The role
As Manager of Philanthropic Giving, you will lead myaware’s trusts, foundations and high-value philanthropy fundraising, driving sustainable income growth through a strong and well-managed funding pipeline. You will shape and deliver strategies to secure both restricted and unrestricted income, manage the full bid lifecycle, and build long-term relationships with trusts, statutory funders and high-net-worth individuals.
Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership and trustees, you will develop compelling funding propositions, steward funders through excellent reporting and engagement, and represent myaware at meetings, events and networking opportunities. You will also maintain accurate records through our CRM system, track performance against targets, and contribute to income planning and reporting. This is a strategic and hands-on role with real impact for people affected by myasthenia.
The Manager of Philanthropic Giving will be predominantly home based within the UK (with occasional working and meetings at Derby HQ) and will work in co-operation with the fundraising team and all myaware colleagues to deliver agreed fundraising targets and campaigns. Own transport is essential for this role as occasional travel throughout the UK will be required to attend donor meetings, events and networking opportunities, as well as the ability to travel to the Derby office. There may be the need to occasionally work during weekends and evenings and therefore there is a need to work flexibly when required.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced and motivated fundraising professional with a strong track record in major donor and Trusts & Foundations fundraising. You will have experience securing significant gifts, building and stewarding long-term funder relationships, and writing compelling funding applications and impact reports.
You will be a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal, research and organisational skills, confident managing a complex pipeline and working collaboratively across teams. You will be comfortable working independently, using CRM systems, and engaging senior stakeholders, including trustees and high-level donors. Most importantly, you will share myaware’s values, demonstrate empathy with our cause, and be committed to making a meaningful difference through philanthropy.

Who are we?
Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia.
We are working hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as it is a little-known condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the condition.
We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors.
Members of myaware have full access to a wide range of support services and events including our specialist benefits and welfare advisor.
Myaware supports people with myasthenia and their families. We campaign for better medical services for people with myasthenia and work to inform medical professionals.
The myasthenias are a group of neuromuscular conditions. They are rare but also manageable and can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender or nationality. Myasthenia gravis, ocular myasthenia and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome are autoimmune conditions whereas congenital myasthenic syndrome is caused by an inherited genetic fault. It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.

About this role:
Reporting to the Head of Policy and Communications, the Policy and Communications Coordinator will support SIB’s track record of sector, government and media engagement, notably the high standard of publication set through its media partnerships with Tortoise and the Financial Times, its contributions to the policy landscape in the social sector, and its in-house data analysis and insight generation. This new post will contribute to SIB’s ongoing communications and public policy work and its reach and influence, building on a growing base of expertise across SIB’s three strategic priority areas: Green Transition, Infrastructure and Services.
Key responsibilities
1. Support the Head of Policy and Communications to deliver the Policy and Communications strategy for SIB.
2. Making use of media and parliamentary tracking software keep abreast of SIB’s strategic policy areas, sharing accessible updates and digests of relevant legislation and central and local government programming and media coverage.
3. Attend / watch online relevant parliamentary committees, All Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) and Commons and Lords sessions, capturing relevant outcomes and identifying MPs and Lords that SIB should seek to work with / influence.
4. Support the Head of Policy and Communications to identify a key parliamentary contacts list. Create tailored communications for these key contacts which share relevant statistics and case studies from SIB’s portfolio, alongside policy influencing lines. This will include drafting questions and briefings where relevant, and ensuring that regular contact is maintained.
5. Support the drafting of consultation responses and press releases using SIB’s core messaging, reporting, research and data.
6. Support SIB’s annual party conference attendance with coordination and administration in advance and in person.
7. Support the Head of Policy and Communications with attendance at influencing meetings and webinars with, for example, the Association of Decentralised Energy, Community Energy England, Locality, Better Society Capital, the Access Foundation and others.
8. Draft internal and external copy for newsletters and the SIB intranet and website.
9. Monitor the press email address and support correspondence with journalists on reactive and proactive stories.
10. Attend and provide oversight to the Social Investment Forum, as part of SIB’s secretariat and hosting.
11. Write, edit and produce engaging and relevant content at pace for web, social media and e-newsletters, as well as earned and paid channels.
12. Management of external suppliers of communications and policy activities, including agencies, designers, consultants and think tanks.
13. Work with the Marketing Manager, Marketing and Events Coordinator, Business Development Manager and wider team to deliver successful external events with customers, stakeholders and partners including attendance at Party Conferences.
14. Work in line with the organisation's values, principles and processes to achieve operational excellence.

