Job description

Men are dying too young – and it doesn’t have to be that way.

Around the world, men are facing a health crisis: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and suicide. At Movember we’re on a mission to change the face of men’s health by making it easier for men to talk, act and live longer healthier lives.

Every project, every campaign, every idea adds up to real change. You’ll be part of a purpose-fueled crew who believe making an impact and having fun should go hand in hand. Your mission is calling.

DO GOOD. Work for Movember.

Your Mo-Mission (should you choose to accept it):

Some of the most important partnerships Movember will ever build won’t be measured in dollars raised. They’ll be measured in credibility earned, policy shaped, and reach into the communities and institutions that determine how men’s health is understood, funded, and addressed.

As Strategic Impact Partnerships Manager, you’ll build and manage Movember’s portfolio of mission-aligned partnerships across the UK, working with research institutions, NGOs, sector bodies, professional associations, and advocacy organisations whose primary value to Movember is what they know, who they reach, or who they have the ear of. These are the partners who make Movember’s programs more credible, more scalable, and more influential, particularly with the organisations and individuals who shape government policy, public discourse, and sector practice around men’s health across suicide prevention, mental health, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.

You’ll own the full partnership lifecycle from identification and proposition development through to activation, stewardship, and review. That means mapping the policy and influence environment, building compelling mutual value propositions, developing co-investment, grant, or in-kind contribution arrangements where appropriate, and maintaining the kind of trust-based relationships that deepen over time rather than plateau after the first year.

Critically, this role requires genuine commercial fluency alongside mission expertise. Strategic impact partners often represent latent opportunities to grow the Movember movement through fundraising activation, brand association, or income generation. Recognising those opportunities, knowing when and how to raise them, and doing so without compromising the mission relationship is a core part of the role.

You’ll work closely with Portfolio Leads, the Institute and Impact team, the Advocacy and Policy leads, and the Marketing and Communications team, acting as the connective tissue between external partners and the internal teams who can put their expertise, networks, and advocacy to work.

No Moustache Required - but the following are:

  • Deep understanding of the men’s health landscape, including the research, policy, advocacy, and sector bodies that shape it, with the ability to map and navigate the policy and influence environment to build credibility, access, and advocacy weight through strategic partnerships.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage partnerships where the primary value exchange is mission-based rather than financial, and to articulate that value clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Skilled at identifying and structuring partnerships with diverse organisations, from large research institutions to small specialist advocacy groups.

  • A self-starter who proactively identifies and develops new opportunities rather than waiting for them to arrive.

  • Ability to build trust and credibility quickly with senior stakeholders in academic, NGO, and sector body contexts, and to sustain those relationships over the long term.

  • Understands when and how to introduce financial or in-kind elements into a mission partnership without distorting the relationship.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to assess the long-term positioning and credibility value of a potential partner, not just their immediate utility.

  • Able to bring together communities of impact partners to work in coalition and align on joint goals.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high-quality proposals, briefings, and partnership reviews, with the ability to translate complex impact and research information into compelling, accessible narratives.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools for pipeline tracking and relationship management.

Not Mission Critical - but for extra bonus points:

  • Knowledge of men’s health, specifically prostate cancer.

GOOD CAUSE:

Working for Movember, you’ll help turn ideas (and moustaches) into millions for men’s health. Every bit we raise changes the face of men’s health by funding research, improving treatments, and supporting programs that help save lives.

We’re even shaping government policies on men’s health worldwide. By meeting directly with lawmakers, and helping them understand how more investment on men’s health benefits not just men, but all the communities they serve.

GOOD VIBES:

We love weekends. That’s why our Fridays finish early for nine months of the year. But we also love our office vibe. Because here, it always feels like something big is about to happen. Be it an office-wide surprise birthday party (with cake!) or an open invite for all to hit the pub.

Come the hairy season, the energy cranks up. We’re talking celebrity visits. Live stunts on-site for TV and radio. And when we hit a fundraising milestone, the office gong might even go off. But, for those who prefer calm, no probs: hybrid working means you work where you feel best.

GOOD CREW:

Spoiler alert: we’re a no-ego, all-impact crew. That means everyone gets a say, from new starters to those leading the charge. Collaboration over hierarchies, curiosity over rigid process. And it’s true across all our offices worldwide. We work as one, sharing expertise and celebrating wins. All in the name of making the biggest impact across the globe. United, we Mo.

We offer:

  • Hybrid/Flexible working – we offer our team a split of home and office working

  • 13 weeks paid Parental Leave and 6 weeks annual leave

  • Health Cash Plan – to support the costs of everyday healthcare needs (dental, optical, wellbeing)

  • An Employee Assistance Programme offering face to face counselling, plus legal and financial support

  • A fun stimulating and collaborating culture, with company events

  • Service awards after 3, 5 and 10 year

  • Committees to join – Culture team, Equity Diversity & Inclusion

  • Bike to work scheme

  • Half day Fridays for 9 months of the year

Being different is how we started. And it’s also helped us raise $1 billion for men’s health. So, we know the power of diverse experiences, skills and perspectives.

Movember is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community and workplace - a place where we can all be ourselves, and each have the equal opportunity to succeed and be recognised for our unique contribution. We value the experiences, skills and perspectives of all individuals and actively encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds. We make recruitment decisions based on applicants’ skills, experience and knowledge, ensuring all applicants are treated fairly.

Do you want to DO GOOD?
If so, we’d love to hear from you.
