As Philanthropy & Investment Lead you'll:

• Lead the Foundation's Philanthropy Pilot and help shape the first stages of a digital giving service through the Lloyds Bank app.
• Take a leading role in turning an ambitious idea into a successful and scalable proposition, working across the Foundation, Lloyds Banking Group, clients, charities and partners to bring people together around a shared vision.
• Provide the day-to-day leadership required to make the Pilot a success.
• Coordinate activity across the organisation, develop strong external partnerships, oversee commissioned support, and ensure the work is delivered effectively, safely and with clear learning and impact.

About You

You are a proactive self-starter who takes ownership, drives progress at pace and turns ambitious ideas into practical outcomes. Comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving environment, you solve problems as they arise, identify opportunities and maintain momentum through complexity and uncertainty.

You are an excellent relationship builder with the ability to bring people together around a shared vision. You have the credibility and judgement to represent the Foundation externally and to operate effectively with Boards and Executive Leadership Teams.

You will bring experience in philanthropy, fundraising, donor engagement, partnership development or a related field, alongside strong project and programme management skills. 

This role would suit someone who enjoys creating momentum, navigating complexity and uncertainty, and turning ambitious ideas into practical outcomes.

Job Title: Support Coach - Criminal Justice Services

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Coach to join our new Independent Approved Premises commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) on day shifts with a rolling rota. You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. You will work with residents to create tailored support plans, identify their needs, goals, and skills, and motivate them to reach their potential. You will encourage engagement in activities and the community, provide tools for life skills, and ensure effective risk management with a strong focus on public protection. The team work closely with one another and support which achieving overall service KPI's, and you will be part of making a greater change. Everyday looks different so this is perfect for someone who wants a role where no two days are the same. 

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
• Engaging with residents, ensuring they are adhering to their license conditions. This may include planning activities to engage them with other people, communities, and opportunities
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins

About You

We're looking for someone who has a true passion to help make a difference and contribute to providing safer communities for all. You will be comfortable working within the criminal justice setting, and supporting residents to have access to the tools and resources to better enhance their quality of life after their release from prison. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment, be proactive, and have resilience to challenges.  You will have insight into criminal justice settings and the ability to connect with people from varied backgrounds who face multiple and complex challenges. You will thrive working within the team as well as independently, and be comfortable with working with people who have different offending histories. We're looking for someone who can build trust and rapport with others, and has a positive outlook, which can be used to support others. We also look for:

• Ability to manage own caseload and determine priorities with time management. Able to use own initiative
• Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours or a good understanding of the sector.
• IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, basic Microsoft experience
• Understanding and/or practical application of key legislation regarding social care, housing, criminal justice and mental health
• Cultural awareness, Self-awareness, and ability to identify personal growth areas and take feedback

Job Title: Children and Family Worker

About the role

As a Children and Family worker, you will be based within our Women's Refuge service, supporting women and children up to the age of 15 who have escaped domestic abuse. You will deliver trauma-informed, child and family centred support to promote safety and wellbeing, working collaboratively with mothers to strengthen the parent-child relationship during a time of crisis. You will support with both emotional and practical day-to-day support. This is typically done through key work sessions, risk assessments, and empowerment focused activities. 

You will play a vital role in supporting families, being the sole specialist within the service, which gives you autonomy to shape the role based on your expertise and experience. You will lead on child-focused support, as well as working part of the wider team to provide the support to mothers. You will deliver a range of support for children and young people, as well as family and parenting support. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support parents to build confidence, parenting skills, and resilience while promoting positive family relationships. 
• Deliver age-appropriate play, learning, and developmental activities that support children's education, wellbeing, and personal growth. 
• Facilitate family support sessions and interventions to rebuild relationships, improve life skills, and address the impact of trauma. 
• Develop and maintain trusting, trauma-informed relationships with children, families, and residents, providing both practical and emotional support.

