Job Title: Clinical Lead

Location: Based in our Central Office in Islington which is around a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station. You will also work across multiple services in and around London, Kent, Brighton, Luton and Bedford. Please be kindly aware there is no step free access at this location and some of our other sites. 

Salary: Full time equivalent salary is £61,800

Shift Pattern: 15 hours per week working 5 to 7.5 hour shifts Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00, set days and shifts can be discussed in the recruitment process with the hiring team. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service and organisational needs. 

About the role

As a Clinical Led, you will be responsible for shaping, leading, and delivering our Clinical strategy. You will drive clinical excellence and innovation across our services by providing leadership, knowledge, and your skills to upskill and empower our wider teams. You will champion best practice, compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure we are providing meaningful outcomes for our residents and participants. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Take lead on developing and implementing healthy and safe clinical strategies, policies, and procedures across the organisation.
• Provide expert clinical oversight across all relevant services.
• Lead on research initiatives to evidence the effectiveness of our clinical offer that will provide ongoing evaluations and reviews for SIG.
• Manage ongoing clinical projects, research projects, and audits.
• Provide hands on support to managers throughout resident and participant interactions with SIG.
• Support teams with cases and medication issues, working alongside external clinical teams.
• Complete and manage serious case reviews, in collaboration with various teams internally and externally to complete thorough evaluation and make recommendations.
• Lead on risk management and risk assessments, in line with SIG’s theory of change, carry out strengths-based assessments of need and risk and deliver holistic support and risk management plans, enabling residents/participants to achieve their aspirations and keep themselves safe.

About you

We are looking for someone who can proactively take leadership and ownership of creating safer and compliant clinical services for our residents and participants. You will be able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively, and able to upskill others to be empowered to perform within their roles, with knowledge of clinical excellence. You will have:

• Registered Clinical Profession; Specialist Registered Mental Health Nurse, Non Medical Prescriber qualification or equivalent
• Proven leadership in clinical service delivery within health, social care, or third sector settings
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and driving service excellence
• Ability to teach, train, consult, and deliver clinical supervision
• Thorough understanding of risk management and able to share this with colleagues at all levels through training, meetings and one to one support
• Ability to translate industry standards into internal practices, updating relevant people on any updates on a regular basis. Keep in line with regulations and relevant trends
• Understanding of interplay between physical health, mental health, and substance use
• Ability to understand and apply safeguarding protocols as they arise

Mencap operates in over 1,600 properties in England, Northern Ireland and Wales. This includes providing personal support services for people with a learning disability in a variety of settings, housing management services across 250 properties, retail shops and offices.

We have a fantastic and rewarding opportunity for a Finance professional to support our property team for the next 18 months as they focus on delivering transformation in their processes. This role is a 30 hours fixed-term contract for 18 months, on a 4 day a week basis.

We have large offices in London, and Peterborough and smaller offices located throughout the UK. If there is no office available within a reasonable distance, the role may be offered as home-based with some travel for team meetings. 

We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator with both finance colleagues and operational staff, adapting their style to their audience. • Experience in a finance business partnering role within a Local Authority or social housing environment.

The National Flood Forum is partnering Rochdale Borough Council to deliver one of 25 national projects comprising Defra’s Flood and Coastal Resilience and Innovation Programme (FCRIP) which is managed by the Environment Agency and runs until March 2027. The programme aims to test and create new, innovative approaches to flood and coastal resilience that can be adapted and rolled out more widely as good practice and new ways of delivering positive change.

Our project centres on two frequently flood affected and vulnerable neighbourhoods in the Roch Valley in Rochdale district The communities are complex and include a high incidence of social, economic and environmental disadvantage. It aims to develop a more holistic approach to flood and climate resilience with better management of residual flood risks through new, innovative cross-sectoral approaches that also address climate justice and both flood and fuel poverty. The project will deliver a step change in flood literacy and community participation, increase peoples’ capabilities to respond to flooding, improve flood and climate resilience of ageing housing stock, enhance surface water management, neighbourhood water conservation, natural flood risk management and local green infrastructure and develop better financial resilience for homes and businesses.

This is an exciting role for someone who has experience working at community grassroots or who is passionate about people and working with communities. The Baobab Centre is a non-residential therapeutic community supporting unaccompanied minors who have experienced human rights abuses and are seeking asylum, refugee status and settlement in the United Kingdom.

As an ‘advocate’ caseworkers support young people to express their views and wishes, to stand up for their rights, make choices and access opportunities.

