Responsibilities
Financial & Grant Coordination

Support Epic’s bi-annual grantmaking process, including but not limited to drafting and distributing grant agreements and archiving documentation.

Manage the process of financial reporting from Epic’s portfolio organisations, coordinating with the Operations and Programs teams to verify compliance with Epic’s reporting requirements.

Assist with administrative monitoring of supported organisations, including data collection and documentation management.

Process invoices and reimbursements, maintaining accurate payment trackers and supporting financial operations.

Collect, organise, and archive invoices and accounting documentation to ensure financial compliance and efficient record keeping.

Initiate bank transfers in the absence of the responsible person.

Review donation records in Salesforce, help reconcile them with the accounting records, and ensure supporting documentation is complete and properly archived.
HR admin & Payroll Management

Maintain and update HR policies, including the Employee Handbook, ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations in the UK and France.

Manage employment contract administration for employees, interns, volunteers, and consultants or any other type of contracts across France and the UK, ensuring compliance with relevant legal frameworks.

Manage payroll for France and the UK directly through the PayFit payroll platform, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with local employment and tax regulations.

Coordinate relationships with external benefits and training partners (e.g. healthcare providers, occupational health department (France), and training bodies.

Support managers with recruitment and onboarding processes across teams (distributing screening questionnaires, preparing onboarding plans, coordinating onboarding logistics, etc.).

Manage administrative onboarding and offboarding for employees, interns, and volunteers, ensuring a smooth and well-structured integration and offboarding process.

Help organize team trainings and monitor individual staff trainings.

Overview
Prostate Cancer Research (PCR) is seeking a highly organised and proactive Patient Engagement & Programme Officer to support the delivery of several key patient-focused initiatives, including the infopool and Prostate Progress.
This role will sit within the Patient Projects team, providing operational, administrative, and patient engagement support across a range of programmes designed to support and empower men affected by prostate cancer.
The postholder will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of patient communications, programme logistics, digital resource management, and recruitment support for the national Prostate Progress research platform.
The role will be split approximately 50% supporting Prostate Progress recruitment and patient engagement activities, and 50% supporting wider programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Prostate Progress – Patient Recruitment & Support
Provide support to patients and participants, particularly during the upcoming national recruitment campaigns delivered with NHS DigiTrials.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and triaging incoming emails and phone enquiries from patients responding to recruitment invitations or having issues using the platform
- Responding to patient queries using approved FAQ materials and support documentation
- Escalating complex queries or complaints to appropriate internal teams
- Liaising with our technical support team to resolve participant platform issues and triaging issues accordingly
- Supporting the development and refinement of participant support materials and FAQs
- Maintaining clear records of common issues, feedback, and participant concerns
- Supporting on the development and delivery of Prostate Progress’ engagement and stewardship plan, ensuring they receive regular communications which maximise engagement and ensure retention

The Infopool
Support the Head of Health Information in maintaining and improving the infopool, PCR’s digital patient information platform.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing routine website administration, including checking links, updating resources and uploading new content and materials
- Ensuring patient resources remain accurate, current and accessible
- Supporting the administration of Google Analytics and Hotjar surveys
- Assisting with analysis of website usage data and patient feedback
- Analysing simple infopool survey feedback data coming from three clinical sites.

WSUK Adult Support Co-ordinator Role
WSUK is seeking a part-time adult support co-ordinator (2.5 days per week, working over 4-5 days, 0.5 FTE, £14.1k-£15.6k per annum), based in the Midlands area. This home-based role will provide support to WS affected adults and their families to help improve the quality of their lives. Through liaising with professionals (including the WS expert clinical team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Birmingham), external or advocacy organisations, this role will help facilitate access to the services to which WS affected adults and their families are entitled. The adult support co-ordinator will help adults and their families to increase their confidence and independence in living with their condition. This role will also act as an important point of contact for WS affected adults, providing advice and support in confidence.
Skills and experience
Applicants should have several years’ experience in a similar position, working with people affected by sensory loss, long-term medical / genetic condition, or disability. Applicants should also have a strong desire to help improve the lives of adults living with a long-term condition or disability and be confident in talking with people with a range of abilities and diverse cultural backgrounds.
Applicants should have experience in working effectively as part of a remote team, be confident in working independently and in managing conflicting priorities.
Some limited UK travel will be required (particularly to meet WS affected adults during their WS clinic visit at QEH, Birmingham (6 clinics per year) and the annual WS conference. An enhanced DBS check will be required.

My role is Finance Assistant on an interim basis. The role will include, but is not limited to, the follows:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately, ensuring correct coding, approvals and VAT treatment.- Validating invoices against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Reconciling supplier statements regularly and investigating outstanding items.- Maintaining accurate supplier and customer account information.- Preparing and issuing customer invoices in line with contracts or sales orders.- Allocating and reconciling customer receipts, resolving any misallocated or unallocated cash.- Monitoring outstanding customer balances and supporting credit control activities.- Responding to supplier, customer and internal queries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.- Collaborating with other internal teams to resolve invoice, PO, or payment discrepancies.

In order to succeed, you will need previous experience within AP, AR and ideally Credit Control. Strong systems skills are also required.
