This is an exciting opportunity to join GamCare as we continue to expand and develop our Online Support Services. To support this expansion, we are seeking an Online Support Team Leader to oversee and lead a growing remote team delivering vital digital support to individuals affected by gambling harm.

The role 

You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and development of GamCare’s Online Support Services, which currently include online appointments, email support, chatrooms and forums, and a self-guided online support programme.

You will lead a remote team of Online Support Practitioners within the wider Helpline service, ensuring consistent, safe and effective support is delivered across all digital channels.

Key responsibilities 

·Managing the daily operational delivery of Online Support Services, ensuring high-quality support and adherence to agreed KPIs

·Providing line management for Online Support Practitioners, including supervision, team meetings, rota planning, and managing leave and cover

·Advocating for and promoting Online Support Services internally and externally to improve accessibility and awareness

·Supporting the ongoing reporting and evaluation of GamCare’s Online Services

·Identifying opportunities for service development and contributing to the design and implementation of improvements

About you 

This is a key leadership role for someone with experience delivering support services to vulnerable or complex individuals, alongside experience of supervising, coaching, mentoring or managing staff or volunteers. You will also bring a strong commitment to person-centred, non-judgemental practice.

You will be a confident communicator, comfortable working collaboratively across the Helpline service, and able to balance operational leadership with empathy, support and clear decision‑making – particularly when managing complex or high‑risk contacts.

Strong IT skills are essential, including experience working with digital platforms, CRM systems or call-handling tools.

Job Purpose 

This is a new and vital role for the Foundation, involving developing our work around employment, which will support British Muslims to access employment and develop their careers in fields in which we are currently under-represented.You will be part of a matrix-working team that will collectively develop this piece of work, so you will not be simply implementing an existing plan; you’ll be there from the start with key input into how this should be designed and implemented. 

Your key role will be to engage with employers in target industries of journalism, law, arts, public policy, and tech/AI.This will involve direct engagement with employers with whom we have no existing engagement, building on relationships we already have and working with third-party ‘intermediary bodies’ and organisations representing employers across entire sectors.The role seeks to achieve a clear impact by getting people into good quality roles with leading employers. 

Internal relationships 

You will report to the Director of the Foundation, who will work closely with you in the development of this new programme.The Foundation currently has five staff, now growing to eight.We are a tight-knit team that goes over and above to support one another.

This role will work closely with the role we are advertising in parallel, the Head of Careers & Talent Development.That role is more at the “supply” end – identifying and engaging graduates and other potential candidates to engage with employers. 

Key Responsibilities 

Broadly, the main duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: 

• Build and manage employer partnerships across all target sectors: journalism, law, arts, public policy, and tech/AI 

• Ensure our CRM system is maintained to track all external and internal communication for your area of work 

• Convene roundtables and sector networks.

the best British Muslim young people 

• Collaborate with internal colleagues to align employer needs with graduate pathways.

Location: Liberation centre Brixton, London (New office in Brixton)/ Remote working within the UK with at least 3 days’ work from our office (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)

Contract: Full time (40hrs/weekly), 2-year Fixed Term contract.

Start date: As soon as possible

The Advocacy Academy is an activist youth movement. We serve as the political home for grassroots youth organising and the catalyst for collective action. The lives of the young people we work alongside have been directly shaped by living in an unjust world, and we exist to turn their anger into action.​​

Young people are often the catalysts for major social change, from the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, to the Soweto Uprising mobilising young people to resist the apartheid regime's education policies, to the Sunrise Movement redrawing the electoral map across America, and more recently encampments and protests across the world protesting the genocide in Palestine. How successfully they achieve real and lasting change depends on whether they are organised and whether they have the right strategy and tactics to be effective.​

We are now looking for a Head of Spacemaking & Operations who believes in this vision and can ensure that TAA’s Liberation Centre is safe, fully operational, and intentionally designed as a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment. This role bridges operational delivery and spatial experience, ensuring that the Centre not only functions effectively behind the scenes, but also reflects TAA’s values in how people experience, move through, and use the space. You will combine operational oversight, facilities management, and space experience design, working across teams to ensure the Centre is safe, compliant, efficient, accessible and welcoming for staff, young people, and the wider community.

​AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY​​​

​1.You will become a key member of the Finance, HR & Operations Team, including but not limited to:

• Supporting the Director of Finance, HR and Operations in maintaining and improving operational systems and processes
•  Supporting the delivery of the Liberation Centre strategy, working across teams to ensure the Centre provides a functional, welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for staff, young people, and the wider community
• Building relationships across departments, understanding their needs, and communicating operational updates to the Director
• Ensure escalations to the Director of Finance, HR and Operations are timely, well-prepared, clearly articulated, and supported by relevant information to enable effective decision-making. ​

2.​You will ensure that your responsibilities run like well-oiled machines by supporting TAA’s facilities, ensuring the Liberation Centre operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with relevant regulations by:

• Acting as the main operational liaison for the Liberation Centre, including council, building management, and external contractors
• Managing relationships with facilities providers, maintenance contractors, cleaners, and IT vendors
• Overseeing health & safety compliance, including staff training, evacuation procedures, drills, and statutory checks
• Supporting the development and implementation of risk assessments (fire, general, wellbeing, incidents, remote work, etc.)
• Ensuring procurement, supplies, and stock levels are managed effectively and responsibly
• Coordinating first aiders and fire marshals as required
• Ensuring operational cost-efficiency across facilities and space-related services​

3.You will help shape the Liberation Centre as a purposeful, accessible, and welcoming environment by:

• Supporting the ongoing development of the Liberation Centre as a safe, inclusive, and values-aligned space
• Leading on accessibility improvements across the physical environment, ensuring equitable access for disabled community members
• Shaping improvements to layout, usability, and overall experience of the space
• Ensuring the space reflects TAA’s values of care, inclusion, and liberation in its physical design and use

4.You will support reliable and secure operational infrastructure by:

• Supporting logistics for events, residentials, camps, and programmes, including venue sourcing, bookings, and on-site coordination

6.You will support the Director in embedding safety, wellbeing, and care into how the space is used and experienced by:

• ​Ensuring health & safety processes are embedded and consistently followed
• Coordinating safety training and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations
• Supporting a culture of shared responsibility for safety within the Liberation Centre
• Working with the community team to ensure safety practices are values-aligned

​IDEAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE​

• 3-5+ years’ experience in operations management, ideally including leadership responsibility for teams, workflows, or service delivery.
• Comfortable operating as the senior operational lead on site when required, maintaining full delivery responsibility and ensuring clear communication and escalation pathways.
• Demonstrated experience in facilities management and/or IT systems coordination, with an understanding of how operational infrastructure supports organisational effectiveness.
• Working knowledge of operational tools and systems (e.g. Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, Canva, and similar platforms), with willingness to learn and adapt to new systems as needed.
• Experience supporting or developing operational processes, with an interest in improving efficiency, clarity, and user experience across systems and teams. 
• Proven ability Experience working with diverse audiences and stakeholders, with an understanding of access needs and inclusive practice to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and maintain delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: TAA has flexible working hours, with some expected evenings (e.g. one 9pm finish once every two weeks) and weekends due to the nature of the role. All extra hours are reimbursed as Time off in Lieu (TOIL).

​AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY​​​

​1.You will be responsible for the Changemaker Development Programme (CMDP) including but limited to:

• Working with the Associate Director of Programmes and Associate Director of Partnerships to coordinate programmes planning and delivery timelines for CMDP.
• Managing cross programmatic projects to standardise processes and practices in the Programmes Department
• Designing and developing the recruitment process for Alumni to join the CMDP and create a targeted recruitment strategy to grow the Alumni Changemaker pool
• Managing the monitoring and evaluation of the programme including quantitative and qualitative data, and facilitate the process of ongoing learning being integrated into the programme
• Working with Programmes Leadership Team to coordinate and deliver a holistic safeguarding, wellbeing and pastoral care strategy across TAA’s work with young people
• Responsible for holding the CMDP budget and ensuring that it is managed and spent in accordance with TAA expenses procedure e.g. signing off expenses up to £1,000 expenditure and escalating to Director of Programmes and Partnerships for amounts exceeding this.

2.​You will be accountable for the learning design and delivery to include but not limited:

• Leading the design of the CMDP curriculum to agreed TAA standards engaging key stakeholders, e.g. alumni, programmes team, external partners 
• Supporting Alumni Changemakers to design, deliver and facilitate social justice workshops in line with established pedagogical approaches at TAA.
• Leading the development of learning journeys for Alumni Changemakers.
• Working during school holidays for camps, and in the evenings to accommodate school hours, which may include regular evening work and unsocial hours during programme delivery.​

3.You will be the port of call for the Changemakers and Community Organisers who will help run the programme, and a regular and trusted individual whom the young people know and can connect with. To include but not limited to:

• You will support the Changemakers in co-creating this space with young people in the community and helping them identify ways to bring participants along into the membership.
• You will be managing the Changemakers who are delivering the programme - and updating both the Community Director and Director of Programmes and Partnerships on their progress and development. 
• You will hold the budget for the programme - keeping track of expenses and thinking through ways to keep costs down. 
• You will ensure that you provide accurate and timely financial information to the budget lead for your work and to the Finance, HR & Operations team
• You will be responsible for holding relationships with Alumni Changemakers and holding the relational culture of the CMDP to ensure we have a brilliant atmosphere for learning, nurturing and growth for Alumni Changemakers, including but not limited to:
• Taking responsibility for the pastoral care of Alumni Changemakers on placement including building the pastoral care approach with the Programmes Leadership Team.
• Taking responsibility for building and nurturing key relationships with fellow social justice activists, organisers and educators in the sector who can support, challenge and inspire our Alumni Changemakers.
• Representing TAA at any applicable events, in the press and in activist circles 
• ​Building and nurturing relationships with alumni/members.​

