About the role:

This Best Companies Top 50 mid-sized company and Top10 charity is looking to appoint an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and deliver marketing campaigns that will drive awareness of Rainbow Trust and support fundraising activity to strengthen our position as experts in children’s palliative care. About the role: 

A front door is not the finish line. For people moving on from rough sleeping, accommodation can be the first real point of safety in years — but keeping it, trusting support and preparing for independent housing takes skill, patience and persistence.

As Lead Support Worker in our Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme, you will support people accepted into RSAP move on accommodation to settle, sustain their tenancy and build the confidence, skills and connections they need to move forward. You will work with people who may be navigating trauma, poor mental health, substance use, offending histories, isolation or long periods of exclusion from services, offering support that is practical, consistent and rooted in their strengths.

You will take a lead role in referrals and assessments, develop high quality support and risk management plans, and work closely with housing, health, social care, criminal justice, substance use, mental health and community partners. From helping someone manage rent, bills and repairs, to advocating when systems become a barrier, you will be part of turning accommodation into a stable platform for longer term independence.

This is a role for someone who can combine warmth with tenacity. You will need to build trust, hold boundaries, stay calm when progress is uneven, and bring creative energy to complex situations. In return, Single Homeless Project (SHP)  will support you to keep developing your practice, deepen your knowledge and grow your career in a values-led organisation committed to ending homelessness.

This role will play a pivotal role in supporting Galop to achieve its mission to support LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence in the UK. You will work alongside another Executive Assistant to provide administrative and project support to the Co-CEOs, as well as supporting the Chair of the Board, Trustees, and Senior Leadership Team as needed. You will work closely with Galop’s Co-CEOs and the wider senior team to ensure the efficient and effective running of the executive office. This is a remote role, with the ideal candidate being available in person in central London on an ad hoc basis. This position is part-time and we are open for this role to be undertaken in either 3 or 4 days per week, and can show flexibility with working hours.

Your duties will include: 

Executive Support & Office Management 

• Support the Co-CEOs in all aspects of their roles, including strategic inbox and diary management, workload management, coordinating and minuting meetings, ensuring they are fully briefed, and tracking action points for the Co-CEOs and Senior Leadership Team.  
• Act as an effective gatekeeper to the Co-CEOs.

The Role

• Is fantastic at organising and prioritising a busy workload and knowledgeable of project management. Loves attention to detail and can work on several projects at once whilst thinking outside the box, as things can change quickly!

Our partner is a humanitarian organisation working to support communities affected by conflict and violence. They are seeking an interim finance professional to provide hands-on support to the finance team during a busy period. The role will focus on day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, transaction processing and support with income, inter-company and cost recovery processes.

This would suit a part-qualified accountant, experienced Finance Officer or someone qualified by experience who is confident working across reconciliations, journals and transactional finance.

Key responsibilities

• Post transactions accurately to the organisation’s accounting system.
• Ensure bank reconciliations are completed and reconciling items are followed up, including helping to clear a short backlog.
• Reconcile income received against CRM records, ensuring data and details match across both systems.
• Support the reconciliation of inter-company transactions between UK and overseas entities, including helping to clear existing backlog items.
• Work with the Programme Finance Manager on salary and overhead recoveries.
• Prepare and post journals to the accounting system.
• Support the finance team with other accounting, reconciliation and month-end tasks as required.

Person specification

• Part-qualified or QBE professional with experience in an all-round Finance Officer or similar role.
• Strong reconciliation experience, including bank reconciliations and income reconciliations.
• Experience posting transactions and journals to an accounting system.
• Good attention to detail and confidence working with financial data across different systems.
• A practical, organised and hands-on approach, with the ability to work through backlogs and resolve discrepancies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with finance and programme colleagues.
• Experience in the charity, international NGO or grant-funded sector would be helpful, but is not essential.

• They are seeking someone to start immediately, with the contract is expected to run for approximately 3 months.

A strong working knowledge of housing, community care, mental health, health and safety, and welfare benefits legislation is essential, alongside the ability to use computer systems to produce accurate reports and monitor the quality of staff record-keeping to a high standard.

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week), to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our London & South East Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most. 

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the London & South East Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child or young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.
