THE ROLE
The full-time Creative Communications and Events Officer works within the Communications team to help inform the public about antisemitism using a variety of media.
You will be joining our small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial staff team based at our office in central London.
The role brings a diverse set of responsibilities and an opportunity to work within a charitable organisation with a strong sense of purpose.
Responsibilities
- You will design graphics across our organisation, from social media posts and placards to pamphlets to pledge cards
- Work with creative colleagues to conceive and implement a variety communications campaigns to raise awareness about antisemitism and educate the public, sometimes at short notice and with tight deadlines
- Provide logistical support for communications projects, including scouting and booking locations, ordering materials, liaising with third parties and conducting internal research
- Plan, script, shoot and edit videos on various topics for different audiences on our numerous social media channels
- Growing our social media presence, including paid campaigns, to maximise reach and engagement
- Play a significant role in podcast production, from researching and booking guests to audio and visual editing
- Strategically planning and executing key events for the organisation throughout the year, ensuring maximum impact
- Design merchandise for our website and oversee the logistical aspect of sales
- Measure and analyse performance and outcomes of campaigns to increase reach and effectiveness
- Correspond with members of the public who write in to us
- Support units across our organisation in the preparation of materials relevant to their areas of work that conform to our house style and brand
- Work with a dedicated team of staff and volunteers in our pioneering Communications Unit

Main Roles
- To provide advice and casework at OISC/ IAA Level 2 on immigration, nationality and asylum law.

Specific Duties
- Manage a complex caseload across the field of immigration, nationality and asylum law.
- Adhere to casework procedures as outlined in LRMN’s policies, the IAA standards and the Advice Quality Standards (AQS).
- Interview and advise clients regarding immigration and asylum law procedure, and practice in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with IAA registration or similar professional body, e.g SRA.
- Keep up to date at all times with changes in the law by reading and attending training events relating to asylum and immigration.
- To maintain accurate and detailed case records of clients for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval and statistical monitoring, using Advice Pro as appropriate and as required by management.
- Advocate on behalf of clients by telephone, letter and email with appropriate agencies.
- Produce reports to meet funder’s and LRMN requirements.
- Work closely with the Immigration Manager and/or external evaluator in gathering data and information to produce accurate monitoring and evaluation reports.
- To assist the LRMN in liaising with its partners, funders and to provide statistical information and updates as required.
- Work closely with the Immigration Manager in reviewing files and ensure that corrective actions are undertaken.
- Provide regular supervision to Immigration volunteers.
- Allocate immigration tasks appropriate volunteers’ knowledge and skills.
- Keep records of supervision meetings with immigration volunteers.
Other Duties
- To participate in LRMN staff meetings, maintaining a high level of professionalism and contributing skills and knowledge towards best practice for the organisation.
- To develop partnerships and attend external meetings relevant to the work of information and advice in general and immigration in particular.

Princess Alice Hospice is one of the top ten adult hospices in the UK, providing specialist palliative care and support to a community of more than a million people living in Surrey, South West London and Middlesex.
The Night Response Team (NR) provides specialist on call palliative nursing care between the hours of 22.00 and 08.00, 7 days a week for palliative care patients known to Princess Alice Hospice.
The Team also provides nursing care and assistance to palliative and general patients who are referred from the district nursing service, the OOH’s service (111), local ambulance services SECAMB and LAS, Mole Valley Telecare and Tunstall Community Alarm services. This includes palliative patients who are not known to PAH. Night Response visit patients in their own homes as well as in care and residential homes.
A Night Response shift will be covered by two members of staff per night, usually one RN and an SHCA, occasionally two RN’s.
We are based in an office on the in-patient unit at the Hospice. We receive calls, provide information, support and advice to patients, families, and other health care professionals, whilst visiting patients as required throughout the night.
The Night Response Service brings the skills and expertise of our highly trained and dedicated specialist team directly into the patients homes. This allows patients, their families and carers access to the vital support they need at home, when time matters most, providing the opportunity for patients to remain at home and reducing the need for hospital admissions.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced, proactive, dynamic and versatile Staff Nurse with excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone triage skills, to join our Night Response Team.
Experience in caring for patients who are terminally ill is essential. You will need to be able to work autonomously and have an excellent understanding of care provision in the community and be involved in auditing the service provided.
You will need a full driving license with a maximum of 6 points for use of the hospice vehicle (automatic)

Your role
You will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of marketing and communications to support CWNN’s fundraising strategy. You’ll work alongside our Development Manager to create compelling fundraising campaigns, content and communications, growing engagement from individuals, companies, community fundraisers and potential funders while simultaneously raising our profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing plans. Casework & Training Lead Officer

Amicus provides representation for those facing the death penalty in the US. We believe capital punishment is imposed disproportionately on the most vulnerable in society, violating their right to due process and to equal justice before the law. Our aims are to provide better access to justice and to raise awareness of potential abuses of defendants' rights.
We are not primarily a campaigning organisation; rather, we believe we can make the greatest difference through frontline work, including via our extensive network of casework teams working on a variety of projects.
We’re seeking a Lead Officer to play a central role in the busy Amicus team, with the position’s focus being on casework and on training. The role offers a great deal of variety: coordinating our busy casework programme of projects, including supporting caseworkers and teams; and leading in the delivery of training and educational events, especially those aimed at our casework teams.
You will be part of a small team, which means we all pitch in to help each other when necessary. Workload will be demanding at times, an ability to work across multiple tasks and to prioritise will be essential. Given the critical and highly sensitive nature of our work, attention to detail, meeting deadlines and quality of work all are a high priority. You will be interacting with law firms and volunteers all around the world, making communication skills essential for the role.
This is a hybrid role; there will be a requirement to be in our central London office, generally Thursday and Fridays, as well as for casework briefings at law firms as required within the working day, alongside some remote working. Office hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm with an hour lunch break. We run two major training events each year that would require weekend working. We would consider part-time/job-share working for the right person/people.

Support of busy casework programme:

About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Challenge Events Manager to lead and grow our challenge events programme at The Passage. This new role offers a unique opportunity to shape a new events strategy, inspire supporters, and drive sustainable income. You'll manage third-party and bespoke events, build supporter journeys, and create engaging content to foster community and loyalty. About you

As we embark on an exciting 3-year fundraising strategy, we’re looking for a Senior Direct Marketing Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This is a newly created role within the team which will oversee acquisition and new product development.
You’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. In this role you’ll take ownership of planning, implementing and reporting on fully integrated acquisition campaigns across a range of channels including DRTV, Digital, Telephone, SMS and OOH.

Good relationships shape our health and happiness, yet we are taught so little about them. LMK is a registered education charity on a mission to change that. We run workshops educating young people about healthy and unhealthy behaviours, so that they can avoid abuse and thrive in relationships.
