This is an exciting opportunity to support the work of a small psychotherapy and mental health charity 

Working alongside our office administrator and houses coordinator, you will support the Chair and Treasurer to ensure the smooth running of the finances of the organization.

This is a permanent role for the equivalent of one day a week (8 hours) hybrid working. You will be based in our office in Hampstead, London one afternoon a week (day can be negotiated), and the other hours will be worked when needed. Please state in your application which days you are able to work.

Salary is £40,000 WTE, plus paid annual leave and pension contribution.

You will also be eligible for free places on the Philadelphia Association study programme courses.

Start date: as soon as possible. You will receive handover from the current finance coordinator, who will remain in post until you can start.

This is a unique retail opportunity where you will also be involved in delivering on the job training for Crisis members, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence needed in the workplace. You will work collaboratively with your team and will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression.

Job Purpose:

The volunteer officer will report to the volunteer manager.

Summary of the Role

STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our targeted prevention work disrupts the criminal business of human trafficking, making it too high-risk and low-profit to be viable.

This role will lead on our work to prevent recruitment of vulnerable people, overseeing our global prevention programmes that reach high-risk communities with lifesaving information, typically via social media (through partnership with companies like Meta & TikTok). It will also lead on our data gathering initiatives, and on the development of our new product, the Safety Centre.

The Head of Prevention is responsible for ensuring our programmes are high quality, effective, leading on safeguarding as well as monitoring and reporting impact to drive future funding.

Summary of Responsibilities

Team Management & Leadership:

· Manage a multi-disciplinary team that works together to deliver prevention programmes, bring in partner data for our Traffik Analysis Hub, and develop software and data tools for vulnerable communities.

· With support from the Director of Intelligence and Prevention, oversee the flow of intelligence resulting from prevention programmes, including the safeguarding of individuals at risk.

· Manage relationships with funders and partners.

· Manage data experts focused on bringing in high quality data to our Traffik Analysis Hub and leverage those insights to build effective prevention programmes.

· Work within the Senior Leadership Team to ensure organisational strategic focus against annual impact and income targets.

· Work alongside the Development Team to deliver funding bids and pitches for further prevention programmes.

Programme Delivery & Product Oversight:

· Oversee all prevention programmes to ensure we reach the right audience based on intelligence with effective messaging.

· Oversee all intelligence collection and safeguarding while key campaigns are live, providing a trauma-informed and person-centred approach.

· Monitor, capture, and communicate the impact of prevention programmes to evidence our methodology, and drive further funding.

· Improve and innovate our programmes to scale, overseeing the build of our new Safety Centre, a 24/7 platform leveraging AI to provide round-the-clock prevention, supporting our Full Stack Developer and supported by our senior solutions architect.

· Monitor and review social media performance for prevention campaigns and suggest ways to improve reach and engagement.

· Support the Data Engagement Manager to build and maintain relationships to effectively source data for our Traffik Analysis Hub.

· Capture and articulate use cases for the TA Hub to support marketing and partner engagement.

· Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to craft compelling content tailored to specific audiences and interpret feedback and data to refine messaging.

· Skilled at building trusted relationships and influencing others in the sector.

· 3+ years working in social media targeting, content production, and metrics tracking.

· Highly organised and resourceful self-starter with strong attention to detail.

· Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities effectively.

· Strong analytical and reporting acumen, able to effectively measure, interpret, and capture the impact of programmatic and intelligence-led work.

· Creative and adaptive, with a curiosity for innovation, social media and tech platforms.

· Deep sense of empathy and commitment to STOP THE TRAFFIK’s mission, with the ability to connect data and human stories to drive preventative action.

In this role you’ll manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships including a large, strategic partnership, that will raise significant funds (1m+) for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) whilst delivering wider value for the organisation and our partners.

You’ll be responsible for building brilliant relationships across the partnership portfolio and leveraging these to develop and deliver fundraising activity. You will devise and deliver strategic growth plans, utilising support and expertise from across the organisation to support your partnership goals, progress, and impact. 

Working arrangements 

This is a 2-year fixed term contract from start date. Start date is ASAP. 

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home, our London office, and your corporate partner locations. This is a fundraising role where travel is expected to partner locations for meetings and events. On average, you’ll spend at least one day per week in the office, with around one additional partner‑site visit each week. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause. 
 
About You 
 
As our ideal candidate, you bring experience working across a variety of corporate partnerships which could include strategic, commercial, and charity of the year opportunities, as well as proven experience in managing cross-organisational projects, preferably with a focus on income generation. 
 
A self-starter with initiative and drive, you have a broad knowledge of corporate fundraising, experience of relationship management, and a proven track record of delivering actionable plans efficiently and effectively.

Summary of the role:

The Community Fundraising Assistant (Ramadan Campaign) plays a crucial role during Ramadan. The role provides critical support in fundraising collections and events.  The role will involve working occasional unsociable hours (weekends and evenings) and national travel, sometimes at short notice, during the Ramadan period to maximise our income generating opportunities.

About the Role:

1. The main responsibilities of the role are lister below.  Other tasks may be assigned on an ad hoc basis in support of our Ramadan fundraising activities.
2. Attend mosques and Islamic institutions to collect donations and pledges in response to Muslim Aid’s appeals, supporting mosque collections through fundraising, data capture, and donor engagement.
3. Set up and break down fundraising events, assisting with event setup, registration, and coordination across multiple venues.
4. Provide administrative and logistical assistance before, during, and after events to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
5. Assist in the logistical coordination of Muslim Aid’s Live Appeals, helping to ensure all operational and support activities run effectively.
6. Support and assist volunteers in running and managing fundraising activities, providing guidance and ensuring a positive experience for supporters. 

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Able to work unsociable hours at evenings and weekends.
2. Passion and commitment to Muslim Aid’s mission and values.
