The Role:

As our Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing our portfolio of corporate partners and advertisers. Your efforts will help ACEVO generate about 45% of our income, ensuring we continue to support and inspire civil society leaders. You'll be responsible for nurturing existing relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving engagement through partnerships, event sponsorships, and advertising.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Corporate Partnerships

• Maintain and nurture a portfolio of corporate relationships and advertisers.
• Build strong relationships with commercial organisations through extensive phone work and face-to-face meetings.
• Provide relevant engagement opportunities to partners in line with their level of investment.
• Increase engagement, activity, and financial contributions from existing partners.
• Regularly report to partners on ACEVO activities, including membership, policy, and corporate partner engagement.
• Convert in-bound job advertising enquiries into long-term advertisers.
• Produce member newsletters promoting corporate partner services and ACEVO's job services.
• Identify and support corporate partner venues, managing related admin with the events team.
• Represent ACEVO professionally at internal and external events.
• Manage and drive revenue to ACEVO Jobs, our recruitment advertising platform.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in corporate partnerships, account management, or new business development.
• Strong relationship-building skills and confidence.
• Proficiency in CRM systems; Salesforce experience is desirable.

What would we like…?

Are you a part-qualified Accountant or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification? We're looking for someone with a firm understanding of accountancy processes and procedures to join the team as Assistant Management Accountant on a 12-month FTC basis.

The Assistant Management Accountant will support and work closely alongside the Management Accountant during the month end process, forecast, budget cycles and other key points during the year.  You'll contribute to team-wide projects and systems improvements and help ensure the Finance team are providing accurate and timely reports for the organisation.

It's an exciting time to join Ambition Institute,  as we have grown rapidly in recent years, which in turn has increased the volume and complexity of work in the Finance Team.  This includes the creation of a new subsidiary which goes live in September 2024.

Please note - this is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will be expected to attend the London office 1 day a week. 

We would like you to:

• Support the Head of Finance Business Partnering by assisting with the production and ongoing monthly management accounts using Business Central  (Microsoft Dynamics) and Jet Reporting and potentially Power BI
•  Meet with stakeholders to review reports and resolve anomalies and identify adjustments
• Assist budget holders and support them in the production of the budget and reforecasts
• Undertake Finance related project work from time to time.  For example; process improvements

Working in a hybrid way, you’ll be attached to our London office and will report to the Head of Finance Business Partnering.  In line with our current ways of working, you’ll be expected to be in the office at least 1 day a week, in addition to team days and this may be reviewed by Ambition. 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

To succeed in this role you must be a part qualified accountant or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification. You'll have budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience with an ability to analyse data sets and produce insightful information. You'll also possess strong communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.

Our GOF team sits within the larger operations function under the Director of Finance & Operations. The team is responsible for managing Elrha's financial planning, management and reporting; and leads on the operational aspects of grant management.

As our new Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our programmes and activities run smoothly and efficiently. Supporting the Head of GOF, you will complete financial activities and reports, manage statutory and project audits plus develop (and improve) financial management processes. 

You will be analytical, resourceful and have strong technical accounting, financial management and reporting experience. It is essential that you are either a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience.

• Experience in the financial management of grants from institutional donors within the International Aid Sector.

We are looking for someone who is experienced in project management and implementation of ambitious supporter retention and stewardship programmes to maximize income generation.  We are looking for someone who is creative, ambitious, and passionate about ensuring an excellent supporter experience, to help us drive income growth. CAFOD’s Major Donor Executive will play a key role in delivering our fundraising programme. They will help develop and implement operational plans, manage a portfolio of existing donors and work to identify prospective new donors and their networks. They will work alongside a collaborative and talented team of fundraising professionals who support and encourage each other to reach their fundraising and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Donor relationship management 

• Develop lasting relationships with existing donors and new prospects, building and managing a portfolio of donors giving £5,000 upwards

• With the Philanthropy Manager and Major Donor Team, devise and implement online and offline communication plans with a clear focus on securing funds for CAFOD’s core programmes 

• Steward donors effectively, to ensure satisfaction and long-term commitment. Communicate, thank and report back on the work of CAFOD using donors preferred channels, ensuring the highest standards of donor care 

• Ensure systematic data input and management so that key information, donor interactions and communications are appropriately recorded  in line with organisational systems and processes, and in compliance with GDPR and fundraising best practice 

• Work with the Philanthropy Manager, the Research and Information Team, Senior Management colleagues and Trustees to carry out donor research, identify new prospects and grow the pipeline of donors. 

• As part of the team’s wider work, contribute to (and at times lead on) hosting cultivation and stewardship events – including planning event logistics; sending and tracking invitations; hosting and speaking at events; co-ordinating follow-up and completing evaluations 

 Contribute to Major Donor strategy, plans and income targets 

• Contribute to the development of team annual plans and income forecasts 

• Maintain focus on your own and teams’ income and other KPIs 

• Monitor your portfolio, prepare required analysis for monthly and quarterly reports and regular income forecasting exercises

About you

We are in search of a candidate with expert major donor knowledge and a proven track record in donor management and fundraising. You will have experience soliciting five and ideally six-figure donations and have the ability to develop compelling appeals to raise funds for CAFOD’s core programmes. Additionally, you will comprehensively understand the significance of prospect research and portfolio management. You will have excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence, enabling you to foster strong relationships with donors and work colleagues.

• Proven experience of managing major gift relationships at five-figure giving level 

• Experience of implementing donor cultivation and stewardship plans – including online and offline appeals, tailored approaches and feedback communications; face-to-face meetings; event management

As CTA's Business Development Manager, your role involves increasing the uptake of MiDAS training and growing CTA membership. To do this you will need to have/develop an in-depth knowledge of the sector, be able to conduct your own research, develop relationships with our key stakeholders, and track performance metrics.

Responsibilities

Promoting CTA services, increasing uptake, and retention.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement to retain our existing membership.
• Develop and foster relationships with local authorities, umbrella organisations, charities, voluntary organisations and other stakeholders across the UK to promote CTA membership offerings.
• This will include creating a promotional package for CTA membership to be delivered to organisations across the UK.

The Baobab Centre is a non-residential therapeutic community that supports young asylum seekers and refugees who have experienced human rights abuses and have sought asylum in the UK as unaccompanied minors. Our two focus areas are rehabilitation and justice.

This is a unique oppertunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to progress further in their career, with the freedom to creatively enhance and develop the fundraising strategy of an impactful community-based charity.

As Senior Fundraising Lead you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will lead on the development of fundraising at Baobab, exploring new avenues for funding, as well as nurturing and growing existing fundraising relationships. You will be responsible for strategising and carrying out a successful program of fundraising from small, medium and large charitable trusts and foundations to an agreed annual fundraising target. You will also assist in delivering Baobab’s individual major donor programme, helping to set up and deliver communications and events related to this income stream. You will play a central role and work closely with our operations team, as well as recieving expert monthly mentoring from a senoir fundraising consultant. 

This role is for 4 or 5 days per week depending on your preference, it will include Fridays which is when staff meetings are held.