- Previous experience of working in a public policy, PR, marketing, external affairs or communications role

- Good established networks through experience in a similar role, and a commitment to expanding those networks to support SIB’s strategic aims

Individual Giving Lead (Donor Development)
You will be an experienced, ambitious, proactive fundraiser who works fast and efficiently to develop relationships with individual supporters through a variety of channels including direct mail, email and digital channels. We’re just scratching the surface – currently the individual giving programme is heavily focus on direct mail – you have the chance to shape this programme and make this role your own.

The Democratic Progress Institute (DPI) is an independent non-governmental organisation established in consultation with international experts in conflict resolution and democratic advancement in Türkiye and the region. DPI seeks to promote peace and democracy building through strengthened public dialogue and political engagement.
Through its Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI), the European Union is funding an 18-month programme on supporting inclusive dialogue and peacebuilding in Türkiye.
Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to design, set up, and operationalise a functional M&E framework that will enable systematic data collection, analysis, reporting, and learning throughout the project lifecycle.
DPI is looking for an experienced M&E consultant to conduct baseline and final evaluations of the project, as well as design all the monitoring and evaluation tools to meet our KPIs for the EU project.
The consultant will:
· Conduct baseline and endline evaluations of the project..
· Establish monitoring and evaluation tools, and reporting systems.
· Ensure alignment with donor requirements and international M&E standards.
Key requirements
- Degree (or qualification) in M&E, Statistics, Development Studies, or comparable professional experience.
- At least 5 years’ experience designing M&E systems for NGO projects.

Purpose of the role
Our PR & Media Manager is crucial to guiding our public story and scale up our media reach as we enter the final stages of our campaign to end bear bile farming in Vietnam and develop the profile of our founder and CEO Jill Robinson MBE. As the internal lead for global PR and media, you will cultivate strong relationships with colleagues in our Programmes and Fundraising teams to amplify their work through celebrity support, thought-leadership and media engagement.
Your main areas of responsibility include press office management (managing the media inbox, journalist and influencer liaison, writing press releases, and media monitoring , working with our international network of external PR specialists to prepare and deliver PR & Media plans for each of our key fundraising markets (UK, US & Aus.), preparing pitches, media releases and content for media outreach and building a library of case studies and fact files to demonstrate our impact.
Working closely with our Celebrity Manager, your other key area of responsibility is developing and implementing creative media opportunities for our celebrity supporters to raise Animals Asia’s profile through earned, owned and shared digital platforms, print and broadcast media. You will possess the knowledge, skills, and creativity to help us raise awareness of Animals Asia and what we stand for, helping us grow our supporter base and meet our brand goals. You will be managed by our Global Director of Strategic Communication.
Key duties:
Strategy and planning
- Development of creative campaigns that deliver high quality coverage to reach target audiences in line with Animals Asia’s organisational and communications objectives including fundraising, brand awareness, policy influencing and behaviour change.
- Utilise a range of appropriate tactics such as celebrity and influencer support, CEO profile building and subject matter expert thought leadership.
PR delivery
- Participate in the development and implementation of our thought leadership program, supporting our internal subject matter experts to publish on Linked In, contribute to earned media and participate in speaking opportunities.
- Preparing, publishing, moderating and reporting on social media content for PR and media purposes, including the identification and targeting of key influencers to support our campaigns share our content.
- Support and promote global campaigns, appeals and events with PR, including the development of press materials and media targeting and liaison.
- Participate in a program of activity to develop and build the profile of our CEO, Jill Robinson, as a key ambassador for Animals Asia.
Press office management
- Day to day running of the press office, including responding to media enquiries, drafting media releases, undertaking proactive pitch development, outreach to journalists and influencers, maintaining our database of media contacts and other general press office management.
- Leading on the creation and maintenance of our external events and key dates calendar to identify opportunities and clashes for PR.
- Keeping abreast of external events and news stories for reactive response and future planning.
- Identifying, monitoring and responding to any reputational and other reactive issues, including anything related to our celebrity ambassadors, in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Coordinate the monitoring, reporting and evaluation of all PR and media related activities, to assess and learn from the success of activities to feed into future plans as well as build the positive profile of the PR function across the organisation.
- Management of PR suppliers, such as Meltwater and MuckRack, to ensure a smooth and well-functioning press office with timely reporting and access to information.
- Maintaining the news and media sections of our website and media packs.
Content production and asset coordination
- Lead on the internal coordination of information, asset gathering and content production for proactive and reactive media activity, delivering outputs in an engaging, accessible and media appealing way, including with the development and maintenance of a case study and fact file library and the production of media-ready content, including with video, images, audio and copy.
- Develop and craft key messages that get cut through, in support of our campaigns.
- Draft high quality materials such as press releases, opeds, blogs, briefings, pitches and bios across all PR, including in close collaboration with our internal subject matter experts to develop our reputation and thought leadership in animal welfare.
Relationship management
- Day to day management of PR suppliers and partners, including our international network of external PR specialists to deliver PR campaigns.
- Internal liaison with colleagues throughout Animals Asia to gather information, check facts and develop content and pitches for earned media.
- Build relationships with key journalists, celebrities and social media influencers.
General
- Proactive attendance at meetings.

