Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to support the Global Programmes’ communications coordinator in implementing the developing contents and multi-media assets that showcase the work and the impact that the global programmes are making. In this role you’ll get to learn about our innovative programmatic work and you’ll have opportunities to showcase change stories, good practices, and interact with young women who through Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting are shaping the world they want to see.

About You:

This person will be assist in planning, writing, and managing website content and social media posts. This will be more focused towards multimedia assets (graphics, videos/reels, carousels, GIFs, infographics, social media stories, interactive content, banners, digital posters).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Global Programmes communications coordinator in the implementation of the communications work plan and activities.

2. Assist in planning, writing, and managing website content and social media posts. This will be more focused towards multimedia assets (graphics, videos/reels, carousels, GIFs, infographics, social media stories, interactive content, banners, digital posters).

3. Assist in the updating of the organisation website using WordPress with current events, relevant news, etc.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team of School Coordinators in Wales.

Living Streets has successfully obtained funding from the Welsh Government to deliver a further year of the national Walk To School programme – engaging 200 primary schools, 25 Early Years settings and 42 secondary schools until March 2026.

You will be part of a team providing remote and direct support to a pool of early years settings, primary and secondary schools across Wales. The School Coordinator will have a target to recruit schools to the programme and coordinate the planned distribution of resources and supporting materials. You will be responsible for engaging and retaining schools to as part of the communication plan and responding to any issues raised. On occasion you will be required to visit individual schools and re-engage schools through various activities such as pupil assemblies. 

Good attention to detail and the ability to recruit, support and engage schools remotely will also be essential to this role.

You thrive on bringing together data from complex datasets and presenting straightforwardly for varied audiences. You have great technical skills and are equally comfortable enhancing an existing dashboard in Power BI as building one from scratch. You are confident coding in SQL, DAX and M code but value simplicity when solving problems.

You understand the importance of accuracy and consistency of reported data alongside engaging content. You enjoy working with stakeholders to really understand their needs. Your curiosity and enthusiasm lead you to explore new techniques and seek continuous improvement. Job Purpose: 

We are entering an exciting phase for the #iwill Movement, with the #iwill Fund looking to invest in a first wave of Towns and Cities of youth social action. To support this, the Department of Culture Media and Sport are making a direct investment in the #will Movement to support the mobilization of Towns and Cities, and we now require three new Place Partnership Managers in the #iWill Movement to work alongside local stakeholders to support their mobilisation of their Town or City of social action.

This role will have a specific focus in identified towns/cities/places in England, working with young people and partners to create conditions for youth led place-based change, as part of the #iWill Movement’s Town and Cities of social action agenda.

The role will take the best practice from existing work in Ipswich, Manchester and Blackpool to create guiding principles for establishing local governance and partnerships that can support a Town or City of Youth Social action to be created.

The role will liaise with local stakeholders to support their funding bid to the #iwill Fund, ensuring young people are in the lead and sponsoring applications. The role will support and influence organisations in agreed Towns and Cities to sign the Power of Youth Charter and make strategic commitments to support young people through the #iwill Movement.

The role will also support local places to construct movement building and income generation plans to ensure ongoing investment from local stakeholders beyond the period of funding award. 

This role requires someone rooted in the practice of community based and youth led change, with experience in facilitation and the ability to manage complex partnerships and influence a variety of stakeholders, including through income generation activities.

- Working with Heads of Departments across all directorates to deliver SME-specific training both virtual and in-person
- Conducting research to support the planning and delivery of safeguarding training
- Evaluating case reviews and trends analysis, to inform training

This role requires regular travel and overnight stays across the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) to deliver learning interventions to meet the needs of colleagues. The expectation is twice-three times a week on average and there is also a requirement to attend Haig House once a month for team meetings and to build relationships with colleagues outside of delivering training.

As one of two PR Managers, you'll be the key point of contact for all PR communications, helping to develop and execute forward-thinking PR plans and strategies. Responsible for implementing and managing a proactive PR activity schedule, you’ll craft compelling content to entice journalists and the media to support our work. Responding reactively to requests the charity receives.

Championing best practices in PR, you’ll drive effective, integrated campaigns across the UK, ensuring a cohesive approach to both traditional and digital media.

