child and match them with institutional funding opportunities by engaging with country teams, the regional teams and the Alliance institutional funding coordination.
• Lead the co-creation, coordination, and design of complex and challenging proposals for institutional funding opportunities, including multi-country opportunities or large-scale consortium bids.
• Line manage the new Trusts and Institutional Funding Executive providing professional development and support.

About you

• Experience of co-creating, leading, and coordinating complex proposal development processes, ideally for relevant donors including FCDO and humanitarian pooled funds.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, with an up-to-date knowledge of relevant donors including FCDO, and humanitarian pooled funds.
• Experience in building networks, partnerships, and consortia to maximise programme impact and funding opportunities.
• Line management or leadership experience.

The Role

Based either at our Head Office in Basingstoke, Hampshire, remotely or hybrid, you will lead and manage the development and delivery of income growth from corporate partnerships.

In this fast-paced and exciting role, you’ll be proactively identifying and securing new partnerships, whilst nurturing and maintaining existing relationships. Working with the wider engagement and fundraising team, you will ensure donors receive the best experience and an integrated and joined up fundraising plan is delivered.

Transaid is an international development organisation working to transform lives through safe, available and sustainable transport. As one of the chosen charities of the transport and logistics industry, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, creative and ambitious self-starter to shape and grow Transaid’s well established corporate partnership scheme. Responsible for a portfolio of 32 corporate partners, currently contributing c. 40% of Transaid’s fundraising income, you will lead on maintaining and developing these critical relationships whilst creating and implementing new engagement opportunities.

January 2024 marked the beginning of a new organisational strategy for Transaid, with strategic partnerships (with companies both in the UK and globally) a significant part of the agenda. As well as looking to strengthen existing relationships, business development is a core part of this role. International Relationship Manager

Role purpose

ShelterBox has a growing network of international supporters who connect with the organisation through our international affiliates - independent charities in their own countries. Affiliates’ supporter growth and engagement activities are enabled by this role with further support from other UK-based teams, including fundraising, brand, content and comms.

ShelterBox has 13 affiliates who are directly helping the organisation achieve one of our strategic objectives of international diversified funding. Affiliates share our mission and consequently raise awareness and funding to support the organisation. Collectively they contribute greatly to engaging with and a global community of supporters. We raise a significant proportion of ShelterBox’s total income through our affiliate network, and from other international donors in countries beyond our affiliates. 

 The purpose of the Interim International Giving Manager role is to support the management of affiliate relationships with ShelterBox by providing a focal point for day-to-day dialogue; to share information and resources effectively across the network; and to develop collaborative working relationships which enhance our supporter experience.  

This role will empower the international network by providing materials, information and content which is key to achieving a consistent brand and fundraising success. One of the ways that this role will help to bring this community together is with a series of engagements throughout the year, not least of which is the annual International Fundraising Conference attended by key personnel from the fundraising network, strategic partnerships and UK staff.

Who are we looking for?

ShelterBox is seeking an inspiring and proactive relationship builder who can take a leading role in the International Giving team. They will be the focal point for providing support to many of our international fundraising staff and volunteers, with a high level of attention to detail and supporter-centric best practice. They should be confident in managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with a broad set of objectives associated with fundraising and communications. They be the line manager for other members of the team who have shared responsibility for international supporter growth and engagement.

 Duties include but are not limited to:

• Leading key relationships with affiliate staff and volunteers to execute the strategy for growing diversified international income.
• Line management of the International Giving Executive role to deliver international supporter communications and volunteer engagement. Nurturing their development.
• Supporting delivery of the international Rotary partnership strategy, in collaboration with the Rotary Partnership Manager, by bringing together international fundraisers at key moments in the annual calendar.
• Communicating clear guidance on shared global fundraising priorities, drawing on data and insight to optimise results.
• Working collaboratively with affiliates to contribute to a suite of refreshed brand communication materials.
• Managing the translation of key communications (including subtitles for videos produced by B&C) into languages required by affiliates.
• Supporting enhanced communications with affiliates during times of major disaster
• Proactively identifying growth opportunities and promoting these across the international network
• Facilitating consistent application of the joint ShelterBox and Rotary brand guidelines.
• Leading the design and delivery of the annual International Fundraising Conference.
• Travelling internationally to fundraising events or meetings with affiliates
• Maintaining an up-to-date contact list for affiliates together with records of reports, meetings and plans
• Maintaining an up-to-date record of correspondence, meeting minutes and actions taken
• Manage financial processes related to international income including annual budget-setting and quarterly reforecasting.
• Deliver data for reporting on the agreed set of financial and non-financial KPIs.
• Liaising with Finance to facilitate the receipt of grants from Affiliates and any other fund transfers.
• Liaising with Procurement to facilitate the planning of any expenditure and/or the process through which purchases are made.
• Other administrative duties that may be required by the team from time to time.
