Our charity is growing and we are now seeking a calm, professional and organised Finance Assistant for our Head Office to help our small team become even more efficient in serving older residents in the borough.

We are looking for an administrator to support the Home Together Coordinator to facilitate our Home Together Service. The Home Together Service provides reactive assistance for up to six weeks from a clients return from hospital and remote ongoing support thereafter. The Home Together Administrator assists the Home Together Coordinator to deliver a wide range of practical and emotional support to older people who are having difficulties; for example, older people who have recently been discharged from hospital and/or are recovering from illness or injury, and/or are socially isolated and need support to stay healthy, connected, and independent. This busy and varied role will involve working with volunteers, the staff team, voluntary partners, and health and social care providers, with the client at the centre of everything we do.  The Home Together Service sits within our Age Well Together Service, which offers a range of assistance to support clients at home and in their local community to prevent decline; maintain independence; reduce social isolation; and promote health and wellbeing with care, friendship and understanding. This includes our befriending services, an online shopping service and a Handyperson service.

We're urging competition regulators worldwide to stop Google’s theft of independent news. We’ve filed the UK’s first legal challenge to a data centre permission decision, forced disclosure of secret contracts between tech giants and the NHS, stopped a racist Home Office visa streaming algorithm, helped make grading fair for UK A-level students and challenged the Department of Work and Pension’s use of an algorithm unfairly flagging disabled people for benefit fraud investigations.   

We are a small but growing team of lawyers, communications experts, and campaigners. We are a CIC, not a practising law firm. We partner with legal firms on cases, directing litigation in multiple jurisdictions. Our work is global, and we work in partnership with lawyers, civil society, unions, and people impacted by Big Tech.

About you

You are a highly experienced lawyer with a strong interest in using the law to hold governments and companies to account. You see the law as a tool for structural change, not just individual wins. You're a sharp, compelling writer who can make complex legal arguments land with different audiences. The role

The post holder will work alongside our Co-Executive Director, Head of Legal and Legal Administrator in developing and managing Foxglove’s legal work. You will develop and drive forward a significant number and range of cases, including the development of case theories, investigating and collecting evidence, drafting correspondence, evidence and submissions. You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing external legal teams, in multiple jurisdictions. This will require you to have the comfort and ability to navigate diverse settings, while also having the insight to weigh up the benefits and challenges of pursuing cases in different jurisdictions. You will serve as an external representative for Foxglove’s work, writing and speaking on topics of relevance. You will also be a sparring partner for others in the team, bringing a creative mindset and political savviness. UK and international travel are required. Flexibility with working hours will sometimes be needed.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Case Development and Management

• Build connections, and listen to affected communities, unearth and pursue issues caused by tech injustice, coming up with innovative legal solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with impacted community members, unions, other lawyers, experts, co-counsel, intervenors, civil society organisations, whistleblowers, and the public.

Person Specification

Essential

• Substantial experience in legal practice and conducting litigation and a demonstrated understanding of litigation strategies.
• Creative thinking and imagination.
• A strong interest in using the law to hold governments and companies to account.
• Qualified lawyer in any jurisdiction with at least 10 years of legal experience.
• Significant experience in legal practice in the UK.  
• Demonstrable commitment to supporting marginalised communities to access justice.

• Experience conducting cases from initial advice through to trial.

Length and Salary

The role is permanent. The annual salary is £88,400 per annum less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.

Our team works remotely, and this role can be based anywhere. We would prefer you to work within or close to UK office hours, but this is flexible. Our team travels every two months for team days and twice a year for team retreats. This role will include significant UK and international travel. The Coin Street Nursery has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic team player, who wants to gain experience in a non-domestic kitchen supporting our in-house nursery chef. Your role will be to support the chef running the nursery kitchen, providing food for the children and childcare staff in our 59-place nursery. Ideally you will be familiar with working in a similar setting, though this is not essential.

We are looking for someone who has passion for ensuring young children eat healthy and balanced meals, takes initiative and is eager to learn. Our Young People & Families (YP&F) Operational Hub delivers a wide range of integrated support services designed to help resolve complex difficulties experienced by young people and their families/carers.

Support is provided to people who find themselves in a range of circumstances; they may be missing from home or have emotional, housing or substance misuse issues. We also support families where parents/carers are experiencing domestic abuse, substance misuse, emotional issues, youth violence, exploitation, homelessness or unemployment. Whatever the situation, we work alongside young people and their carers to find a way of stabilising their lives.

Redthread is one of our services delivered as part of the Young People and Families Hub within Catch22. 

Job Description

Redthread is a hospital based youth work service, working alongside NHS staff and other professionals in emergency departments.

Our experienced, specialist youth workers engage with and support young people, aiming to reduce serious youth violence and exploitation. We often meet young people at a moment of change and work with them to find a positive way forward.

