Battersea is undertaking a transformational data strategy programme (known as Launchpad) aiming to transform how we collect, store and use information and data about our animals and supporters. This newly created role will work with key stakeholders across the charity to drive transformation and deliver the desired business outcomes and benefits relating to Launchpad, and be responsible for leading and executing the people and culture workstreams and other strategic change initiatives to support interconnected projects to achieve successful implementation and benefits realisation of this programme.

As Digital Fundraising Executive, you will manage specific digital campaigns to drive supporter acquisition, engagement, retention, and income. Role Purpose
The Community Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover) role will be a critical piece of our Community Programmes team, which provides support to founders at every stage of their startup journey. The Community Programme offering includes a roster of events including panels, masterclasses and workshops, as well as mentoring and coaching opportunities, and peer-to-peer engagement opportunities. - Maintain the community engagement strategy for enhanced engagement between founders and a more cohesive founder journey across all stages

- Helping founders to widen their networks and facilitate connections that can provide critical support and direction via our graduate community platform

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting role to lead on Safe Ground's programme delivery, including content creation and producing, with a strategic direction!
SIG Safe Ground is an award-winning charity which delivers high-quality, group work interventions to people in prison and community settings.
Our arts-based therapeutic group work focuses on relationships and identity, particularly in reclaiming and reframing imposed identities while offering access to new perspectives, creating opportunities for discussion and debate, and inviting participants to take risks, experiencing themselves and each other in new ways.
You will report to the Head of Criminal Justice Services and line manage the programmes coordinator, as well as work closely with our services based within HMP Lowdham Grange and HMP Altcourse. You will lead on the development of new creative work, identifying gaps and opportunities, working alongside various teams to open new business opportunities to secure funding, and facilitate the programmes we deliver, mainly in prisons and community settings. We are looking for someone to bring a new creative outlook, able to be agile and think of new ways to promote Safe Ground, and develop our resources, this could include delivering theatre productions, films, and podcasts.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9 - 5 although you may need to work outside these hours as required. The role will be hybrid, working from home, our central office in Islington, and able to visit various sites across London, Nottingham, Liverpool, and additional locations as required.
Please note: This role will include the need to undertake additional prison vetting as part of the onboarding process as occasional service delivery in prisons forms part of this position.

PROGRAMME DELIVERY

What we are looking for:

This is an exciting opportunity to help CfD improve our communications, and to support the Deaf Community and hard of hearing people throughout Bristol with managing and sharing their information. You will work with Deaf and hard of hearing people by providing the training, tools, and resources to enable them to create their own information materials that can be shared with the community.
You will be responsible for developing and uploading website content, creating marketing material, use of social media and other communications platforms to help deliver the aims of our Community Hub project and to increase our community engagement and profile. You will also lead on commissioning a redesign of our website.

You'll be developing and implementing tailored strategies and plans that align with the organisational strategy, purpose and values.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be influencing and partnering with teams across the People directorate such as Organisational Development, Talent Acquisition and People Business Partners to enhance our recruitment and retention strategies. You'll build relationships across other functions to foster a culture of inclusion and promote a diverse workforce, including identifying opportunities to implement ADI best practice and introducing potential partnerships with external organisations. You'll work closely in partnership with our 5 Networks and Trade Unions.
You'll be a role model for our values and be a subject matter expert, ready to challenge behaviour and develop activities to promote ADI excellence.
Who you are:
To be successful in this role, you'll be passionate about promoting ADI and have extensive experience in managing related change initiatives within an organisation. This includes designing and developing ADI programs, initiatives and coaching leaders.
You'll have an extensive understanding and awareness of ADI issues and barriers, experience in aligning ADI with recruitment, retention and inclusion of employees and volunteers. You'll be confident in your analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledgeable around industry best practice, anti-discriminatory approaches and law/regulations related to accessibility, diversity, equality and inclusion.
You'll be a good communicator, inspiring and building trust with various levels of colleagues and stakeholders including Executive Teams, Networks, Unions, varying directorates and external partners. You'll also be comfortable in managing and inspiring your own team and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).

Working in the People and Culture team and reporting to the Head of People and Culture, the Senior People Partner will be responsible for leading and managing a team, within the remit of employee relations, that delivers a high quality, inclusive, problem-solving, and people-focussed HR service to all levels of management and staff. The Senior People Partner’s role is to manage, supervise and support employee relations, employee wellbeing, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, overseeing the employee life cycle. They will also advise and coach the Talent Acquisition and Volunteer team on volunteer related cases using RMG policies.
Key responsibilities involve managing a direct caseload of complex employee relations cases, including leading on liaison with ACAS, external investigators, and legal advisors, and preparing for and attending Employment Tribunals. Further core objectives include leading the drafting of new/revisions to people policies, consultation and negotiation with relevant stakeholders, and the communication and embedding of new/revised practices across the workforce. The Senior People Partner will further build and maintain effective working relationships with the senior leadership team, acting as an expert strategic adviser on a range of employee relations matters and as a point of escalation for employee relations enquiries emerging from other teams, actively coaching, supporting, and mentoring colleagues to grow team capability and support development.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing an HR case work portfolio, which includes conducting discipline and grievance investigations, hearings and appeals, and ACAS Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunals, as well as overseeing attendance and performance management processes. Established success in coaching managers and leaders on various HR matters is essential to this role, empowering them to manage risk, resolve conflict, support their team members to excel at work, and foster cohesion and trust within a hybrid workforce. The postholder will have experience and interest in managing employee wellbeing and diversity and inclusion initiatives; be CIPD qualified; have excellent and adaptable organisation, communication and interpersonal skills; and will enjoy working with a variety of people, with a strong ability to listen effectively.
This is a full-time, permanent role in Band 4 – Senior Management and Senior Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36 per week, working 5 days between the hours of 9am-5pm, although due to the nature of the work, some flexibility may be required.