About you

We are looking for someone who has a real passion to support families and children who have experienced domestic abuse. You will have a trauma-informed understanding of domestic abuse and the impact it has on families, and will be able to engage in sensitive conversations, recognising signs on trauma, and being proactive to support families to overcome this. This is a hands-on, active role, ideal for someone who is creative, energetic, and passionate about working directly with families. You will be a team player, able to collaborate and provide support to colleagues as needed.

Offering 21 beds in a 24 hour supported accommodation to adults with complex mental health needs. As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will play a key role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery, reablement, and rehabilitation, providing person centred and trauma informed support in a psychologically informed environment (PIE), to empower residents to achieve their goals and improve their well-being. The Welcome Directory is a multi-faith charity working to empower faith and belief communities to offer safe and lasting welcome to prison leavers. Our national directory is a list of faith/belief communities who are committed to welcoming prison leavers – the directory is used in all prisons across England and Wales. This resource is a lifeline for those leaving prison and seeking to find connection and community where they can belong and practice their faith/belief.

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Officer to lead on administrative support to the charity under the direction of the Project Manager, supporting on engagement with various stakeholders and networks. The goal of the post is to ensure that The Welcome Directory can effectively develop the reach of our work and achieve exponential growth, by maximising administrative efficiency.

Whilst this is a 6-month contract, there is the potential to extend where funding permits.

This will include, but may not be limited to:

Operations

• Engaging with interested faith/ belief communities/ networks, processing registrations and maintaining directory records
• Leading the co-ordination and delivery of the annual Affiliates Scheme
• Supporting the production and logistics of annual resource mail-outs
• Engaging in periodical team email campaigns for intentional growth
• Supporting the annual data refresh and survey, including follow-up, in collaboration with the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Events

• Provide administrative support in preparation for the online Prison Awareness Course (PAC) and other webinar events
• Provide technical support (e.g. Zoom hosting etc) for the delivery of the PAC and other webinar events
• Planning bi-annual team days and any one-off events, in consultation with the Project Manager
• Representing The Welcome Directory at selected events (as required)

Administration

• Answering email enquiries
• Editing recordings/ videos and updating resources in Canva
• Collating routine data and creating/ updating trackers (as required)

• Paying-in cheques and sending thank you cards
• Obtaining Gift Aid declarations and submitting claims
• Purchasing stationery supplies and dispatching resources
• Leading on quarterly team password management

You’ll join Marie Curie’s Legal & Governance team that provides governance, company secretarial, legal and compliance support to help ensure Marie Curie and its subsidiary operate effectively and in line with their statutory and regulatory responsibilities. As Assistant Company Secretary, you’ll play a key role in making sure Marie Curie’s governance runs smoothly and effectively. Your Impact:

Key Requirements:

• Relevant professional qualification, such as the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme (full or part-qualified) or Level 4 Certificate in Charity Law and Governance.
• Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in a governance role within a charity or similarly complex organisation.
• Good understanding of charity governance frameworks and the relationship between Boards and Committees.
• Experience supporting the governance of complex organisations and providing governance advice to senior stakeholders or equivalent.

What you'll do

As a Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, including delegating tasks to a paralegal where appropriate. You will provide legal advice and representation primarily in relation to Housing Conditions claims, covering areas such as property litigation, general property matters, and land law. 

The role also involves supporting Senior Solicitors, the Assistant Director of Legal Services, and the General Counsel and Company Secretary on complex or high-value matters as required. You will be expected to take a proactive approach in driving and implementing improvements to the organisation’s response to Housing Conditions-related claims. 

In addition, you will provide legal support to internal Peabody stakeholders on housing condition issues and broader housing-related litigation, including offering legal analysis on policy, procedure, and corporate matters. You'll actively represent Legal Services in a positive manner, contributing to cross-organisational working groups and forums, and play a key role in delivering the Legal Services strategy and supporting Peabody’s wider business objectives. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of the Legal Services training programme, as well as assist the Legal Team or other teams within Governance and Risk on special projects as required from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities below reflect where the role will focus in its first year. Individual Giving is a growing team working to Agile principles, so priorities will develop over time. We would expect the postholder to support colleagues across Public Fundraising as needs change, and to shape their own areas of specialism as they grow in the role.

