As a Youth Development Lead – Enterprise, your mission is to be the driving force behind young entrepreneurs' success stories. We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Schools Coordinator (Impact Officer) to work as the primary link between partner schools and the CYUK programme.

Join a youth social action charity challenges 18 to 25-year-olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time social action. As mentors, tutors and role models in schools, they support pupils growing up in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the UK.

Position: Schools Coordinator (internal title School Impact Officer)

School locations: N1 8PQ - 2 days school based

Training location: E1 6EG - 1 day per week (with some working from home)

Hours: Part-Time, for 3 days per week (one day must be a Friday) 8:00-4:30, Monday to Friday

The Role

We have a rewarding opportunity for a School Impact Officer to train, support and develop volunteers and monitor the programme through effective administration, data management and to build a deep partnership between the school and the charity.

The Impact Officer is based predominantly in a school and is the primary link between the partner schools and the programme and is the enabler of the programme delivery.  You will support a team of volunteer mentors, who support school activities by coordinating, managing and evaluating the programme.

The Volunteer Mentors also complete a Leadership and Development programme and you will work with them on a professional development plan to chart their continuous professional development and ready them for employment.

The role is primarily a school-based post from Monday to Thursday and is based in a regional venue on most Fridays. See locations above.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to be passionate about social change and serving a great cause. As the School Impact Officer, you will strive for excellence and support the core vision and values of the charity.

You will have:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong supervision skills, able to connect and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders

· The ability to understand school leadership priorities

· Flexibility in your approach to meet volunteers and pupils developmental needs

· The ability to cope well with multiple demands and to ask for support in ambiguous situations

Our award winners have climbed the highest UK peaks, cycled to Paris, performed plays at school, harnessed green power via a bike, among many other imaginative and ambitious projects.   

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an energetic, talented and reliable candidate for our schools’ outreach team, inspiring high-quality applications for funding from Year 12s in our 85 partner London state schools (20% of the total).  There is scope to help shape our strategy. We are looking for competent project officer, ideally with experience of physical challenge, strong administrative skills and with strong writing skills: they will be comfortable working with students, and value personal challenge and development. He/she will be keen to work with a growing charity, and to support young people usually with a poverty of experience and opportunity.

Rape Crisis South London is looking for a skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. 
 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the South West London (SWL) Child Sexual Abuse Early Emotional Support Service for the CYP service. Working closely with the NHS and Schools you will manage a small specialist counselling team ensuring high-quality, trauma informed support for our young people who have experienced sexual violence. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding legislation for children and adults, as well as child development. 
 

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to develop partnerships with schools, families, funders and other key stakeholders. You will hold a relevant professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and be registered with the BACP/UKCP or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally in the contexts of trauma or abuse. 
 

Responsible to the Clinical Lead for CYP you will also provide additional support in the management and allocation of referrals, as well as provide additional support and advice as required to the wider CYP Service.

Who we are looking for

• An experienced senior manager with degree (or degree-equivalent qualification).

• Experience of organisational leadership within a financially accountable organisation, whether in the charitable, public, or private sector.

• Proven commercial strategy / business experience, with the ability to generate and manage diverse income streams, including through partnerships, grants, trading, or other business related activities.

• Experience with a wide range of stakeholders and partners and working with them to achieve programme aims.

Founded in the aftermath of the Second World War, Cumberland Lodge works with young people to understand the causes and impacts of social conflict and division, developing the next generation of leaders to create more just and inclusive futures. Our current programme focuses on four key areas: Youth & Democracy; Rule of Law; Freedom of Religion and Belief; and Intergenerational Dialogue in the Workplace.

We are seeking a Programme Officer to help develop and deliver our programme of activities. The successful candidate will join a thriving organisation as part of a small Programme team under the leadership of the Programme Director. The Programme Officer will play a key role in developing and managing our work underpinned by the twin objectives of nurturing young people as ethical leaders and creating programmes that empower others, through dialogue and debate, to tackle the causes and impacts of social division.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a team player with a background in education or programme delivery,  who is well-organised and an efficient administrator, with excellent inter-personal skills. They must be intellectually curious with strong research abilities, and are confident and articulate communicators. Alignment with our ethos of seeking to address social division through constructive dialogue is essential.

