About us and the role
The Humane Research Trust is proud to be the UK's largest charitable funder of animal replacement in medical research.
We award grants to UK-based scientists to develop and adopt human-based organ-on-chip models, organoids, and in silico methods to deepen our understanding of human diseases and accelerate progress towards effective treatments.
For the last 60 years we have been funded by donations and legacies from members of the public. As a small charity with big ambitions, we want to move up a gear and diversify our income opportunities.
The Strategic Partnerships Manager (Science) is an exciting new role created to achieve this change. The postholder will help secure significant new income for THRT from trusts and foundations, funders and corporate partners while also convening key partners to advance reproducibility, validation, standardisation and adoption across the animal-free research field.