Campaign Delivery and Acquisition

• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned individual giving acquisition campaigns, from brief and creative development through to build, launch, optimisation and evaluation.

• Deliver lead generation activity across paid social, paid search and email, working with our digital consultants and agency partners on execution.

• Support the delivery of integrated campaigns where conversion takes place by telephone or mail, briefing our telemarketing partner, managing lead flow, and monitoring lead quality and volume.

• Deliver cash appeals across email, direct mail and digital, taking a named lead role on agreed appeals within the annual cycle.

• Test and optimise creative, audiences, landing pages and asks, maintaining a clear test log and sharing what we learn across the team.

• Monitor campaign performance against CPL, CPA, response rate and ROI targets, reporting on results and flagging where reallocating budget would improve returns.

• Contribute to the testing and rollout of new fundraising propositions as they emerge from our proposition development work.

• Track campaign spends against budget, raise purchase orders, and support reforecasting.

Supporter Journeys, Retention and Upgrade

• Design, build and implement the welcome journey for new regular givers, covering the welcome pack, thank-you contact and automated email sequence.

• Plan and deliver structured upgrade activity and other asks to regular giving and cash supporters, working with agency partners where telephone delivery is used.

• Contribute to reducing first-year attrition and increasing average gift value against agreed targets, reporting on retention by cohort and upgrade take-up and taking learnings forward.

• Work closely with the Team so that journeys are practical to deliver, with reactive supporter contact and fulfilment considered.

Cross-Sell and Collaboration

• Develop and deliver cross-sell activity that introduces supporters from one part of our fundraising to another, for example inviting campaigners, petition signers, community fundraisers and event participants to give regularly.

• Support legacy and in-memory promotion by embedding appropriate messaging within acquisition and supporter journey communications.

• Work with Agile principles in mind, planning and delivering collaboratively.

•  Provide cover and support for colleagues across Public Fundraising during periods of peak activity, absence or change, and deputise for the Individual Giving Manager where required.

Data, Compliance and Ways of Working

• Maintain accurate campaign and supporter records within our CRM system (Access CRM), and brief data selections and segmentation accurately.

• Hold a good working knowledge of key aspects of data protection law including GDPR and PECR, as well as the Fundraising Code of Practice.

Skills and Competencies

Our ideal candidate would have the following:

• Demonstrable experience delivering direct marketing or individual giving campaigns end to end, within a charity, agency or comparable commercial environment.

• Hands-on experience setting up and managing campaigns in Meta Business Suite and/or Google paid advertising, and in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.

• Experience planning, building or contributing to supporter journeys, welcome programmes or automated email sequences.

• Comfortable working with campaign data and reporting against metrics such as CPL, CPA, response rate and ROI using tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and within Excel, and using results to make decisions.

• Strong written communication, with the ability to write and brief compelling fundraising copy that motivates and inspires.

• Experience briefing and working alongside agencies, consultants or external suppliers to deliver activity to deadlines.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns and priorities in a busy environment, with excellent attention to detail.

• A collaborative and innovative mindset with a desire to test, learn, and work cross-functionally.

• Comfortable in a changing environment where priorities shift, and willing to take on new areas as the team's needs and your own development require.

• A strong belief in the work we do at PCR, and a demonstrable desire to improve outcomes for patients through our work in fundraising.

Desirable:

• Experience of regular giving retention, upgrade or reactivation activity.

• Experience of telemarketing or direct mail campaigns, including briefing agencies and managing data selections.

• Experience working with a CRM system, particularly Access CRM, and with donation platforms such as Fundraise Up.

• Knowledge of WordPress website optimisation and landing page build, or a strong desire to learn.

• Experience working within Agile project management frameworks.

• Ability to utilise and integrate AI tools and workflows such as Microsoft Copilot including agents to improve effectiveness, efficiency and outcomes where appropriate.
