What we’re looking for:
- Someone who will support the success of the Regional Fundraising team by coordinating a range of processes, projects and ways of working to create better collaboration and consistency across the team, enabling us to meet our team objectives of securing sustainable income.
- Someone who can monitor and take ownership of all regular Regional Processes e.g. Monthly financial reporting, basic database (CARE) checks/reporting, risk assessment process, setting up team meeting and conducting research.
- Someone with a data driven mindset and confident in representing the team’s data needs to other teams such as Data team and CRM Migration team.
- Someone confident in liaising with other teams across the charity as needed (e.g. obtaining data from data team, bringing back key information on upcoming campaigns etc).

About the role
The UK government’s resettlement programmes (such as UKRS, ARAP as well as other UK Resettlement Schemes) support refugees who are selected and processed in the region of origin and brought to the UK with their status already determined. Under this scheme, a specific quota of refugees will be coming to the UK for resettlement. The Refugee Council has agreed to work in partnership with Migration Yorkshire and Local Authorities across Yorkshire and Humberside to deliver the regional programme.
The Refugee Council resettlement team provides advice and support for resettled refugees to help them adjust to live in the UK, access services and mainstream provision and establish community links. Working with the Resettlement Team Manager and the rest of the team, the Community Development Worker will enable newly arrived refugees to take an active role in their successful resettlement through initiatives involving both the communities of new arrivals and the wider community.
Working closely with local stakeholders and in partnership with other voluntary sector agencies running similar services across the UK, the Refugee Council resettlement team in Yorkshire and Humberside promotes both the integration and independence of resettled refugees. By promoting successful resettlement through community development projects, helping newly arrived refugees fulfil their needs and aspirations for their new life in the UK and establishing strong links with the wider community. This post will work with refugees at different stages of the resettlement programme.

About You and the Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of the organisation’s marketing work spanning advertising, social media, print, content creation, data capture and intelligence gathering, evaluation and reporting.

This new role of Strategic Partnership Lead: Physical Activity and Health (Warwickshire) has been created as a result of securing funding through Sport England Place Investment (Place Universal Offer) for Warwickshire. The role will lead the strategic direction of our place-based work across Warwickshire, with a predominant focus on Warwickshire North Place as identified by need.
The development of this role reflects the strategic relevance of physical activity in Warwickshire, particularly at a place-level. About the role:
This role will work across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, but will be based in our Stafford office. Hybrid working is considered following our mandatory six month probationary period. Travel across the whole of Staffordshire will be required.

The purpose of the role is to utilise effective and efficient administrative and fundraising skills to assist in delivering both financial and non-financial targets which will provide a gateway to all fundraising activity across Maggie’s.
As Centre Fundraiser, you will assist the Centre Fundraising Manager to implement the fundraising strategy to deliver income targets through proactive donor recruitment and excellent donor care.
This includes supporting and retaining existing supporters and researching new key relationships with individuals as well as partnerships with local businesses, groups and associations.
You will represent the work, vision and purpose of Maggie’s whilst supporting the delivery of local and central fundraising initiatives and campaigns. This includes presentations, face to face, telephone and written communications.
There will be a requirement to work irregular hours as well as frequent local travel.

As an Employment Consultant, you will be assisting veterans across the region back into work. Based at your home, but with extensive travel, you will help with application materials, overcome challenges, and connect with employers. You will also work alongside professionals in other services such as health or welfare to ensure that the veterans have access to all the support they need to overcome barriers to gain and retain employment.

Overview:
Tracheo-Oesophageal Fistula Support (TOFS) is the only UK charity providing support and information to born with oesophageal atresia and/or tracheo-oesophageal fistula (OA/TOF). These rare congenital conditions can have long-lasting consequences, and our mission is to inform and empower those affected to better equip them to live long and healthy lives. We get no statutory funding, and we’re very fortunate to have an amazing fundraising community. This year to date, almost 80% of our income was from members’ fundraising, which is incredible.
We need an office and fundraising administrator who will help make every supporter feel valued, and have overall responsibility for entering all financial data into QuickBooks. A key part of the role is liaising with fundraisers and administrating and facilitating the fundraising process.
We are looking for an experienced individual, who can work with little supervision, and is able to manage workload to meet reporting deadlines. Reporting to the CEO (and with significant interaction with the volunteer Treasurer), the office and fundraising administrator undertakes a range of administration and finance tasks to support office management, financial management and fundraising, and is one of the first points of contact for our supporters and members.
The role is pivotal in ensuring that our administrative and fundraising functions run smoothly, supporting fundraisers, members, trustees and team effectively.
Knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar accounting software system is essential.
Depending on the experience and interest of the successful candidate there may be opportunities to develop other skill sets.
Key areas of responsibility
- Managing and organising detailed information that underpins TOFS financial management
- Liaising with fundraisers and administrating and facilitating the fundraising process

Financial management:

What we’re looking for:
Essential experience/knowledge:
- Experience and proficiency with QuickBooks, or similar accounting software systems such as Xero or Sage
- A good understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping
- Hands-on experience with banking relationships, payment processing and invoice management

- Proficient use of MS Office, and comfortable using new fundraising platforms
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- High level of organisation and reliability
