The South East Gambling Harms Partnership is a consortium of regional Citizens Advice offices that include: Wokingham, Reading, West Berkshire and East Berkshire offices in Berkshire and Hart, Rushmore, Basingstoke and Tadley in North Hampshire. This is a high-profile initiative funded by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) to tackle gambling harms through the collaboration of the South East Gambling Harms Partnership.
The Role
Are you a data specialist who wants your work to tell a story?
Data is the heartbeat of this project. You won’t just be managing spreadsheets; you will be the person who proves our impact to Government Departments. You will track our screening targets and monitor the link between gambling and debt. You will provide the evidence needed to protect vulnerable groups and work as a member of a team to raise awareness of gambling harms across Berkshire and North Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Reporting: Create impactful reports for the project Steering Committee, Lived experience Advisory panel and Trustee Board, as well as local public health teams.
System Design: Develop and maintain user-friendly data tools to help frontline advisors record impact as "business as usual."
Impact Analysis: Identify regional trends to help our team adapt and target their outreach initiatives. As well as working with public health nationally and locally to provide quality data to inform
Compliance: Lead on GDPR and data ethics for sensitive client information.
About You
You are someone who finds the "human story" behind the numbers. You have:
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, complex formulas, and data cleansing).
The ability to visualise data for non-technical audiences.
A commitment to data integrity and the ethical handling of sensitive information.

Myaware is a charity dedicated to ensuring that all people living with or alongside myasthenia can live well, now and in the future. Due to demands on the service we are looking to expand our crucial support team which has provided an exciting opportunity to join the team.
You will be working with our dedicated support team to advise and support our members, over the phone, via email, in online sessions and at conferences and support groups in the community. Providing a listening ear and advice on living with myasthenia is essential as they navigate their diagnosis journey and learn how to live well with the condition.
Delivering support and advice for our members also involves using our CRM database and proactively maintaining and increasing our membership. It requires ongoing essential awareness raising of our work through annual initiatives and campaigns and through growing relationships with Healthcare Professionals and other neurological organisations.
Who are we?
Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia.
We are working hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as it is a little-known condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the condition.
We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors.
Members of myaware have full access to a wide range of support services and events including our specialist welfare rights advisor.
Myaware supports people with myasthenia and their families. We campaign for better medical services for people with myasthenia and work to inform medical professionals.
The myasthenias are a group of neuromuscular conditions. They are rare but also manageable and can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender or nationality. Myasthenia gravis, ocular myasthenia and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome are autoimmune conditions whereas congenital myasthenic syndrome is caused by an inherited genetic fault. It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.

At the heart of Camden’s mission to end rough sleeping, the Gray's Inn Road project offers short-stay accommodation for 16 individuals experiencing some of the most challenging periods in their lives. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, this service plays a pivotal role in ensuring rough sleeping in Camden is not only rare but brief and not repeated. Residents typically stay between three to six months, during which time the focus is on creating pathways into safe, sustainable housing and renewed independence.
You’ll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering trauma-informed, psychologically informed support. You’ll work closely with clients facing overlapping challenges including homelessness, poor physical and mental health, substance use, trauma and histories with the criminal justice system. With your own caseload, you’ll conduct in-depth assessments, build tailored support plans and facilitate interventions that reflect the needs, strengths and aspirations of each person. Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager, this individual will mainly work collaboratively with colleagues across Brand and Strategic Marketing on our big impact campaigns, as well as supporting the corporate communications team when capacity requires – this could be working with the CEO office, Fundraising or filling a need from the wider team.
The role holder will help to coordinate campaign workflows, gather accurate information, and support the delivery of integrated communications activity. The Strategic Communications Officer will contribute to the smooth running of campaigns by maintaining organised processes, supporting planning and reporting, and helping to produce content that strengthens understanding of dementia and the urgent need for research. The postholder will also help to create engaging, accessible content for cross‑channel campaigns and ensure that messaging is consistent, evidence‑based and aligned with organisational priorities.
Projects to own and drive forward include World Alzheimer’s Month, the Christmas campaign, and other key organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Production
· Support the research and production of campaigns and projects, including the World Alzheimer’s Month, Christmas campaigns and other Brand activity.
· Support on development of communication plans and materials for supporter‑facing activities and campaigns.
· Write, edit and proof content for campaigns and projects ensuring accuracy and narrative alignment.
· Prepare, write, pitch and issue media stories to generate coverage for our initiatives and campaigns.
Research & Information Support
· Monitor external trends and sector‑relevant topics to inform content and news planning.
Cross‑Team Support & Collaboration
· Work collaboratively with the Brand team, as well as the wider communications teams on shared projects.
· Support internal communications and the social media team for priority campaigns and strategic projects.
· Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand content needs.
· Work closely with teams to ensure their content embodies Alzheimer’s Research UK tone of voice.
Administration, Planning & Coordination
· Provide project coordination support for major cross‑channel campaigns and key organisation publications.
· Maintain clear documentation ensuring campaign materials and project assets are well organised.
· Contribute to content calendars for news and campaigns.
· Manage external freelance support in peak periods.
Quality, Accuracy & Compliance
· Support continuous improvement by sharing campaign insights and recommending enhancements, including introducing repeatable process and templates.
· Champion equity, diversity and inclusion in all communications.
· Ensure clear, accurate and consistent messaging across all outputs.

Ways of working:
As part of our Agile ways of working, you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

We’re looking for a Major Gifts Development Manager to build a pipeline of new and existing donors across the North of England and Midlands. This ambitious new position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Dogs Trust’s work in the region.
What does this role do?

This is a hybrid role that will combine working from home and visiting local rehoming centres for meetings with donors across the region. The role will be contractually based at one of the following rehoming centres: Darlington, Leeds, Manchester, Merseyside, Shrewsbury, Kenilworth, Loughborough or Snetterton.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be a natural connector who thrives on meeting new people and building trust. You’ll have experience of fundraising and working with High Net Worth Individuals and making five-figure asks and above, or supporting senior colleagues with making those asks. You’ll need excellent communication skills, with the ability to write compelling proposals and build strong 1-1 relationships. While you’d ideally have experience in Major Gifts, we’d welcome applications from candidates who have fundraising or relationship management experience in other disciplines and are keen to develop their skills in this area.
