We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join the Finance, IT and Compliance Directorate at St Mungo’s. This is a strategically important role within a highly visible procurement and contract management function supporting services that make a direct difference to vulnerable and homeless people across the UK.

In this role you will:

• Lead compliant end-to-end procurement activity across a broad portfolio of goods, services and technology contracts, ensuring commercially robust and value-driven outcomes in line with the Procurement Act 2023.
• Deliver high-value competitive tenders, framework mini-competitions and sourcing exercises whilst developing procurement strategies, business cases and procurement plans that support organisational objectives and value for money.
• Act as a trusted commercial business partner to stakeholders across the organisation, providing procurement guidance, challenge and support to strengthen commercial decision-making and procurement capability.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies, savings, supplier improvements and procurement innovation through spend analysis, market engagement and continuous improvement activity.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and modernisation of procurement governance, contract management practices, templates, training and best practice across St Mungo’s.

You will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Farringdon, London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional hub locations.

About you

We are looking for a commercially minded, proactive and collaborative procurement professional who can operate confidently within a complex stakeholder environment.

• You will be able to use your skills to contribute to the ongoing development of strategic procurement and contract management practices at St Mungo’s.
• You will hold a minimum CIPS Level 4 qualified or studying towards this qualification.
• You will bring experience of business partnering, delivering procurement plans, and developing strategies.
• You will demonstrate your working knowledge in in procuring under relevant legislation and regulations.

This role is a unique and exciting opportunity for a passionate, hands-on Chef and Trainer to join our rapidly growing charity and support our mission to transform kids’ health through food in schools in a new region. This role will be critical in delivering our flagship programme Transformations and work directly with school kitchen teams across the North West and North East of England.

 About you and the role

This role is responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of the Chefs in Schools Transformation Programme across the North West and North East of England. The Transformation Programme is our flagship year-long initiative, designed to support school kitchen teams and senior leadership teams in serving the best, freshest, and most nutritious food possible. Through this programme, we transform school lunches, upskill kitchen staff, and integrate food education into the heart of the school culture, ensuring that high-quality, scratch-cooked meals become the standard for every pupil.

As a Chef Trainer, you will act as a pivotal, hands-on ambassador for this mission, supporting kitchen teams, school leadership and the wider school community to embed a high quality, sustainable school food culture in schools. You will support development of the programme’s pipeline and join a brilliant, passionate and experienced team of Chef Trainers, with the opportunity to connect, share and learn from one another.

A key component of this role involves being based in schools for 2–3 weeks at a time, working directly on-site to implement the programme. You will travel to different locations across the North West and North East, supporting schools to build high-quality, sustainable food cultures. During your first year, the focus will be specifically on the North West region,  ranging from Manchester to the Wirral, where you will help establish Chefs in Schools’ reputation for positive change.

Key responsibilities:

Programme Delivery & Training:

● Inspire, train and cook with chefs, cooks and kitchen teams in the preparation of fresh, nutritious food to meet specified standards, imparting your passion for fresh, quality food and building capability across client schools in line with the Chefs in Schools model.

● Deliver and oversee Transformation Programme delivery in schools within the region, ensuring high quality outcomes aligned to programme objectives and proposals, including check-ins to support proposal and pipeline development.

● Work closely with Head Chefs, Headteachers and School Business Managers to provide fair assessment of culinary ability for existing and new Head Chefs including skills tests.

● Support with recommended kitchen structures at Transformation schools using the Kitchen Brigade system.

● Advise and guide Head Chefs, Kitchen Teams and School Business Managers to improve uptake, menu development and School Food Standards compliance.

● Advise on reputable, quality and cost-effective suppliers to support schools to reduce cost per meal per child without sacrificing food quality. Including light-touch auditing and development of procurement suppliers in the region.

● Encourage schools to monitor, control and reduce kitchen, service and food waste.

● Train kitchen staff to follow up-to-date Health and Safety and hygiene policies and procedures, alongside latest EHO, Food Standards Agency and Allergen guidance.

● Work with the Senior Programme Manager to develop training materials that support the charity’s wider work, ensuring training plans reflect the latest relevant guidance including EHO, Food Standards Agency and Allergen guidance.

● Support schools to develop a whole-school food culture through food education with pupils, aligned to School Food Standards, and the creation of scratch-cooked, delicious and nutritious school food.

Transformation Programme Development:

● Support growing regional brand awareness, in partnership and alignment with the Senior Programme Manager.

● Visit potential new school clients to assess kitchens and kitchen teams (check-ins) within the region, working with the Senior Programme Manager to support proposal and pipeline development as required.

● Support the onboarding of new schools based on the outcome of check-ins conducted and proposals.

● Support in maintaining, improving and running the programme, and Innovations, School Chef Educator and Membership programme needs as required.

Administration & Measurement:

● Support with monitoring and capturing of programme KPIs of Transformation schools, measuring success against Chefs in Schools benchmarking and keeping the Senior Programme Manager updated on any variances.

● Support with case study development working in partnership with the Comms and Fundraising team.

● Report any complaints or serious incidents to the Senior Programme Manager and follow relevant actions related to Chefs in Schools Escalation and Tracking processes.

