Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. 

We are recruiting for a new Service Manager role to support Upskill, Employment Hub and Kingston Supported Employment services​​. This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week; we will consider applications for 28 hours/4 days.

What you’ll be doing 

You will provide collaborative and motivational leadership, ensuring our services deliver agreed outcomes while maintaining a client-led approach.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing day-to-day operations and resolving issues as they arise.
• Leading service planning, implementation and delivery in line with contractual requirements.
• Building relationships with health, employment, community and funding partners.
• Monitoring contractual outcomes, delivery timescales, quality standards and key performance indicators.
• Representing Working Well Trust at contract performance meetings.
• Supporting Team Leads to develop performance and quality improvement plans.
• Using audits, reviews and client feedback to improve service quality.
• Working with the Finance Manager and budget holders to support effective budget management.
• Ensuring accurate data collection and completion of contract monitoring reports.
• Supporting staff wellbeing, occupational health cases, reasonable adjustments and effective attendance management.
• Providing senior management cover and supporting safeguarding and risk escalation.
• Recruiting, supervising and developing Team Leads alongside the HR Advisor.
• Promoting consistent induction, supervision, appraisal, training and continuous learning.
• Working with senior colleagues on organisational strategy, business planning, co-production and cross-service improvements.

The London Legal Support Trust is an independent charity that raises funds for free legal advice services in London and the South East. We support free legal advice centres across London and the South East through the provision of grant funding, supporting sector infrastructure, helping agencies reduce costs and save money via pro bono or discounted schemes.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Events & Fundraising Assistant to help deliver our growing programme of own brand mass participation events and third-party challenge events. Access to justice is at the heart of our fundraising events, and the Events & Fundraising Assistant is a vital part of the team delivering the world's largest one day gathering of lawyers at the London Legal Walk.

You will help with supporter communications, event administration, logistics and event delivery, supporter enquiries and fundraising stewardship ensuring each participant feels inspired and thanked for their contribution to supporting frontline free legal advice charities. 

Job description

The Events & Fundraising Assistant helps to improve, develop and organise our events, including the London Legal Walk, Great Legal Bake, Great Legal Quiz and many more across London and the South East. You will work to maintain contact with our wide network of dedicated supporters, keeping our database up-to-date with contact and event information, and support with the on the day delivery of the event. You will update our website and produce content for printed materials to promote our events programme, and assist with the recruitment and management of volunteers.

Main duties and responsibilities (see recruitment pack for more detail)

• Maintain and build on existing LLST fundraising events through supporting delivery - managing sign ups, responding to enquries, drafting event materials and correspondence with supporters.

• Attend, help at and supervise events including registration, set-up, pack-down and stakeholder management.

• Improve and maintain LLST's website and online presence on LLST's social media chanels.
• Administrative duties inlcuding data entry and income processing.
• General support, ensuring LLST’s activities comply with charity, company and general law.

As a Support Worker at Ace of Clubs drop-in day centre supporting people who are homeless and facing adversity, you will play a key role in supporting individuals who may be navigating chaotic lifestyles, trauma, and multiple disadvantages. You will provide practical and emotional support, help people access essential services, and work to empower them to move towards independence.

Your role will involve working directly with service users, managing case records, liaising with partner agencies, and contributing to the smooth running of our busy centre. Ultimately, you will support people to overcome barriers, develop essential skills, and build confidence in navigating life challenges and providing advocacy where needed.  In particular, you will be on duty as Support Worker during our busy, daily lunchtime service - responding to the needs of a variety of guests – on a busy day we can reach 150 – 200 guests visiting our service.

In addition, Ace of Clubs works with a wide range of volunteers and partners on a daily basis including food partners, health partners, corporate, individual and client volunteers.  Your role will also be required to support the team in the smooth functioning of these areas, for example liaising with partners on site, showing around volunteers or feeding back any issues during lunch service.

You will also support with the operations and building’s co-ordination, including carrying out weekly health and safety checks as required, i.e. fire alarm checks, legionella checks etc., meeting onsite contractors, counting and logging cash takings, responding and filtering the central email account and making food and supplies orders. You will be provided with comprehensive training in these areas.

As Talent Acquisition Project Coordinator, you'll play a central role in helping us attract, recruit and onboard exceptional talent at pace, supporting a major employability programme with the ambition to reach 1 million young people. Working closely with our Talent Acquisition team, you'll ensure recruitment activity runs smoothly, efficiently and delivers an outstanding experience for every candidate and hiring manager.

This fully funded role runs until 31 March 2027 and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a major employability programme supporting young people across the UK.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced coordination role where you'll be at the heart of the recruitment journey. You'll manage interview scheduling, vacancy advertising, recruitment administration, onboarding activity, reporting and stakeholder communications, while helping the team deliver large-scale hiring projects alongside business-as-usual recruitment.

We're particularly interested in people who can hit the ground running from backgrounds such as recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, HR administration, people operations, project coordination, customer service or high-volume administrative environments. Experience supporting recruitment campaigns, organisational change programmes or using applicant tracking systems such as SuccessFactors will be an advantage, but most importantly you'll bring outstanding organisational skills, strong communication and a passion for delivering great experiences while contributing to work that makes a real difference to young people across the UK.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Grant Fundraising Manager to lead Trees for Cities’ trusts, foundations, lottery and statutory fundraising programme, securing approximately £1.5 million annually. 

The successful candidate will develop and deliver the grants fundraising strategy, build a strong pipeline of opportunities and cultivate high-value funder relationships, with a focus on six-figure and multi-year partnerships. They will lead compelling funding applications, oversee grant compliance and reporting, monitor income targets and forecasts and line manage the Senior Fundraising Coordinator. 

Working collaboratively across fundraising, programmes, finance and operations, they will ensure funding opportunities align with our strategic priorities and deliver lasting impact for communities and the environment.
