Providence Row Housing Association has been helping homeless people in East London since 1860. We provide social housing along with excellent services that aim to support homeless people with complex needs and enable their recovery. Our Senior Substance Misuse Worker works alongside members of the support team to create a safe and welcoming environment within a psychologically informed environment. You will contribute to the development of the recovery hub, by providing expertise in alcohol and drug misuse. Taking a lead role in delivering training/ advising staff on substance misuse issues, liaison with substance misuse agencies, facilitating multidisciplinary case conferences and negotiating access to detox and treatment services. Carrying out assessments of drug and alcohol usage with key clients, delivering brief and extended interventions, outlining risks, advice on harm minimisation and refer to specialist agencies.
You will also conduct surveys of residents view and opinions, assist with audits and reporting on the service, help to ensure compliance with regulation and best practice, and work with a Support Team which promotes person centred coproduced approaches.
You need to have experience of working with homeless people with complex needs, have a good understanding of strengths, needs, and risks they experience. Be competent with computer systems, and comfortable completing regular performance reports. The Senior Substance Misuse Worker is a day shift based role with evening and weekend working.

At Single Homeless Project's (SHP) Elms, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Support Assistant ready to make a lasting difference in people's lives. Elms is a vibrant service based in Leyton (Waltham Forest) that brings together supported housing, a daytime activity programme, and a small floating support service. The supported housing element provides longer-term placements for adults with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, some of whom may also be managing physical health needs. The Homeownership Assistant will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Homeownership team, helping to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to leaseholders, shared owners, and freeholders.

About you
You will need to have proven experience in housing management administration, particularly in working with leaseholders and shared ownership leases. You will also need:
- A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.

Supported Housing Manager
Treasures Foundation offers accommodation and outreach to vulnerable women who have backgrounds of addiction, trauma, mental health and the criminal justice system. We provide housing and support until women can make the transition into their own homes, with some long-arm support extending beyond this period.
The Area Manager will work alongside the COO and CEO to help develop and manage the existing service as well as a new detox provision. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Providing guidance to Specialist Support Manager, Project workers and Volunteers to support their professional development, ensuring that the service is run professionally, efficiently and effectively.
· Fostering a holistic approach to supporting staffs needs, through supervision and appraisals.

As an Income and Housing Officer you will help to maximise the organisation's rental income collection,n effectively manage rent arrears and deal with other breaches of the occupancy agreement.
What you'll do:
* Take responsibility for maximising rent collection across a defined patch of Look Ahead's portfolio of properties ensuring that rent collection targets are met and tenancies sustained
* Advise operational teams on their support related arrears management activities, including holding local surgeries with tenants and staff, taking direct control of higher level and more complex arrears cases

- Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accommodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage. The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
- In this role, you will provide direct support to all the women, as well as holding a small case load of residents who you will keywork.
- You will work closely with support workers and the in-house psychologist. You will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
- The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts covering the hours 8am – 8pm, this will include some weekend work. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.

Housing First supports the most entrenched, excluded and hard to reach service users. The Ruby Project, is a specialist Housing First programme supporting women who have experienced VAWG and other difficulties such as, substance misuse, experience of the criminal jusice system, having children removed from their care, mental and physical health issues etc.
