Working with agencies, including a digital mobilisation agency, The Senior Individual Giving Officer will be responsible for leading growing our individual donor and supporter base and delivering an excellent supporter experience.   

You’ll need to be a digital native with experience in building digital-focused approached to supporter acquisition and development.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Individual Giving Manager to join the Fundraising team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, for 12 months. This role is critical for the success of our income generation activities and acquisition of new supporters.

We are looking for a target driven team player who will skilfully and tactfully manage a variety of stakeholder relationships, including our face-to-face agency partners and volunteers. This is an exciting time to join the team as we look to build on successful growth of existing supporter acquisition initiatives. 

About the team 

This role sits within the Fundraising, Marketing & Communications team. Reporting to the Head of Supporter Engagement, you will also work collaboratively with the Individual Giving Manager – Donor Development, Individual Giving Officer, Supporter Care Co-ordinator, and the Events team. You will also work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including our Branch Network and Regional Hubs to connect with new supporters across the UK and maximise opportunities.

About you 

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of:

• Experience of developing and running successful individual giving programmes to recruit new donors. 
• Experience of managing external relationships at all levels, for example with suppliers, agencies, including effective negotiation on costs and contracts. 
• Experience of managing face-to-face fundraising programme. 
• Experience of lottery fundraising. 
• Experience of working with a supporter database.
• Numerical skills and ability to use Excel and/or PowerBI for tracking, reporting and analysis.

In this role, you will play a vital part in the RCOG’s mission to improve the lives of women and girls around the world, through the delivery of creative communications campaigns and high-impact media stories. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will line manage our Senior Media and Communications Officer and work closely with colleagues in our policy, public affairs and marketing teams to help ensure the College’s external affairs work is integrated, coherent and impactful.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of our annual media and communications plan, including priority campaigns in partnership with marketing, policy and public affairs colleagues
• Oversee our busy press office, ensuring we maintain strong media relations and are achieving high impact coverage on College priorities
• Deliver proactive external communications to promote awareness and impact of RCOG programmes, projects and products
• Ensure we are effectively using our social media and digital channels to listen, engage and influence, including production of videos, podcasts and webinars, etc.

The Role

The PR Manager plays a central role, working closely with the Head of Media to manage the public relations function of the charity. You will be responsible for helping to develop and execute prominent and high impact national and regional media campaigns, to help people better understand the mission and take action to support it.

Your main duties and responsibilities include:

· Generate regular, positive, proactive media coverage

· Proactively sell stories into the media as well as react to incoming enquiries

About Pancreatic Cancer Action:

Pancreatic Cancer Action (PCA) was founded in 2010 by a rare survivor of the disease. We are a small, creative and passionate team committed to improving early diagnosis and saving lives. In August 2020, Pancreatic Cancer Action merged with Pancreatic Cancer Scotland making our team stronger than ever. 

Pancreatic cancer has only a 7% survival rate and this figure has not improved significantly for over 50 years. Despite it being the 5th biggest cancer killer in the UK, pancreatic cancer receives only 3% of overall research funding. 

With a strong focus on early diagnosis, it is Pancreatic Cancer Action’s aim to improve survival rates through raising awareness, medical education, improved patient information and by funding research specifically into the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Simply put, we want more people diagnosed in time for surgery, currently the only potential for a cure.

Main responsibilities:  

• Develop and grow the annual programme of fundraising events such as the London Marathon and Great North Run.
• Grow and steward a pipeline of new and existing community and events audiences and fundraising opportunities with a particular focus on England. Ensuring to always maintain the highest quality supporter journey.
• Manage the delivery of the virtual challenge events. Add insight and support the annual Pancreatic Awareness Month Campaign and help to further develop Pyjama’s for Pan Can to new audiences.

Our Education Programmes are focused on engaging primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK to take part in our programmes and ensure LGBT+ young people can thrive. Summary of Role:

Join Muslim Aid as the Director of Operations to steer our strategic alignment and operational excellence across global initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with senior directors, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our International Programmes, Income Generation and Marketing departments. About the Role:

About You:

1. Proven experience in a leadership role within the non-profit sector, preferably in an international context.
2. Experience in overseeing programmatic and income generation activities, demonstrating the ability to integrate these functions effectively.
3. Proven experience in successfully raising funds from diverse income streams such as grants, donations, sponsorships, events, and partnerships.
4. Experience in managing diverse teams and complex projects across multiple countries and contexts.
5. Proven experience in change management and driving organisational development initiatives.
6. Proven financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will bring:

• Extensive Legacy & In Memory fundraising experience with a minimum of two years at manager level
• A track record of delivering innovation in generating income from Legacies
• Experience of planning, implementing and monitoring large budgets to agreed deadlines
• Experience of leading, inspiring and empowering colleagues to promote legacies and deliver excellent results
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral with the proven ability to communicate with persuasion and credibility
• Excellent Marketing skills to deliver growth from consumer marketing across multiple mediums including digital
• Experience of managing and motivating advertising/marketing agencies to deliver exceptional results
• The ability to analyse data and produce detailed reporting on campaigns and performance
• A thorough understanding of the Legacy Administration process and ILM standards

Purpose of the Post

London's Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) has joined forces with Redthread and Catch22 to support young Londoners aged 16-30 to gain skills, qualifications, and employment in the digital and surrounding sectors.

The youth Mentor will be working within local communities to support programme users to progress into apprenticeships, employment, education, and training opportunities.

In this role we are looking for a Youth Mentor to provide tailored career guidance and occasionally deliver facilitated employability workshops to those enrolled on the programme. We want someone who is ready to champion the rights and needs of those facing barriers to work, and is committed to delivering the best they can, for the people on the programme

You will manage a caseload of service users and develop bespoke plans to support these individuals throughout their journey towards progression. It would be beneficial to have an awareness of the digital or technical sectors and/or apprenticeships.

You will immerse yourself in a targeted location and be responsible for engaging a range of referral partners to attract targeted young people onto the programme.