As a Casework Advocate you will understand the impact of specific human rights abuses on the development of children and young people in exile and their individual experiences of loss, trauma and grief on their mental health and well-being. 

As a Casework Advocate you will be out and about with young people - accompanying to appointments and encouraging their involvement and access to their community and support networks. You must be prepared to challenge certain decisions and practices where required for the welfare of the young person. The role can involve supporting young people to initiate legal challenges when necessary and advocating on young person’s behalf where required.

The Digital Officer will support the Communications team in creating innovative and engaging content and posting to social media channels to tell the story of ParalympicsGB and its athletes. The role will work closely with sports and athletes to facilitate filming opportunities and will assist in the delivery of branded content for commercial partners and key stakeholders.

The Digital Officer will also support programmes of activity which seek to fulfil the organisation’s vision ‘through Sport inspire a better world for disabled people’.

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent

HOURS OF WORK: Such hours as are necessary to fulfil the duties. This will involve a minimum of 35 hours per week and include work in evenings and weekends as required.

LOCATION: Hybrid of London office and home based.  ParalympicsGB Office: 101 New Cavendish Street, W1W 6XH. Travel may also be required in the UK and abroad as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content creation

Develop and oversee production of content in our brand identity including video, graphics and photography for ParalympicsGB social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).

Plan, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality, platform-specific vertical videos tailored to maximise organic reach and engagement with ParalympicsGB’s priority audiences: Young People, Disabled Community and Potential Allies.

Will also be required to support wider ParalympicsGB staff teams with the production of content for internal use on occasion.

Social Media Management

Assist the Digital Producer with the management of ParalympicsGB social media channels and when needed helping to post and schedule content in our tone of voice.

Contribute to monitoring social media channels for real-time trends and content opportunities to shape the team's narrative and engage with priority audience groups. 

Keeping up to date and aware of the latest news from sports and athletes.

Branded content

Work closely with the commercial team to align partner content with broader campaigns and ParalympicsGB’s content strategy.

 Website

Contributing to ParalympicsGB digital channels including copywriting, image and video editing including athlete biographies and sport information. Research of athlete personalities and interests to populate future content plans.

 CRM

Keeping an up-to-date record on the ParalympicsGB CRM system of athlete content appearances and all relevant information.

 Games-time

Working on location at the heart of the Paralympic Games as part of the communications team to support athletes, team members and media with the delivery of key communications objectives. Will support Content Producer with capturing engaging Games-time content for ParalympicsGB channels.

Shelter Manchester are recruiting for a number of Housing Rights Workers to cover our city wide advice service.

As Housing Rights Worker, you will deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community priorities. This will involve working alongside people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities.  You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation, networking and engaging with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of housing rights.

You will also work within local community settings and alongside community groups, delivering advice and rights awareness workshops. You will ensure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their views and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. You will offer day to day support to volunteers, provide learning, shadowing and mentoring and be a consistent role model for Shelter’s values.

About you

You will have the ability to engage and work collaboratively with individuals, communities and with all stakeholders, including running group workshops and presentations. You have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy, with the ability to progress to specialist level knowledge. Essential to the role will be good time management, carrying out casework related interviews, maintaining detailed case records and offering advice and support to clients to inform their decisions.

TRAIN is a youth work charity based in South Oxfordshire. We support young people aged 10 to 18 in Didcot, Wallingford and the surrounding areas, especially those who are under-served.

Young people in our communities are facing complex challenges. ABOUT THE ROLE

As Fundraising and Communications Coordinator, your main focus will be trusts and foundations: researching opportunities, writing persuasive applications and producing clear reports. You’ll also play a part in growing support from corporates, community fundraising, individual donors and major gifts, helping to build a broader base of income over time.

Alongside this, you’ll lead on communications. That means keeping our website and social channels current, producing supporter newsletters, and sharing our story more widely through PR and campaigns. You’ll help make sure the difference TRAIN makes for young people is seen and understood by funders, partners and the local community.

It’s a hands-on role, well-suited to someone who enjoys writing, building relationships and juggling different projects. You don’t need to be an experienced fundraiser — we’re open to people with transferable skills, whether from corporate, public or third sector backgrounds. What matters most is that you can communicate clearly, organise your workload, and are motivated by making a difference for young people.

