Employment Specialists provide personalised support to set career goals, overcome barriers to work, and navigate every stage of the job search—from CV writing and interview preparation to engaging with employers and understanding how employment may affect benefits. The team also offers ongoing in-work support to help individuals stay in their roles and thrive in the workplace.​

You need to have experience of working in a target driven environment where you achieved or exceeded your targets as well. It would be beneficial if you have knowledge of the IPS model and have worked in that function. Ideally you would have worked in this sort of position before or in a recruitment role where you were supporting applicants in improving there chances of success.

Solo Homes combines independent living with intensive personalised support to clients. By adopting a flexible, creative and strengths based approach, the Solo Homes initiative supports individuals to manage their tenancies in the community and improve their quality of life. Solo Homes is The Connection’s version of Housing First.

The Solo Homes, Women’s Service Pilot is an exciting and innovative extension to our specialist 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham for women from across South London who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage. The successful candidate will work with 6 of the women currently living in this service to move in to their own social tenancies.

Salary: £38,753 - £43,471 (scale points 23 – 28)

About the Role

This is a rewarding senior leadership role at an exciting time for LinkAble.
As Head of Services, you will join the Senior Leadership Team with the Chief Executive and Head of Finance. You will provide both strategic direction and hands‑on operational leadership, role‑modelling best practice and coaching staff across all children’s, young people’s and adult services. You will ensure services are safe, high‑quality, financially sustainable and continuously improving.

We have secured a two-year extension to our Short Breaks contract and expanded our adult services premises, creating strong opportunities for growth and innovation.

While the role oversees all services, you will directly manage children’s services day to day, supported by two Team Leaders. Adult services leadership is supported by the Adult Services Development Manager.

You will be responsible for:

• Strategic and operational leadership across all services
• Direct leadership of children and young people’s services (minimum 2 years’ experience with high‑support‑needs CYP required)
• Oversight of adult services, supported by the Adult Services Development Manager
• Management oversight of 60–80 sessional staff
• Contract management and commissioner relationships, especially with Surrey County Council
• Monitoring performance, outcomes and attendance
• Ensuring Ofsted and CQC compliance and robust safeguarding
• Developing three new income‑generating services (PA service, Post‑16 service, education for children not in school)
• Partnership building, networking and statutory funding

You will play a key role in ensuring LinkAble stays sustainable, responsive and ambitious within a changing external environment.

About You

We are looking for a values‑driven senior leader with:

• Significant management experience in the disability sector (e.g., special school, charity, children’s residential care)
• A credible, respectful and motivating leadership style
• Level 5 Education or Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities or autism with moderate to high support needs
• Experience with non-speaking children and/or behaviour that challenges, including de-escalation techniques
• Strong safeguarding, compliance and incident‑management knowledge
• Confidence identifying growth opportunities and diversifying income
• Related sector experience (physical disabilities, ABI or complex needs) also welcomed

You will be a visible, approachable and inspiring leader, able to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on operational presence.

Working Pattern

• Mon, Wed, Thu: 10:00–18:00
• Tue, Fri: 09:00–17:00

Flexibility is required for occasional evenings, weekends, on‑call duty and to work during school holiday playschemes.

Summary

We have an opportunity for a Marketing Specialist Apprentice to support the Central Quadrant of Harris secondary academies, helping to identify, attract and engage our communities.

Working with the Assistant Director and Principals from the Quadrant, you will have the opportunity to support with our Academy marketing strategies, including social media channels, newsletters, events and create graphic designs, images and videos for both organic and paid campaigns. You will also work with the Federation Talent Attraction Partner.

This is an apprentice role with a fixed-term duration of 18 months. Your learning will be supported by the completion of the Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship programme.

The Central Quadrant academies are based in Southwark, Lambeth, Wandsworth, Croydon and Bromley and the successful candidate will be part of the academy team. We can be flexible on your base academy within the Central Quadrant.

Main Areas of Responsibility

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies, primarily focussing on student and staff recruitment and improving brand awareness
• Designing and generating mixed media content for use on academy websites and relevant social media to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
• Managing day-to-day social media posting and platforms
• Helping to develop compelling campaigns that resonate with our target audiences
• Ensuring brand consistency across all communications and external media
• Writing, editing, proofreading and publishing press releases and academy newsletters
• Monitoring and adjusting campaigns to meet budget and performance objectives
• Using data analysis tools to record, interpret, and analyse campaign performance, and creating and delivering actionable reports driven by these insights
• Conducting ongoing research into audiences, preferences and trends
• Researching and generating ideas to maximise audience engagement
• Performing keyword research to identify trends and develop content which improves SEO, discoverability, and engagement

Role Purpose

To lead Trussell’s email and marketing CRM strategy and digital projects by creating insight‑led, compliant, and engaging digital communications and journeys that bring our story to life and drive programme outcomes.

This role is part of the Together with Trussell programme, the goal of which is to build stronger connections with our supporters, partners and donors to increase funding, campaigning, and other forms of support for our work.  As a member of an enabling programme, this role is focused on the successful delivery of the Together with Trussell programme outcomes, which underpin and enable the outcomes of our 5 external programmes – together contributing to the fulfilment of our long-term vision of a UK without the need for food banks.

Key Responsibilities

Email and CRM marketing

· Lead the design, content development and delivery of Trussell's email programme and related projects, optimising workflows, journeys and alignment with our audience strategy to deliver organisational goals.

Product leadership

· Overall product leadership of our customer marketing platform, Marketing Cloud, ensuring data models and digital ecosystem are optimised and compliant with data privacy laws and industry standards, protecting supporter data from cyber threats.

Analysis and insight and performance

· Implement digital tracking, attribution and measurement in line with established UTM governance and tagging standards to enable accurate tracking and optimisation.  Lead the supporter data function, ensuring accuracy and compliance of supporter data, working with business system teams to ensure reporting enables actionable decision making. 

Consultancy and stakeholder management

· Act as an expert inhouse consultant for programme teams providing advice and guidance to embed best practice, accessibility and innovation in digital communications, driving continuous improvement.

Digital marketing project management

· Lead digital marketing projects that deliver continuous improvement and compliance driving improved engagement with our audiences and programme outcomes.

 

Person Specification

Core Knowledge

· Deep understanding of CRM, CDP and marketing automation platforms. Experience of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud would be an advantage.

• You will help build and nurture relationships across our key regions, supporting the development of a connected, values-driven grassroots network that strengthens shared learning, collective advocacy and systems change.

• Working closely with partners, you will strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) systems, ensuring projects are ethical, evidence-based and grounded in lived realities. From developing practical tools to leading the collection of case studies, your work will translate complex impact evidence into clear, persuasive and compelling narratives for funders, media and wider audiences. Exceptional written communication skills are essential for success in this role.

• You will collaborate closely with Fundraising and Advocacy & Influencing teams to develop an Impact Compendium and support appeals, while helping implement Population Matters’ organisational MEAL framework across all goals and programmes.
