The money the charity raises helps to fund cutting-edge facilities and equipment as well as pioneering research and treatment. The Individual Giving Officer role has come about due to growth and investment in the team. You will report into the Individual Giving Manager and will help achieve the income target of £1.3 million. You will be given the opportunity to work across all channels (f2f, telemarketing, direct mail and digital) and income streams (regular giving, lottery, in memory and legacy giving). Tasks will include, day to day admin for campaigns; running a direct mail appeal (with income between £10-20K); copy and content creation; research; invoice processing and complaint handling; speaking to donors; liaising with external agencies; and working on the stewardship journey.

There is a wealth of potential in the fundraising team at King’s College Hospital Charity and there is a lot of opportunity for you achieve new things and help shape the direction and future success of their IG programme.  

To be successful as the Individual Giving Officer, you will need:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to work with an innovative and friendly multidisciplinary team at our London Centre.​

You will line manage and supervise highly skilled and dedicated clinicians, in the service delivery of a range of NICE guideline recommended therapy interventions, offered to our clients, who are survivors of torture and organised violence. You will report to the Adult Team Manager, London and operate as an integral part of the London Clinical Services Team. This is an exciting chance to join us as we place survivor empowerment and movement building at the heart of our four-year strategy and work together to increase the number of clients who can access our services. It is based in a centre specifically designed to be a safe and welcoming environment for survivors and includes gardens and growing facilities.

About the role

This is a wide-ranging position, and your key areas of responsibility will include:

• To work with the Adult Team Manager and Heads of Clinical Services to implement FFT’s strategic goals. It will involve providing line management to paid staff and volunteers from different professions and disciplines and provide professional and clinical supervision to qualified clinicians and trainees in the service including, clinical/counselling psychologists. This role may also include providing remote clinical supervision to clinicians in our other regional centres (North West England and Scotland).
• To ensure that Freedom from Torture's clinical model continues to be fully rolled out, with particular emphasis on survivor empowerment and evidence-based practice for addressing PTSD and other mental health impacts of torture.
• Championing people development as well as influence delivery of evidenced -based practice, clinical standards, quality initiatives and audit-based services.
• To formulate and negotiate psychological treatment and management plans for referred clients and to provide psychological treatment, using a range of specialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service in line with the new clinical model “Pathways” (drawing on a range of evidence-based models for the presenting problems of the clients).
• Being an effective role model and leader to encourage, develop and enhance skills of others.​

About you

This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.

To be considered for this role you must be a Psychologist registered with HCPC and have qualified with a doctorate or equivalent in either clinical or counselling psychology. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.

Tabard Court is a mental health supported accommodation for individual with significant offending histories. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to customers with a range of mental health needs - emotional, social, physical or domestic -, who have had contact with the Criminal Justice System. You will be skilled in engaging both customers and stakeholders and have a good understanding of the needs and diversity of this client group. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a therapeutic environment that at times can be challenging and provide quality evidenced based care and risk management strategies working closely with clinical colleagues. We're looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Fundraising to join the Senior Leadership Team and lead a growing and ambitious fundraising function. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on corporate partnerships and major donor development. Head of Fundraising

• Hybrid (London office 1 day/week or 1 day/month for SLT if home-based)
• Circa £52k

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive and managing a brilliant team of four, you'll lead the development and delivery of a diverse fundraising strategy. You'll take a proactive role in cultivating high-value relationships, securing new partnerships, and driving innovation across income streams.

Key priorities include:

• Leading and inspiring a high-performing fundraising team
• Developing and delivering a multi-channel fundraising strategy
• Building strategic corporate partnerships and major donor relationships
• Growing a pipeline of non-pharma corporate prospects
• Collaborating across teams to create compelling cases for support
• Championing best practice use of Beacon CRM
• Ensuring compliance with GDPR, charity law, and fundraising regulations

About You

We're looking for a confident and entrepreneurial fundraiser with:

• A strong track record in corporate fundraising and major donor development
• Experience leading successful teams and managing income targets
• Knowledge of trusts, foundations, and individual giving
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A collaborative, creative, and ambitious mindset
• Understanding of charity law, GDPR, and the Code of Fundraising Practice

We are looking for a Senior Individual Giving Fundraiser to be responsible for the delivery of core elements of the Supporter Acquisition programme, developing engaging communications / products and activity across multiple channels, such as paid search and social, email, telemarketing and offline channels.

The Role
Lead in the development and delivery of Supporter Acquisition campaigns/activity/products across a range of media, with a specific focus on digital channels.

Work closely with the Individual Giving Manager to plan, manage and deliver the annual operating plan, including end-to-end project management,

Be responsible for the briefing and the day-to-day management of internal and external suppliers including copy and artwork development through to production, broadcast and final print.

Deliver draft budget and reforecasting figures as part of the planning and budgeting process.

The Candidate
Previous experience with Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multi-channel, multi-discipline environment, especially through supporter acquisition channels.

Good project-management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns.

Knowledge of best practice digital fundraising, with particular experience of running Search, Social and online campaigns to increase supporters and gather data for future marketing opportunities.

• Set up and manage tuition programmes for schools and Local Authorities and charities.
• Match tutors to students based on individual needs, availability, and subject expertise.

• Review EHCPs, student profiles, and supporting documentation to understand individual learning needs and tailor support accordingly.
• Respond to new tuition referrals and gather the information needed to plan appropriate support.
• Deliver tutor induction sessions to support onboarding and prepare tutors for their roles.
• Complete Risk Assessments prior to the start of each tuition programme.
• Share lesson feedback, gather input from stakeholders, and monitor student progress.
• Report on the impact of tuition and flag any concerns or areas for improvement.
• Attend tutor interviews and liaise with the recruitment team to fill roles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the day to ensure smooth programme delivery.
• Attend regular stakeholder meetings and share updates on student progress.
• Refer any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).

• Can work from our office in Angel, London four days a week, with the option to work remotely one day per week.
