We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in a dual-role capacity, supporting two vital services run in partnership with Homeless Oxfordshire and Connection Support. The role covers both our Step Down provision—designed for individuals discharged from hospital under the Discharge to Assess model—and our service at Mawle Court, which provides temporary accommodation and support for people with complex needs, including those preparing for more independent living or in need of emergency provision. Working as part of a small, dynamic, and enthusiastic team, you will be responsible for delivering a safe and supportive environment across both services. You will lead on the case management of clients with complex needs, working collaboratively with partner agencies to develop and implement holistic, individualised support and move-on plans. Ensure that IT systems are updated as required clear, concise and up to date record keeping is maintained and ensure information is shared with the team and external agencies as required.

To represent Homeless Oxfordshire at interagency meetings, as required.

Manage challenging situations and report any safeguarding concerns without delay in line with procedures and to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

Project 41 accommodates individuals within the homeless pathway and as part of Oxfordshire’s Homelessness Alliance. The successful candidate will understand the trauma people using our services have experienced, and have a compassionate and assertive approach to building relationships. We are looking for a Sheltered Housing Team Leader to join us at our beautiful 13-acre retirement community (Bencurtis Park) to lead our team of Wardens in delivering consistently high-quality, resident-centred services. This is an essential role to help ensure that Bencurtis Park remains a welcoming, inclusive, positive and safe place where older people can continue to live independently in their own homes for as long as they wish and are able to.

• Providing day-to-day leadership, supervision and support to the Warden Team.

The person

We are looking for someone who has experience of leading, motivating and supporting staff to deliver high standards of service. You will bring experience from sheltered housing, independent living, care, accommodation-based services or a similar environment, together with a strong understanding of safeguarding, resident support and person-centred working.

You will be empathetic, calm under pressure and able to communicate effectively with older people, relatives, colleagues and external agencies. Strong organisational skills, good judgement, confidentiality and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. You should also be confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn and make effective use of housing and workplace systems.

Join our team as our new Fruitful Cafe Team Member, supporting the growth of our Fruitful Cafe into a pillar of our community and the training employer of choice for adults with learning disabilities in London.

As our Café Team Member, you'll play a key role in helping people take their next steps into work in the hospitality industry. Reporting to the Fruitful Café Project Manager, you'll support our trainees development, work on the day-to-day Cafe operations, and ensure our customers feel welcome. 

You'll work closely with the Fruitful Development Worker and our café crew to help trainees build their skills, confidence and experience in a real working café. Every day, you'll support up to four trainees as they gain paid work experience in hospitality while serving around 50 customers.

Role overview 

Shine supports a community of over 15,000 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, including 10,000 adults (25+).

You will be delivering high-quality support and creating opportunities for adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their carers, supporting Shine members to lead healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives by improving condition management and fostering connections within the Shine community. 

This role will focus on adults (25+), you will be primarily working within the Adult Services Team. However, there will be occasions when you will work across age groups to ensure the best outcomes for our members. 

The role is home-based and ideally you will live within an hour commute of London, within Essex, Kent or Sussex as you will be attending clinics in London and the Southeast as required. There would be occasional travel required across wider areas and nationally including attendance at events, conferences and meetings at our head office in Peterborough. 

The role is full time 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday with working core hours 9am-5pm with some flexibility to cover events evenings/weekends.

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver innovative support across your region to improve health, social, and emotional outcomes for members. 

• Attend specialist clinics to engage with members and professionals. 

• Provide information, advice, and guidance to our adult members and carers, including hard-to-reach communities.

Support includes managing finances and budgeting, developing life and employment skills, and maintaining personal wellbeing and self-care.

We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Support Workers and Bank Workers who provide consistent, high-quality support to our residents. We take a trauma-informed and psychologically informed approach, empowering young people to develop essential life skills, identify and achieve personal goals, and build the confidence needed to progress towards independent living and a positive future.

Located just off the seafront, the service is well connected to local amenities and has strong links with the wider community, actively encouraging residents to engage with and contribute to community life.

We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our team, who will hold a caseload of residents and meet with them weekly to build a support plan. Main areas of responsibilities are:

Housing and Compliance

• Support young people to understand and comply with their occupancy agreements, including coaching them to meet house rules and responsibilities as part of preparing for successful independent living.
• Promote a strong rent‑payment and credit culture, encouraging residents to maintain regular payments and understand their financial obligations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and statutory requirements affecting young people, ensuring practice aligns with current housing law and organisational policies.
• Respond promptly and effectively to breaches of agreement, including rent arrears, antisocial behaviour, or property damage, using restorative approaches where appropriate and working collaboratively with the wider team.

Coaching and Engagement

• Coach young people so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
• Ensure young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community.
• Ensure consistent standards of safeguarding and Trauma Informed Practice when supporting young people, observing our safeguarding procedures, and keeping yourself and residents safe by respecting professional boundaries.
• Maintain client records on In-Form (client database) detailing the young person’s journey in relation to their strengths and needs, any risks, and any outcomes (to monitor service performance).

There will be times when lone working will be a requirement for this role, but you will get to know the team and service, along with an induction and training prior to starting on a rota.

Join our team as our new Fruitful Cafe Supervisor, helping to mould our Fruitful Cafe into a pillar of our community and the training employer of choice for adults with learning disabilities in London.

As our Café Supervisor, you'll play a key role in helping people take their next steps into work in the hospitality industry. Reporting to the Fruitful Café Project Manager, you'll supervise the day-to-day running of the café, support and manage the team, and make sure we continue to deliver a great experience for everyone who visits.

Who we are -Cranstoun is a social justice and harm reduction charity. We offer a wide range of services across England including housing & homelessness, substance use, domestic abuse, children & young people and criminal justice. 

About the job - An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our supported housing services in Wandsworth.The service has 30 units of accommodation across 5 sites. This role will operate across our various levels of supported housing, including a flexible threshold unit that adopts a harm reduction approach with flexible tolerance toward drug use.      

You will be part of a team providing support to the residents in the service and will be required to work on a rota basis that includes every other weekend. The service is set up to support residents to stabilise their substance use, focusing on harm reduction whilst improving independent living skills and achieving their individual goals. As a keyworker, you would keywork not less than 2 residents, providing support and advice through regular planned keywork sessions. In addition, you would work closely with our partner organisations to ensure that the residents receive support tailored to their needs. You would also contribute to the running of in-house groups and sessions, as well as external activities and days out, 

You will receive on the job training and support, as well as access to a wide range of learning opportunities, both from Cranstoun and partner organisations. We are looking for people with experience of providing support to people with multiple disadvantages, experience of working in a supported housing setting would also be advantageous.