Essential Skills & Experience:

● You have interest and belief in our mission to improve kids’ health through improving food and food education in schools.

● You have significant professional experience as a chef (minimum of 5 years), ideally with a background in schools, high-volume catering or institutional cooking.

● You have experience training or mentoring kitchen staff, including building culinary capability and culture change.

● You are confident in assessing culinary skills and advising on kitchen structure, menus and supplier choices.

● You are organised, methodical and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

● You are a strong communicator able to build trusting relationships with different types of stakeholders.

● You have a sound understanding of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Allergen regulations and School Food Standards.

Desirable skills & experience:

● Experience working in a school or educational setting.

● Comfortable with data capture, reporting and keeping accurate records.

● Familiarity with the Kitchen Brigade system or equivalent kitchen management structures.

At the Motability Foundation we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. We oversee the Motability Scheme and provide grants to help people use it, providing access to transport to hundreds of thousands of people a year. We award grants to other charities and organisations who provide different types of transport, or work towards making transport accessible. We also carry out ongoing research, in partnership with disabled people and key stakeholders in the industry, to inspire innovations that continue to champion accessible transport for all.

This role will support the Senior Insight Manager in delivering policy research and insight as part of the new insight function. This role sits at the intersection of research and policy, ensuring that evidence is not only generated, but interpreted and mobilised effectively to inform forward-looking organisational positioning.

What you will be doing:

As Policy Research Manager, you’ll play a central role in building and mobilising the evidence needed to influence policy and public debate on mobility, disability and welfare reform. Working closely with colleagues across Insight, Policy and Public Affairs, you’ll help to ensure that the Foundation has a robust, timely and compelling evidence base to support advocacy, engagement with decision-makers, and external partnerships.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing clear and persuasive evidence narratives that demonstrate the social value and impact of the Foundation’s work, drawing on research, evaluation findings and wider policy evidence
• Scoping, developing and oversight of rapid evidence reviews and insight summaries to inform policy positions, responses to consultations and support external engagement
• Delivering forward-looking policy analyses using futures and foresight approaches (including horizon scanning and trend synthesis), assessing potential implications for disabled people and organisational positioning.
• Acting as the lead for policy-relevant research on welfare reform and related priority areas, synthesising internal and external evidence to inform organisational responses
• Supporting coordination with Motability Operations on shared policy and research priorities
• Supporting relationships with external partners including Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs), think tanks and public research bodies, including representing the Foundation to contribute an evidence-informed perspective

The Philharmonia is seeking to appoint a Box Office and CRM Manager to lead the management, development and optimisation of the Orchestra’s CRM strategy, systems and audience experience. The roles focuses on ensuring a seamless customer journey while overseeing the effective operation of the Box Office and the ongoing development of Tessitura.

This is a key role overseeing both the day-to-day operation and strategic development of the Philharmonia’s Box Office and CRM function. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing ticketing and customer strategies that maximise sales income, improve conversion and enhance the audience experience.

As a public facing member of staff, the Box Office and CRM Manager will be a key representative of the Orchestra, ensuring customers receive a welcoming, efficient and accessible service whether booking online, by phone or in person. A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service is therefore essential.

The role will also lead on the effective management and ongoing development of Tessitura, supporting audience insight, segmentation, reporting and customer journeys across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Development, Finance and Concerts, the successful candidate will help ensure that customer data is used effectively to support audience growth, income generation and informed decision-making.

About The Role

This is more than a management role. As Service Manager at Preston Foyer, you will lead across two town-centre sites, creating a safe, ambitious environment where young people can grow in confidence, develop skills and move towards independence.

Working in strategic partnership with the Foyer Federation, Preston Foyer is shaped by Advantaged Thinking, focusing on young people’s strengths, talents and potential. About The Role:

It’s an exciting time at The Scouts. As part of our Skills for Life strategy, we’ve delivered an ambitious digital transformation, supporting over 150,000 volunteers and 450,000 young people every week.

As a Product Manager, you’ll lead the development of digital products that meet user needs and deliver real value. You’ll spend time listening to users, understanding their challenges, defining a clear product vision, and turning that into impactful outcomes.

Working closely with staff, volunteers, and suppliers, you’ll help continuously improve our digital tools and ensure they evolve alongside organisational needs. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact, helping deliver products that support over half a million young people each week as they gain skills for life.

As the Product Manager, you will (Key Responsibilities):   

• Own and manage a portfolio of digital products, defining product vision, objectives, and long-term roadmaps aligned with organisational strategy.
• Prioritise backlogs and translate business needs into user stories, leading delivery from build and testing through to deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and suppliers to gather requirements, solve problems, and drive successful product outcomes.
• Lead change and adoption activities, ensuring effective communication, training, and embedding of product management best practices.
• Define and track OKRs, KPIs, and success measures, using data and insights to continuously improve products and outcomes.

Who we’re looking for as our Product Manager:

• Demonstrated experience delivering digital products using agile methodologies, with strong skills in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across the full project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of product management, agile and lean practices, and digital platforms including CRM, CMS, mobile, and analytics tools.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to work confidently across teams, suppliers, and user groups.
• Data-driven and highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• User-focused and adaptable leader, passionate about digital transformation, continuous improvement, inclusivity, and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
