About the role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified immigration advisor to oversee the strategic direction of our casework and systemic work for the coming year.

The Unity Project (TUP) supports people who are facing poverty and homelessness because their immigration status allows them ‘no recourse to public funds’ (NRPF).  We believe NRPF should not exist and we are working to end it. Until then, we seek to minimise its impact by supporting people to make the ‘change of conditions’ (CoC) application to access public funds. As part of this work, we continually develop new casework approaches to make CoCs more accessible to more people. By taking a strategic approach to our casework, we have opened up new routes for people to move through the process, and achieved greater recognition of groups with particular needs. We have also supported numerous strategic legal challenges which have prompted significant changes to the immigration rules and guidance related to CoCs. 

In this cover role, you will lead The Unity Project’s strategic work to improve the accessibility of the CoC process. You will be responsive to changes in the external context and identify strategic priorities to focus on in our casework. You will hold our strategic external relationships, in particular with law firms, advice agencies and Home Office representatives, and you will oversee our strategic litigation support.  You will share our expertise with the sector through second-tier advice, training workshops and peer support forums.  Our strategic work is rooted in direct casework, and so this will also be part of your role. You will be responsible for TUP’s casework provision for applicants who submit their own CoC applications independently, and you will support with other strategically significant cases as required.

The role is a Management Accountant for a period of 9 months, covering maternity. The role includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Prepare monthly management accounts including investigation of variances and providing commentary on these
• Update cashflow reporting and quarterly consolidation across all subsidiaries
• Produce quarterly reports and monthly reconciliations of the following areas:
• Income vs expenditure
• Review of cost of sales accruals

This role will work closely with our outsourced SOC provider and internal teams to triage and investigate security events, support supplier security assurance, provide risk-based advice across the organisation, and drive automation of security processes and tooling. ABOUT THE ROLE

Start Network has an exciting opening for an Events Support Officer. This a great opportunity for a motivated person who has experience in event organisation and wishes to further their career in a friendly and dynamic environment.  The successful candidate must be available to start in March 2026.

Working with different teams in Start Network, the successful candidate will have a key role in helping to deliver flagship events such as the Annual Assembly which will take place overseas in October.  The Events Support Officer will provide administrative and logistical support to events teams for their respective events and be comfortable working in a matrix management arrangement.

This job is varied and fast-paced a lot of the time and will include duties ranging from dealing with venues to booking flights and arranging catering.  In addition, the Events Support Officer will, from time to time, undertake administrative duties related to staff travel and other needs that may arise within the Operations team. 

The Events Support Officer may have to work evenings and weekends on occasion and must be prepared to travel within the UK and abroad at required times.

About the role

Home-based role within the East Midlands or Yorkshire and the Humber, or within reasonable travelling distance to meet the requirements of the post (subject to meeting homeworking assessment requirements, including a minimum broadband speed of 18Mbps and a dedicated space to work from).

In this role, you will be working collaboratively with other CSP organisers and colleagues across the wider Employment Relations and Union Services (ERUS) team, to support the continued development of the CSP as an effective trade union.

You will recruit members and local union reps while supporting workplace activity and campaigns to defend and improve working conditions.

The post-holder will be able to use their experience, knowledge and skills to help realise the CSP organising strategy, participating in operational and strategic planning and evaluating the outcome of activities.

To succeed in this post, you will be an excellent communicator with confident and credible presentation skills. About the role

Young Roots is looking for a proactive, values-driven Head of Youth Work to shape our life-changing youth work services for young refugees and asylum seekers. This is a rare opportunity to take strategic ownership of a high-impact service, influence organisational direction as part of our Leadership Group, and work alongside inspiring young people and passionate colleagues.

You need significant experience leading a face-to-face service for people facing complex challenges (for example in youth services, homelessness, mental health or refugee support). You’ll bring strong safeguarding expertise, excellent people leadership and programme management skills, and a track record of developing high-quality, inclusive services.

We’re on the hunt for a Programme Manager to join us at this exciting stage of Settle’s development. Over the next few years, we hope to grow the number of young people we are working with and develop new services to support young people with a range of support needs.

The Programme Manager will report to our COO. You’ll be managing a team of Settle Coaches working on the frontline, delivering one-to-one sessions with care-experienced young people across London. You’ll use your skills to ensure that the Settle Programme is the best it can be, coach our frontline teams and ensure high quality delivery is maintained for the young people we work with.

You will work with our COO and wider Programme Management team to deliver and develop our safeguarding practice and ensure that the frontline perspective and young people’s experiences are embedded across the organisation. You’ll manage existing referral partnerships and help develop new partnerships as and when needed, as well as share best practice with the partners you manage. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in strategic projects across the organisation.
