Job Title: Member and Supporter Acquisition Lead (Maternity Cover)

*This role sits within a pay grade with a pay range of £33,367 to £50,051. The salary on appointment will be set at the lower end of the pay range, to a maximum of £41,709 depending on the candidate's skills and experience. This approach aims to ensure fair compensation for new hires while maintaining alignment with the structured pay scale for the role.

Context and purpose of role
At the heart of the Ramblers lies our community of over 100,000 members and supporters, enabling us to fulfil our charitable mission across the length and breadth of Great Britain.
You will drive the growth of the organisation's membership and supporter base through strategic marketing, outreach, and engagement efforts.
This role is vital for expanding the Ramblers reach, enhancing its financial stability, and strengthening its community impact. You will develop and implement effective acquisition strategies, engage potential members and supporters, and foster long-term relationships aligned with the organisation's mission and values. You are a subject-matter expert in fundraising acquisition and digital marketing.
Key responsibilities

Deliver the Ramblers membership acquisition programme to attract and retain new members and supporters. This includes integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns (including digital and face-to-face) and a test-and-learn approach to optimise conversion rates, sales, ROI and life-time value, with support from the Head of Member and Supporter Experience. At the Ramblers our current key acquisition channels are Digital Marketing, telemarketing and private site.

Manage our welcome and reactivation programmes (email, mail and telephone).

Using evidence-based insights, work with the Head of Member and Supporter Experience to evolve the membership proposition (embedding Ramblers new digital assets, platforms, products, offers) to enhance our relevance and reach.

Manage the acquisition budget of c£500k, producing timely reports to the Head of Member and Supporter Experience on income, expenditure and KPIs to monitor performance against plans. Lead the reforecast process for key lines accountable for and support the budget process.

Lead key acquisition projects across the organisation, delivering to time and budget.

Ensure regulatory compliance is embedded across team processes and communications in areas such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), Gift Aid, and the Fundraising Regulator. Ensure any agencies used adhere to the high standards we set.

Work across teams to develop and deliver engaging supporter journeys that enhance and deepen supporters’ experience of the Ramblers.

Agency and supplier management – manage and develop strategic relationships with our agencies, including the management of SLAs and performance measures, ensuring consistently high levels of performance.

Consult, equip and support the Ramblers GB-wide network of volunteer ‘membership ambassadors’ providing tools and resources to grow membership.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Interim Visiting Caseworker to join our Services & Grants team for 12 months. This home-based role will support clients across the North West of England, with regular travel to meet clients and work with partners.

About the role
We are looking for a passionate and inspirational individual to lead our Patient Support service across Scotland & Northern Ireland. You and your team will reach kidney patients at their point of need and ensure they are supported or signposted to the services that will improve their wellbeing and maximise outcomes in line with the objectives of the service as directed by the Programme Manager/Head of Service.

Key Responsibilities

- Through in-person attendance at stakeholder events and meetings, build strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers in health and care commissioning and delivery in your region.
- Develop and maintain effective monitoring and measurement to demonstrate the outputs and effectiveness of the service and its impact on patient experience and outcomes.
- Using data and insight, report internally and externally with updates on regional issues, needs and challenges to inform service development.

About you
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Understanding of the workings of NHS patient care pathways.
- Experience of delivering patient support services in a kidney or related health condition environment.
- Understanding of kidney disease and the needs of people with kidney disease, their families and their carers.
- The ability to influence, inspire and effectively manage a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to listen, with experience in building credibility with senior external stakeholders and managing relationships with diplomacy.

Reporting to the Interim Finance Director, the Governance Manager will lead and coordinate governance, compliance and organisational processes across CILIP.

ABOUT YOU

- Experience supporting governance within a charity, membership body or similar organisation.

About the role
As Digital Marketer, you'll play a key role in creating and delivering engaging marketing content across Life Cycle’s digital channels, including social media, email, website and digital advertising platforms. Working closely with the Marketing Lead, you will help turn campaign plans into clear, creative and effective content that grows awareness, increases participation and supports fundraising objectives.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality digital content, including social media posts, graphics, short-form video, email copy, digital flyers and website content. Where needed, you will also produce non-digital branded materials that support our digital campaigns.
You will then monitor content performance and analytics, and work with colleagues – and external experts – to identify opportunities to improve results. Job Purpose
The Mullany Fund (TMF) is an award-winning South Wales charity focused on increasing social mobility through education. The role oversees the strategic direction and delivery of TMF’s bilingual e-mentoring programme (Together Making Futures), supporting disadvantaged young people aged 14-19 in Wales. The manager will be supported by an admin assistant to deliver programme operations and stakeholder communications. The programme manager will help maintain and grow stakeholder relationships, continually improve programme resources to ensure impactful mentoring and sustained engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to fundraising, by writing grant applications, and sustainability strategies.
- Lead and manage the e-mentoring programme, including strategic planning, financial oversight, and reporting to trustees and donors.
- Oversee and deliver e-mentoring sessions, Insight talks, Future Routes programme and expand work experience placements for mentees with local STEM employers..
- Maintain and develop relationships with education providers, mentors, mentees, business, industry, and university partners.
- Manage communications with stakeholders, including day-to-day queries, press requests, and public relations.
- Support mentor and mentee registrations, DBS checks, and database management.
- Develop and deliver weekly themes, messages, and training materials.
- Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes, including quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
- Support recruitment and engagement of mentors and mentees alongside the Growth and Engagement Officer.
- Develop TMF’s social media and digital presence alongside the admin and communication assistant.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and equal opportunities policies are upheld.
- Organise trustee meetings, facilitate action points, and maintain project documentation.
- Undertake other duties as required to support the charity’s mission.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English; A Levels and Degree (or equivalent).