4.You will be accountable for the learning design and development of the Leadership Development Framework. To include but not limited to:

• Designing and developing a cohesive, high-quality curriculum aligned to TAA’s strategic goals and organisational values
• Establishing and embedding a clear pedagogical approach that underpins all delivery and supports effective facilitation
• Creating structured learning journeys that support the progression and development of young people as leaders
• Developing and maintaining facilitator guides, resources and tools to ensure consistency and quality across delivery
• Working with staff and members to ensure curriculum and pedagogy are effectively understood and implemented
• Reviewing delivery, gathering feedback and insights from members, and iterating on the curriculum and approach to continuously improve quality and impact​

5.You will ensure that your programmatic activities are managed as well-oiled machines through pulling in the right people at the right time and ensuring that key milestones are met:

• Responsible for ensuring effective departmental administration including delegating key administrative tasks to relevant staff
• You will be working with the Director of Programme and Partnerships, Director of Community, the Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team and others to think about the safety, safeguarding, and wellbeing needs of the young people participating in the programme and beyond. 
  • You will ensure safeguarding and Health and Safety standards are met across the programmes team and other critical policies and practices within the organisation, working proactively with relevant leads to understand requirements and operationalise effectively
  • You will contribute towards risk management standards and ensure Health and Safety standards are met across programmatic and community team

The Ministry Development Team (MDT) is a team of 45 people which sits within the Archbishops' Council. The Financial Wellbeing Coach is a new post that will play a key role in strengthening the financial resilience of nursing and midwifery professionals. Working directly with individuals, the post holder will help Nurses, Midwives, Nursing Associates, Healthcare Assistants and Maternity Support Workers to build financial literacy, develop budgeting skills, set realistic financial goals, and improve money management. The role combines one-to-one coaching with group workshops and digital support, helping people to gain confidence in managing day-to-day finances and planning for their future. The post holder will work collaboratively with the Head of Services and Impact and the wider Cavell team to ensure our financial wellbeing support is impactful, accessible and evidence based.

This is a 2-year fixed term post, 15 – 18 hours per week. It can be home based or hybrid, although we would expect visits to our Redditch office at least once a month.

Main Responsibilities

Financial Coaching and Support:

• Deliver one-to-one financial wellbeing coaching to eligible beneficiaries.
• Support individuals to improve financial literacy, budgeting and goal setting.
• Help beneficiaries to develop practical money management strategies.
• Provide non-judgmental advice, education and encouragement to build financial confidence.
• Work with individuals experiencing financial hardship, vulnerability or stress with sensitivity and professionalism.

Workshops and Resources:

Who We Are

The 999 Club has stood on the corner of Deptford Broadway for more than 30 years, working with and supporting the local community. Our focus now is on people who are street homeless, rough sleeping or unhoused and those who have no recourse to public funds.

The Gateway is open five days a week and provides a welcoming, safe and friendly space where our members can spend time away from their usual situation and sort out practicalities like getting laundry done, taking a shower, charging their phone and having something to eat.

The Team

Exactly as it says on the tin, the Essential Services Team was set up to deliver essential services and we’re really excited to be restructuring the team. Whilst our Intervention Team works with members to figure out their next steps around housing etc. the Essential Services Team work to make sure that everything is in place we all get to spend time in clean, safe, friendly surroundings.

Working alongside an amazing team of volunteers the Essential Services Team provide it all, hospitality to housekeeping and everything in between.  From welcoming members at reception to helping out with laundry, to making sure the place is clean and comfortable and well maintained, that we have enough of everything, that all the admin is taken care of and and that there’s something nutritious for lunch, the Essential Services Team are at the centre of everything we do – effectively, they are the engine that keeps the 999 Club running.

We are looking for an experienced and values-led leader to join us as our new Assistant Director of Organisational Development & Learning within our People and Culture Directorate.

This is a rare opportunity to shape how learning, leadership and organisational capability enable one of the UK and Ireland’s most respected charities to deliver its mission.

You will lead the development of an ambitious organisation-wide learning and organisational development strategy, ensuring our 23,000 volunteers and 300 staff members, have the skills, confidence and support needed to deliver safe, effective and compassionate services.

About the role

Reporting to the Executive Director of People & Culture, you will lead a talented team responsible for organisational development, leadership capability, learning and development, delivery of training through our training school and external learning provision through STEP, our commercial training offer.