This role will be responsible for managing the delivery of our cohort programmes including currently: Youth & Democracy, Rule of Law, and Gen Z and the City. There is scope for the development of new programme areas, including working with the arts and our public history project, as we respond to contemporary challenges.

Working closely with: Programme Director, Programme Officer, Communications & Engagement team, Chief Executive, Front of House team

Job Description:

· Work with the Programme team, to design and deliver educational resources, workshops and conferences including our Youth & Democracy, Rule of Law, and intergenerational change programme areas;

· Deliver Exploring Ethics and other Cumberland Lodge workshops as requested;

· Identify potential partners and collaborate with stakeholders related to programme activity;

· Produce funding proposals;

· Produce and/or editing briefing papers and reports when required;

· Produce digital content for online learning and engage regularly with the community engagement platform, including identifying topics, producing webinars and podcasts;

Person specification

You’ll have:

The role requires flexible working.  There will be some weekend and evening duties, including programme events, facilitating workshops for visiting groups, talks and tours of the Lodge (shared on a rota basis). Accommodation will be provided on site when evening work is required.

About the role

As Finance Business Partner, you’ll work closely with budget holders, helping them understand and strategically manage their budgets. Your insight will help shape smarter decision-making and deliver lasting impact across the charity. Working in collaboration with wider team of finance business partners, you will help to create, shape and deliver high-quality financial analysis and insight to a range of stakeholders across the business.

What you’ll do:

• Provide high-level financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to senior leaders and department heads.

The role of Case Worker - Mental Health is an excellent opportunity to provide one-to-one tailored support to young people, working collaboratively as part of a multi-agency team, to ensure the safety of young people, and maximise their outcomes. Tailoring support to each young person's individual needs and circumstances, our case workers work as part of the Home Office-funded County Lines Support and Rescue Service.

About You

Main Duties and Accountabilities

Providing appropriate end to end support, and interventions, to a pre-defined caseload of young people, and their families, who are involved in County Lines activity – young people are referred by means of effective assessment, care planning, and risk management.
Proactively and continually assessing and managing caseload risks, escalating where necessary through internal and external safeguarding procedures, and adapting case management frequency and methodology to reflect individual needs and circumstances.
Ensuring that the diverse needs and aspirations of all groups of service users are considered in service planning and delivery, to enable all service users to fulfil their potential.
Liaising effectively with local partner organisations, and other relevant agencies, to ensure effective referrals, care, risk management, and ease of transition and referral, for young people.

Qualifications

Good ICT skills, with experience of using data recording and data collation systems.
Experience of working with young people and their families, identified as vulnerable or having complex needs, preferably in a community setting.
Experience of inter-agency working, preferably with Children's and Family Services/Youth Justice Services/Youth Services.
Knowledge of issues around risk and vulnerability amongst young people.
Desirable: Relevant qualification in a relevant discipline e.g., youth, community, health and social care, management.

About the Role

This role sits at the heart of an innovative peer-led employment programme that helps people rebuild their lives after prison. You will work closely with candidates both before and after release, supporting their transition into the community and into paid work. Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying candidates approaching release who are seeking employment
• Building strong relationships with candidates to understand and help address barriers to work, such as ID, banking and family contacts
• Supporting individuals through release and into the community with regular check-ins
• Building and maintaining relationships with prison staff and other stakeholders
• Organising monthly job surgeries both in prison and in the community
• Connecting with local and national employers, advocating for candidates and promoting their skills
• Collaborating with probation services, local authorities and third sector organisations
• Logging candidate progress using a CRM system

About You

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, resilient and proactive. You will bring excellent communication skills, a genuine commitment to inclusion, and the ability to build strong relationships across different sectors. Essential qualities include:

• Confident and comfortable working in prison environments (security clearance required)
• Empathetic, non-judgemental and an excellent listener
• Awareness of the barriers faced by people with convictions, with a commitment to helping overcome them
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to connect with everyone from candidates to CEOs
• Organised, IT-savvy and confident with record-keeping
• Strong written skills, able to prepare CVs and disclosure statements

Experience in recruitment, case management or related work would be an advantage but is not essential. A driving licence and access to a car is required for prison visits (expenses covered).