Diving into projects such as Deaf Awareness Week, our ‘It does matter’, access to Ear Wax removal services and major healthcare campaigns, you’ll raise awareness of the barriers facing the 18m people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus, getting these issues on the national agenda, starting conversations around hearing health.

You'll also be celebrating inclusion, working the UK's biggest TV shows, and campaigning for equal access to healthcare.

You will be responsible for:

• Coordinating our PR content calendar, creating and curating inspiring and shareable materials that resonate with our target audiences,reporting on performance against KPIs and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Managing media and stakeholder relationships, ensuring timely, engaging, and brand-appropriate responses to queries and feedback.

• Acting as the first point of contact for reactive media inquiries, providing prompt and effective responses to manage and shape media coverage.

• Overseeing PR project management for campaigns, collaborating with colleagues across the MarComms team.

• Championing PR best practices. Advising and assisting teams, applying insights from performance analysis to ensure all PR content is designed to maximise reach, engagement, and impact.

• Conducting media monitoring and PR analysis to identify trends and reputational issues.

• Tracking the success of PR initiatives, providing feedback to project teams on effective strategies and areas for improvement.

• Working with our Stories and Celebrity Managers to identify and engage new case studies and high-profile individuals, and deliver impactful stories or celebrity-led campaigns.

• Share success and media coverage across RNID, working with the Internal comms team to celebrate and show the value of PR and involve the whole organisation in our work

• Supporting spokespeople from across RNID, case studies, celebrities and influencers with high profile media interviews including developing media briefings and key messages and providing feedback

• Play a key role in the PR & Comms team, ensuring that PR, social media, celebrity and storytelling works together to deliver maximum impact

You will have experience of driving forward and managing a PR function and possess a thorough understanding of how various PR channels function and how content is best delivered, staying current with industry trends.

About you

Myeloma UK is looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to join our growing Community and Events team.  You’ll be joining the team as we continue to refine and expand our mass participation events portfolio including London Paris Ride, Great North Run and 100 miles for myeloma. You will have experience in event delivery or project planning, delivering these activities within tight deadlines while successfully building effective relationships.

The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team.  You will be self-motivated and able to work remotely with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks and having an interest in sporting and mass participation fundraising events.

Previous experience or knowledge of digital marketing, virtual fundraising events and using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential. 

About the role

As the Events Fundraiser you will be required to research, promote and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and activities, providing excellent stewardship to supporters, whilst working to help achieve monthly fundraising income targets.  You will work to deliver an annual calendar of runs, walks, challenge and sporting events across the UK as well increasing support through Myeloma UK virtual and Facebook events.

The role holder will work with the Senior Event Development Fundraiser to provide the highest quality of event delivery as well as developing relationships, securing support, marketing, delivering and monitoring the event ensuring post event evaluation and future recommendations are made.  They will also work closely with Community Fundraisers, supporting them as they identify opportunities to expand and diversify their fundraising portfolio.

You will work with other teams, develop materials required to support all marketing and promotion of events, ensuring organisational brand, style and key messages are adopted and ensure maximum use of database and other technology to increase operational efficiency within event fundraising.

Job Purpose: 

The Community Fundraising and Events Lead role is key to us as we explore fundraising opportunities on a local level in our communities. The successful candidate will support Community Fundraising Volunteers as they take part in various challenge and fundraising events across England, Scotland and Wales, helping us to reach our goals of growing our unrestricted revenue base. The role sits within Volunteering Matters’ core Partnerships Team, where we lead on generating income for the charity alongside brokering new partnerships with stakeholders.

You will help lead the implementation of our Community Fundraising and events approaches across the UK, working closely with our regional Project and Programme Delivery Teams to engage Community Fundraising Volunteers, raising money for our projects alongside the core functions of the charity. The successful candidate will work collaboratively, as we believe our places are crucial to us.

This will include supporting events that provide key touch points with our organisation and the people we engage such as project open days or specific-focus events. People know their communities best, and the role will require showcasing our work to new and existing audiences, potential supporters and individual donors. You will play a key role in ensuring our work can continue to engage and support communities well into the future & build our partnerships.