We provide long-term, holistic support. We consider every aspect of a young person’s life and build support around them.

The Young Women's Worker role is to be part of the youth work team within Redthread, whose  primary focus is around providing youth violence interventions in a health care setting.

In this role you will be part of the Youth Violence Intervention team at St George's Hospital. You will support young women aged, 11-25 years old, who present to hospital following an incident of violence/sexual violence of for whom them there are concerns around exploitation (criminal and sexual) or extra-familial harm. You will work with the young women in the hospital as well as supporting them post discharge to ensure they have the support in place that they need and want. The Young Women's Worker provides long term, holistic support and can work with a young women for up to a year.

Main responsibilities include:

• Holding a caseload of young women and to support them in a range of settings and support their personal, emotional, educational and health and social development through all interactions 
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to safeguarding young women

• Support the delivery of training to clinicians

Qualifications

Key Skills and Qualifications are: 

• Significant professional experience of working with vulnerable young people in a range of activities and settings
• Experience of working as an effective team member
• Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience of working autonomously
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the physical, social and emotional developmental needs of young people and especially young women 
• Understanding of the issues faced by young people living in inner city areas
• An awareness of child protection and safeguarding issues and knowledge of current best practice within the youth work sector

Additional information

Hours & work pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week including regular weekend and evening working and shift patterns covering hours of 9am - 9pm.

In our Women’s Respite Service in Camden, you’ll be working with women who have faced abuse, exploitation and homelessness, often after systems have let them down. You’ll be part of a space that feels different. A space where women are listened to, where their experiences are understood, and where they can begin to rebuild a sense of control over their lives.

No two days will look the same. One moment you might be de-escalating a sensitive situation, the next you’re advocating with services, or sitting alongside someone as they begin to make sense of what they’ve been through. You’ll use your understanding of trauma, gender informed practice and the realities of violence against women and girls to shape how support is delivered, making sure every interaction is grounded in safety, dignity and respect.

You’ll hold a small but complex caseload, working intensively with women to build trust, navigate risk and move towards stability and independence. You won’t give up easily. You’ll stay curious, creative and persistent, even when progress feels slow or uncertain.

As a senior in the team, your impact goes further. You’ll lead by example, guiding colleagues through complex situations and helping to embed a way of working that truly recognises what women have experienced and what they need to move forward. You’ll help shape a service that doesn’t just respond to crisis, but creates real, lasting change.

This role is part of our Facilities and Property team. The Facilities and Office Assistant will ensure our office is a well-maintained, welcoming and inclusive working environment for colleagues and visitors. They will support the Facilities and Property Manager with day-to-day office running, health and safety and will work closely with teams across the organisation to create a safe, positive and inclusive workplace environment. This is a part‑time position of 28 hours per week, usually worked over four days, though we’re happy to consider five shorter days. About the role 

Are you an experienced and knowledgeable programme manager with a passion for supporting charities and under-represented communities to advocate for change?

Media Trust is looking for an experienced programme manager to lead on the delivery of two new communications capacity-building programmes - one focusing on charities tackling health inequalities and another focusing on people affected by the No Recourse to Public Fund (NRPF) immigration rule. Both programmes are aimed at enabling participants to safely and effectively engage with the media and advocate for change. You will be working directly with charities, communities and individual participants on both these programmes. You will also work with external trainers and media industry volunteers to deliver the training and related support. 

Each programme will involve recruiting a cohort of storytellers, working with a series of external trainers to deliver workshops around understanding and engaging with the media and facilitating peer support workshops. You may also be required to lead small roundtables or convene meetings with sector partners as required. 

Media Trust will be partnering with charities working on health inequalities and supporting migrants to deliver this work, including recruiting storytellers from across our networks and partner organisations as programme participants.

You will be responsible for designing and agreeing the delivery calendar with our funders and other key partners.You will also manage the recruitment for, and delivery of, these programmes. The outline training content has already been agreed - this role will involve working with trainers to ensure content is relevant to the needs of the cohorts and the objectives of each programme. You will also design and facilitate a series of monthly peer support sessions to support participants’ learning on the programmes. You will also manage impact evaluation for the programmes including designing and collecting responses to pre- and post-programme surveys from participants and sharing insights and learning from the programmes to help Media Trust design new work in these areas. 

You will also support with other programmes and activity across Media Trust’s Charity Services team as required.

Please note this role is remote-based with regular events and meetings in London.

Programme Management and Evaluation 

• Programme Management: Oversee the launch and delivery of the programmes ensuring all activity runs to schedule and on budget 

• Training Coordination: Plan, recruit and deliver training for programme participants and liaise with trainers, ensuring content is well-suited to the needs of the cohorts and the programmes’ objectives