Person Specification:
- Minimum of three years’ experience of working in a busy press office or PR agency, including drafting key messages, press releases and responding to media enquiries.
- Strong news sense, knowledge of biodiversity and animal welfare is a plus.
- Strong experience of using a range of proactive and creative PR tactics to generate high quality and on message PR coverage, such as with celebrities, individual profile building, fundraising and policy influencing campaigns.
- Excellent experience and understanding of different types of PR opportunity and outlet and how to target them, such as broadcast, opinion, news, features and letters.
- Experience of working with celebrities, their managers and agents.
- Experience in measuring and reporting on press coverage, including using media monitoring software to track media engagement, journalists and coverage.
- Excellent understanding of reputation management and associated risks.

- Extensive experience of writing and publishing to social media.
- Competent video editing skills.

About the Role
This role will support colleagues and partners to engage with and develop high-quality proposal packages for priority donors. The role will coordinate the development and submission of high-quality and donor aligned proposals and reporting. There is a strong capacity development and learning element to this work, and the role will share knowledge, learning and resources across Fauna & Flora to maximise success rate and promote best practice in grant management and donor stewardship.
About You
Experience of working with institutional and government funding sources, be they bilateral and/or multilateral, is essential for this role. You will have proven experience of securing programme funding from government sources, and a good understanding of how institutional donors and funding programmes support the achievement of international targets and government priorities.
You will also have excellent relationship-management and communications skills and be able to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional teams, non-governmental partners, and government agencies. The Community Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in delivering Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Dementia Community Champions (DCC) programme. Launched in 2022, the programme empowers volunteers to share dementia information within communities that are under-served in terms of access to health information and research, and at higher risk of being affected by dementia. The programme has to date focused on South Asian communities in Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby. In 2026, it will expand to include Black African and Black Caribbean communities in East London. As the programme continues to grow, the Officer will have significant scope to support, shape, and develop this important area of work.
Dementia Community Champions are volunteers trained by Alzheimer’s Research UK to deliver events in their communities to increase knowledge and understanding of dementia, brain health and dementia risk factors. They also emphasise the importance of taking part in research in their local communities.
They do this by:
- attending and completing training in dementia, risk factors, and dementia research run by the core ARUK team.
- holding events within their communities to share dementia information.
- sharing leaflets and other resources.
- speaking to local people about their experience of dementia and signposting them to appropriate information and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Day to day support of volunteers
· Assist in the recruitment and management of new DCC volunteers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and volunteer journey.
· Act as a point of contact for DCC volunteers, providing guidance, support, and timely responses to their enquiries.
· Empower volunteers by helping them build skills and confidence to talk about dementia and dementia research, and to engage effectively with their audiences.

