We are now seeking a Digital & Data Transformation Manager to provider leadership for our digital systems, data automation, cybersecurity protocols and AI adoption.

The role

As Digital & Data Transformation Manager you will have an ability to influence in digitisation, data and IT and work cross-organisationally with Care/Housing operations, Finance, HR, suppliers, Trustees and Executive leadership. Our need is to co-create the digital strategy, influence ways of working and problem solve at a practical level. This role will lead and add momentum to the digitisation of Keychange. The process has begun and this role will coordinate and add cultural sensitive impetus to the change.  We want to multiply the gains already made to continue the transformation of the organisation. 

The focus of the role includes:

• Digital and data transformation, including identifying emerging digital technologies that can support or enhance our operations and the development of a digital organisational dashboard
• Digital and data management, including data protection governance, data security and data management
• Operational delivery, including oversight of our outsourced IT contractor and technical management of our intranet development

This is a management role with real impact – both within Keychange and ultimately in the lives of people we support.

 About you

We are looking for a values-led manager who brings:

• Experience in leading the development of digital systems, information governance, cyber-security improvement or digital transformation in a charity, care, housing, education or public sector environment
• Strong supplier-management skills
• Working understanding of cyber-security governance
• Ability to explain technical and governance issues clearly to non-technical and non-IT colleagues
• Ability to work at both management and practical implementation levels

Responsibilities

Finance & Board Administration

• Financial Oversight: Manage invoice creation, process team expenses, have a good understanding of our overall budget, and pull monthly budget reports from Sage for budget holders.

• Reporting: Prepare core financial reports for the board (budget vs. actuals, projections, cash flow charts) and support fundraising financial queries.

• Board Support: Coordinate quarterly board meetings, manage agendas/slides, take action notes (utilising AI tools), and track the risk and action logs.

Operations, HR & Governance

• HR Support: Manage employee onboarding/offboarding, set up equipment, update personnel databases, and prep monthly payroll, working together with our People & Culture team.

Qualifications

• Exceptional administrative skills to manage everything from HR onboarding and wellbeing scheduling to high-level Board preparation and Director support.

• A strong eye for detail to proofread and edit internal and external communications, ensuring different pieces of content meet grammar, tone, and branding standards.

• Ability to maintain meticulous data integrity in our CRM for programme and fundraising activities.

• Prepared to embrace being a ‘Digital Champion’, helping team members to learn and embrace platforms we use such as Wrike / Hubspot / Gemini.

• Organised and able to hold us to strict legislative timelines or important annual dates (e.g., filing of accounts / updating Companies House records).

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating memorable supporter experiences and delivering engaging fundraising activity.

Working closely with the Head of Events and Community Fundraising, you'll play a pivotal role in growing community fundraising income and supporter engagement across the charity. You'll build relationships with supporters, community groups and volunteers, helping them achieve their fundraising ambitions whilst ensuring they feel valued every step of the way. Alongside this, you'll support the delivery of a portfolio of special events, helping to create exceptional experiences that inspire support for Brain Research UK's mission.

The successful candidate will be joining at an exciting stage of development, with plenty of opportunity to bring fresh ideas, identify new fundraising opportunities and contribute to the future growth of the community fundraising programme. You'll work across supporter stewardship, event delivery, fundraising development and reporting, making this a broad and varied role with excellent scope for career development.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and naturally people-focused. You might already be working in community fundraising, events or supporter engagement, or perhaps have developed transferable relationship-management skills in another sector and are looking to bring them into the charity world.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys building lasting relationships, has excellent communication skills and is motivated by delivering outstanding supporter experiences. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, confident working independently and excited by the opportunity to help grow an ambitious fundraising programme.

SOS UK is looking for a Digital Communications Manager to deliver our new digital communications and mobilisation strategy, growing our reach, impact and income while inspiring people to take action for sustainability.

Role details

Location: Home working anywhere in the UK, with occasional UK-wide travel, early starts, late returns and approximately five overnight stays per year.

Working patterns: 1 FTE (35 hours per week), with typical working patterns falling between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary: £44,672–£49,456 per annum, plus London Weighting of up to £3,655 pro rata where applicable. We also provide up to a 6% pension contribution and life assurance.

About the role

This role will work closely with Campaigns and Advocacy colleagues to deliver our new digital and communications strategy, helping to professionalise our communications and digital, and mobilise and inspire the public to take time, money and voice actions that support us and the youth led campaigns we help make happen.

You will work closely with colleague across the organisation to deliver inspiring, impactful communications, driving support for SOS UK and engagement with young people.

This role would suit a mid-career digital or communications generalist, with skills in email marketing, web and social media, including short-form video (e.g. Instagram Reels or TikTok).
