The Learning Specialist contributes to the development and delivery of training materials and resources within the organisation. You will work closely with the Learning & Organisational Development Partner to support various learning and organisational development initiatives. You will also be key in the engagement and effective utilisation of Ambitious Learning (our eLearning platform).
You will design and develop training content for delivery through the LMS across various topics as directed, ensuring it meets the needs and learning styles of diverse staff. You’ll facilitate training sessions and assist in ongoing professional development programmes for Charity staff and managers, promoting continuous learning and growth. You’ll maintain central records and certifications, ensuring all training and learning initiatives comply with relevant regulations and standards.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A CIPD qualification (or working towards qualification) or equivalent Learning and Development qualification/experience.
- Demonstrable understanding of training intervention, design, delivery and evaluation principles.
- Skilled in LMS deployment, content development and management reporting.
- Skilled in deploying relevant eLearning tools and content.
- Demonstrable skills in developing learning and development, training and facilitation.

Reporting into the Director of Finance & Resources, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the organisation and is the first point of contract for internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and time financial reporting and produce monthly management accounts.
Duties will include the following:
- Preparation of all routine and ad hoc reports drawn from accounting records

- Coding of all self-generated income, ensuring that recognition complies with the relevant accounting standards

This role will develop that connection in the fast moving sector of Nature Finance, Business Development and Nature Based Solutions working with others who are creatively and systematically looking for solutions which will connect Surrey’s wildlife at a landscape level.
We are building an innovative new team focused on county wide recovery and green finance investment within the county of Surrey. This role will also manage the Trust’s internal and external processes around Nature (green) Finance and drive forward investment in nature at a landscape level.
As a senior role reporting into the Director of Business Development and Partnerships; practical experience of green finance including biodiversity net gain is essential; experience will also need to include demonstrable examples of project managing medium/large scale projects, contract management, financial analysis and working in a fast paced environment.
Our challenge is to restore Surrey’s nature and maximise climate adaptation and resilience following Lawton’s approach for a bigger, better, more joined up ecological network. Technical Officer
We are working with an International Conservation charity, who have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Officer whose role will be to support the Conservation Programmes team.
Position: GIS Conservation Technical Officer
Location: Hybrid / Suffolk (flexible working available)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £23,500 per annum

About the Role
The charity is at the forefront of international conservation efforts through their programme of land purchase and land acquisition in collaboration with their international partners, including the development of carbon and other payments for ecosystem services projects. They are seeking a Technical Officer whose role will be to support the Conservation Programmes team, working closely with the Senior Technical Officer and Director of Conservation for the development and monitoring of conservation projects and communication of the organisation’s conservation impact.
About You
We are looking for applicants who are passionate about wildlife conservation and committed to furthering the mission and ethos of the charity, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- An excellent knowledge of spatial and ecological data analyses, and monitoring and GIS
- Ideally you will have experience in fieldwork and biodiversity conservation
- Be able to translate technical reports and assessments to a wide range of audiences
- The ability to work independently as well as in close collaboration with colleagues
- Good communication skills