Job Description
As the Operations and Visitor Experience Manager, you play a pivotal role at CSC, with full
responsibility for our Centre in Cambridge Science Park and our secondary site, currently in
Wisbech.
An essential part of your role is to drive CSC’s direct revenue streams connected to the Centre.
You will lead your team in generating public and school bookings, and in overseeing community
audiences, private hires, and other groups, ensuring every visitor enjoys a seamless and
welcoming experience. You will also take a proactive approach to increasing visitor numbers,
expanding CSC’s membership base, and researching and developing new revenue-generating
initiatives that strengthen our long-term sustainability.
Your expertise in creating and implementing exhibition spaces will be instrumental in bringing to
life our annual delivery calendar of science themes, which is strategically curated to attract and
engage our audiences while supporting the delivery of our Programmes. You will oversee an
annual budget covering the shop and site facilities.
You will work closely with the Outreach and Innovation Manager to prioritise, schedule, and
maintain products and content in line with CSC’s core Programmes and commitments, ensuring
impactful experiences for all audiences. In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications
Manager, you will plan and execute advertising campaigns targeting both the public and schools.
You will also coordinate with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop opportunities for
corporate partners to support on-site exhibitions and events, ensuring agreed partnerships are
effectively tracked and delivered.
Beyond operations, you will champion excellence in STEM engagement, providing both positive
and constructive feedback to the Engagement and Logistics Lead to ensure CSC’s offerings
remain best-in-class. This is an opportunity to shape the visitor experience at CSC, ensuring it

Key Responsibilities
● Create a welcoming and engaging environment for all visitors to our centres.
● Support and line-manage the Delivery and Sales Administrator and the Finance and
Operational Support Manager.
● Take overall responsibility for Health and Safety across CSC sites, ensuring full compliance
with requirements at both centres. Implement corrective actions where needed, and
oversee training and incident management to maintain a safe and well-managed
environment.
● Achieve annual direct income revenue targets across Visitors, Membership, Shop, Schools,
Parties, and STEMtots (under-fives), track progress, report findings, and take corrective
action as needed.
● Develop and implement strategies to increase visitor numbers and drive membership
growth.
● Research, plan, and execute new revenue projects to diversify CSC’s income streams.
● Oversee asset records, maintenance priorities, budgets, contractors, and expenditures
across the Cambridge and Wisbech sites, ensuring the effective sourcing and delivery of
third-party exhibits and content.
● Deliver an annual plan for exhibition-floor themes, events, and site management,
coordinating with the Outreach and Innovation Manager and the Engagement and Logistics
Lead to align activities with multi-year programmes, partner commitments, and internal
schedules such as training and exhibit maintenance.
● Establish a multi-layered feedback system to collect, analyse, and act on visitor insights,
continuously enhancing our offering.
● Oversee CSC’s volunteering and work experience programme, ensuring recruitment,
induction, and ongoing support are delivered to a high standard.
● Work with the Director of Business Development to identify and address barriers for
schools, supporting bursary applications and additional funding opportunities.
● In coordination with your team, ensure the shop is stocked with appropriate products to
maximise sales, support at-home engagement with STEM after a family visit and promote a
message of sustainability.
● Increase school bookings through strategic planning, aligning with schools’ annual planning
cycles, targeted outreach, and the effective delivery of engagement programmes.
● Work with the Marketing & Communications Manager to plan and deliver advertising for
exhibitions, events, and school engagement, ensuring effective promotion of activities at
both the Cambridge and Wisbech centres.
● Manage the budget and oversee all contractors and expenditures related to the Cambridge
site and Wisbech.
● Provide financial support, working closely with the Director of Operations and Engagement
to ensure CSC’s operational sustainability.

Working Conditions
The primary location for this role is Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge
Science Park, CB4 0FN; however, travel to secondary sites and the main office will be required.

Charity People are looking for a Social Media Innovator to join an award winning team and help take the charity's social media presence to new heights. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how the charity connects with their audiences, and to play a key role in supporting the charity's vision of a world where anything is possible for people affected by the cause.
You will support the day to day delivery of the charity's social media content and campaigns, manage the social calendar, and bring creative, timely ideas that keep their channels fresh, relevant and on brand. You will also contribute to project work that strengthens their longer term digital approach, including exploring further online communities and developing new ways to reach various audiences.
You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team of three where every voice is valued and innovation is encouraged. You will work across LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, and there will be opportunities to help shape decisions in the team and exploring new various online communities.
About the role:
- Own and maintain the social calendar, helping coordinate content across teams
- Lead and deliver creative campaigns from start to finish, providing clear social media guidance and insight
- Identify trends, media stories, and sector conversations to inform responsive content
- Use social listening and audience research to develop innovative ideas for campaigns and resources
- Support wider social media projects including YouTube development, community management and new channel testing
- Produce clear, warm and accessible copy that reflects their kind communication tone
- Report on campaign performance and recommend improvements for future activity
- Provide social media advice across the organisation to support projects and cross team work
You will bring:
- Experience planning and delivering creative social media content and campaigns
- Strong copywriting skills with a good eye for visual design and brand consistency