You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the rest of the team. This is a part-time role of approximately 30 hours per week, which can be worked flexibly. The role is based in Didcot with hybrid working, but for the right candidate we will consider a fully remote arrangement.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 FTE (pro-rated, depending on experience)
• Contract: Permanent, part-time, approx. 30 hours per week. We can be flexible on the exact number and when they are worked.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising (approx. 80%)

• Pipeline and planning – work with the CEO to keep a clear fundraising plan, with trusts and foundations as the main focus alongside manageable growth in corporates, community, and individual giving.
• Trusts and foundations – research prospects, build a live pipeline, and write strong, tailored bids. Prepare accurate budgets and gather evidence from the team to strengthen proposals.
• Reporting and stewardship – deliver timely reports, thank funders and donors well, and manage renewals and uplift opportunities.
• Relationship development – nurture links with local businesses, community groups and potential major donors. Prepare simple proposals and support fundraising events or activities as needed.
• Systems and compliance – maintain accurate records of applications, deadlines and outcomes. Ensure fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR and charity regulations.

Communications (approx. 20%)

• Supporter communications – produce engaging newsletters, updates and thank-yous that connect donors and partners with TRAIN’s impact.
• Digital presence – update the website and social media channels with accurate, timely content that reflects TRAIN’s work and values.
• PR and profile – share stories with local media, partners and networks. Ensure TRAIN’s messaging is clear, consistent and accessible.
• Community engagement – promote TRAIN’s profile, youth offer, brand and presence in the community.

General

• Work closely with the CEO to align fundraising and comms priorities.
• Collaborate with youth work staff to gather stories, quotes and data that demonstrate TRAIN’s impact.
• Represent TRAIN at meetings and community events.
• Contribute to the life of a small, collaborative team.

What matters most is that you can write clearly and persuasively, build relationships with people, and organise your workload to meet deadlines. Reporting into the Challenge Events Manager, you’ll boost our ability to grow our portfolio of events and connect personally with the incredible people who support CALM on a day to day basis. 

The reasons people fundraise for CALM can be deeply personal. They might have lost someone to suicide, used our helpline for themselves or someone they know, or they might want to support a lifesaving service. By understanding what drives them, you’ll shape and deliver event experiences that feel meaningful and memorable, strengthen their connection to CALM, and inspire them to keep coming back for more. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

CORE

• Contribute to CALM’s fundraising targets, through excellent event delivery, relationship management and supporter care

• Ensure all supporters receive excellent care from CALM, as well as completing all assigned admin tasks with a high degree of accuracy

• Confidently represent CALM at key meetings and events

• Be a data steward for fundraising, ensuring quality data management

SUPPORTER ENGAGEMENT AND STEWARDSHIP

• Support on delivery of the Challenge Events portfolio, ensuring Challenge Event Fundraisers are staying on track - such as completing registration forms on time, and setting up fundraising pages

• Provide general support to the Challenge Events Manager with event day delivery as required

• Represent CALM at Challenge Events, including acting as an Event Day Lead, and attending wider CALM events

• Work with the Challenge Events Manager and Event Fundraising Lead to develop our portfolio of events, analysing performance, identifying opportunities and putting ideas into action

• Steward CALM’s Challenge Event Fundraisers effectively throughout their journey when supporting CALM, to ensure they feel appreciated and inspired to fundraise for us

• Be the friendly voice of CALM, responding to enquiries through the website or phone in a timely manner

• Proactively craft and send personalised emails to fundraisers to drive retention and satisfaction

• Help with the management and optimisation of the Challenge Event email automated journeys used to steward participants in the lead up to and after their event

• Help to devise and manage our email marketing strategy to event participants 

• Deliver stewardship calls to Challenge Event Fundraisers - welcoming them to the team upon sign up, wishing them good luck before their event, or offering them fundraising guidance and support 

• Work across various income platforms to ensure fundraising pages and donations are correctly coded, including JustGiving and Enthuse

• Support on the maintenance of relevant pages on the CALM website

• Analyse feedback from fundraisers via our post event surveys and identify areas for improvement

• Engage with Fundraisers on our CALM Facebook groups - sparking conversation and fostering a supportive community atmosphere

• Recruit and manage volunteers to support at events

• Work with the wider organisation to improve processes and data management

• Support in other areas of Public Fundraising as required, including community fundraising and individual giving.

About this key role

You will work with participants to conduct a comprehensive initial assessment of their employment and wider needs, and then co-develop and regularly review action plans, supporting individuals to carry out actions through one-to-one and group motivational advice and guidance.  We will also count on you to lead a team of Peer Advisors and Volunteers to deliver flexible and supportive services to individuals with complex needs, aimed at improving their employability and helping them transition into sustainable employment.
