We are recruiting a Marketing Lead (Maternity Cover) who will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans and delivering campaigns and activity that engages the public through music, art, gaming, sport and other creative industries (including film, fashion and TV) for campaigns including BRITS Week, Secret 7”, Sound and Vision, Jingle Jam, War Child Record releases and other exciting arts, music, gaming and partnership opportunities.

You will activate these campaigns with the goal of generating funds and increasing our brand presence. Reporting to the Head of Communications and Campaigns, your role will include line managing three members of the Communications and Campaigns Team, as well as project managing external agencies, to deliver high performing integrated communications and marketing activity across digital channels, PR, digital marketing, design, content and narrative creation.

You will be the marketing expert for the organisation, working side by side with creative teams across the organisation to design marketing and communications plans, ensuring that the creative, content and narrative elements add significant value, and most importantly provide a WOW factor to our work. You will both be able to come up with imaginative ideas and ensure they are implemented to a high standard but also have exceptional organisational and project management skills that bring this work together.

This role is offered as an 11-month maternity cover contract, ideally starting in mid-April.

Job summary

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team to create, deliver and analyse integrated marketing plans that utilise the full marketing mix to extend the reach and maximize the sales of BookTrust’s traded reading programmes to schools.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for using data and insight to develop and deliver marketing activity to support a wide range of BookTrust campaigns, events and initiatives to meet our ambitious targets. You’ll establish an ongoing evaluation process and utilise sector and customer insight to continually improve our marketing. 

Experience of working across multiple campaigns in an agile way and prioritising your workload effectively is essential. 

The ideal candidate will have a breadth of marketing skills and experience and a proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues across the charity to deliver marketing campaigns and activity to a consistently high standard. 

The successful candidate must have at least three years of marketing experience, have previously worked in a B2B, traded and/or commercial marketing role at a similar level including people management experience.

Your Mission

• Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Social Challenges Manager, the role will support day-to-day paid social delivery on Meta, using data, insight and testing to continuously improve results.

Responsibilities

Paid Social for Social Challenges (c.50% of role)

• Build, manage and optimise paid social campaigns on Meta to recruit participants into CALM’s Social Challenges.

Wider Digital Support

• Provide day-to-day cover for the Performance Marketing Manager during periods of leave, ensuring paid social campaigns continue to run smoothly and effectively.

• Support delivery of core marketing activity as required, including organic social, campaign optimisation, and reporting.

• Provide practical cover for the Social Media Manager when needed, supporting scheduling, publishing and basic community management to maintain a consistent social presence.

• Work with content colleagues to support drafting and optimising web and social content.

Evaluation and Evidence Specialist

We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

Job Summary for Evaluation and Evidence Specialist

This role forms a key part of a new Strategy & Insight Team at Bowel Cancer UK, which seeks to build core capabilities to enable us to be as effective as we can be for people affected by bowel cancer. The Evaluation and Evidence Specialist will be an internal leader driving a step-change in the way we understand and articulate our impact, as well as how we use evidence in our work. You will be responsible for delivering evaluations of high-priority activities, as well as supporting other teams to evaluate the impact of their area. You will drive a cultural shift in evidence-based decision making where the charity begins to move from reacting to evidence to proactively generating its own evidence. You will ensure that insight, evidence and impact are delivered in a useful way to colleagues to support planning, decisions, income generation and communications.

Main responsibilities

• Lead a step-change in the way Bowel Cancer UK approaches evaluation, impact, and evidence.
• Develop evaluation frameworks for Bowel Cancer UK’s high-priority programmes and projects, ensuring that they can demonstrate the impact of our work.
• Develop, maintain and renew a set of compelling impact statements that support Bowel Cancer UK’s brand and meets the needs of other teams in engaging their key audiences.
• Establish a programme of routine evaluation for key ongoing activities across the charity, which can demonstrate effectiveness and cost-effectiveness.
• Proactively provide analysis of internal and external evidence sources to deliver meaningful insight for the organisation.
• Support teams to identify the evidence they require, including checking to ensure evidence is used consistently and robustly.
• Develop our capability in how evidence is presented to different audiences, including through data visualisation.
• Develop and maintain a central repository for evaluation and key evidence for the organisation to use.
• Identify gaps in evaluation and evidence and develop plans for how these can be addressed.
• Provide training and development opportunities to colleagues to upskill on the best approaches to evaluation and evidence.

Turtle Key Arts – London (Lyric Hammersmith)

Turtle Key Arts is seeking an experienced and motivated Development Lead to join our small, dynamic team. This new role will be central to delivering our fundraising strategy, building on our long-standing reputation as creative producers of ground-breaking inclusive arts projects.

Working 3 days a week alongside the CEO, Artistic Director and Trustees, you will:

• Lead on fundraising across trusts & foundations, corporate and individual giving
• Build relationships with funders and partners to secure new multi-year income
• Strengthen donor stewardship and embed a culture of philanthropy across the charity
• Enhance our fundraising systems and communications (Donorfy CRM)
• Advocate for Turtle Key Arts and our mission of delivering inclusive arts for underrepresented communities

We are looking for someone with:

• A successful track record in fundraising for arts/charities
• Target driven
• Excellent writing and relationship-building skills
• Confidence managing multiple priorities in a small team
• A commitment to inclusion and access in the arts

Contract: Part-time, 3 days per week (fixed-term, 3 years with ambition to extend subject to funding)
Location: Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, London W6 0QL
Salary: £45,000 per annum, pro rata
Start date: April 2026 (exact start date negotiable)

A small, well-established charity that sits within a large, high profile group structure. They are based in Central London.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead on the production and audit of the organisation's financial year-end, ensuring accounting standards are adhered to and compliance matters are met in accordance with FRS 102/Charity SORP. You will be a key contributor in the production of the annual report and accounts and will liaise with the auditors to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The anticipated duration is two months+. Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the office.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Accountant with strong, recent experience of charity year-end accounting.