Samaritans is on an ambitious journey of change, we are evolving how we work, strengthening collaboration across the organisation to meet growing need for our life-saving listening services.

• Lead the development and delivery of innovative, inclusive and high-quality learning solutions
• Shape and embed leadership capability frameworks that support a positive, accountable and compassionate culture
• Support organisational transformation and change through strong organisational development expertise
• Drive strategic approaches to learning, talent and succession planning
• Partner with leaders to build a high-performing and psychologically safe learning culture
• Ensure our learning approaches reflect best practice, accessibility and equity, diversity and inclusion principles
• Support the development of our geographically dispersed volunteer and staff teams
• Bring external insight, thought leadership and innovation into the organisation

You will also play an active role as part of our Senior Leadership Group and People and Culture Senior Leadership Team, contributing beyond your specialist area to help deliver our wider organisational strategy and mission.

About you

You are an experienced organisational development, learning or people capability leader with a strong track record of delivering strategic cultural and organisational change.

Importantly, you are someone who leads with empathy, curiosity and integrity. You understand that high performance and compassion go hand in hand, and you are passionate about creating environments where people feel supported, empowered and able to grow.

You will bring:

• Significant experience leading organisational development and learning strategy at a senior level
• Expertise in leadership development, capability building and organisational change
• Experience of identifying future capability needs through workforce planning’
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leadership teams
• Experience developing inclusive learning cultures and blended learning solutions
• Knowledge of talent and succession planning approaches
• The ability to inspire and lead geographically dispersed teams, including volunteers
• A collaborative and values-driven leadership style

Experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector would be welcomed, though we also encourage applications from candidates outside the sector who share our values and mission.

This is a permanent, full time vacancy with the organisation operating a hybrid working policy, remotely and from their London office once per week.

The Finance Business Partner (Grants) will play a key role is strengthening collaboration between Finance and Grants teams, supporting the effective financial management of the grants portfolio. The role will focus on building strong relationships with Grants stakeholders, developing a solid understanding of the granting process and providing clear, timely financial information to support informed decision-making. The role acts as a link between Finance and Grants, translating financial data and meaningful insights for Grants teams, while ensuring financial considerations appropriately reflected in granting decisions.

The successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional with strong experience of business partnering, financial modelling and forecasting, management reporting and data analysis, and grant finance management. You will also have exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

• Lead growth of corporate fundraising and corporate partnerships, guided by Butterfly Conservation’s Corporate Fundraising Plan.
• Identify, cultivate, secure and deliver corporate partnerships applying a coordinated and proactive approach.
• Ensure effective delivery within the corporate fundraising stream and appropriate corporate stewardship, with the support of the Corporate Fundraising Officer.
• Deliver actions that lead to the meeting of Butterfly Conservation’s Fundraising Target and which secures good return on investment.

1. Planning, and continually reviewing, the Corporate Fundraising Team work programme and working with the Corporate Fundraising Officer in executing it so as to deliver impact.
2. Identifying, building and maintaining a strong, diverse pipeline of corporate prospects.
3. Implementing a proactive acquisition approach to securing new corporate support that delivers financial and/or social value gains for our charity, including the negotiation and drawing up of partnership agreements.
4. Personally managing and stewarding a portfolio of corporate relationships, providing an outstanding supporter experience which seeks to sustain and grow corporates’ support.
5. Providing corporate fundraising advice, materials and updates to colleagues/Branches and working with the Head of Grant, Trust & Corporate Fundraising to deliver training to staff, the Senior Leadership Team, Council of Trustees and   BC Trading Company Board, as required. 
6. Working with teams across the organisation to develop and prepare tailored cases for support/proposals and bespoke updates/reports to corporate donors.
7. Collaborating with the Finance Team to ensure appropriate invoicing, accurate income coding/recording and contract compliance.
8. Monitoring corporate relationship and income performance so as to provide data that can feed into reports and analysis, which can inform our Senior Leadership Team, Council of Trustees and  BC Trading Company Board.
9. Following relevant policies and procedures, such as those relating to data management and our Ethical Fundraising & Donation Acceptance Policy.
10. Ensuring the effective promotion and/or dissemination of Butterfly Conservation’s ‘Corporate Supporters Pack’ and ‘Work for Good’ platform (managed for lower level donations), providing clarification to corporates and/or identifying potential for uplift, to then pursue, as necessary.
11. Line managing and supporting the Corporate Fundraising Officer, driving performance and innovation through a solution focused approach and ensuring appropriate prioritisation of workload.
12. Maintaining and updating records to keep track of corporate prospects and corporate approaches, communications and agreements, in files, spreadsheets and on the CRM so that the are a reliable and trusted source of information.
