Harris Hill is urgently seeking an experienced Direct Marketer, to join a medical charity in Cambridgeshire for 3-6 months on a full time basis. 

This role will require you to be in the office 3 days per week, with one from home. On of these days has to be a Wednesday, with office hours being 9-5.

To be considered, you will have proven experience within individual giving, direct marketing, and individual giving campaigns with end-to-end responsibility. You will have designed and implemented supporter or donor journeys with retention and engagement, and have a strong understanding of direct marketing principles across offline and digital channels.

In addition, you have used fundraising CRM or databases to support delivery, reporting and analysis, as well as managing third party suppliers and internal teams. You will be adept at managing budgets and monitoring campaigns with ROI in mind.

Role Overview

Mothers’ Union is seeking a talented and organised Communications & Publications Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality written communications across the charity. This role will play a key part in shaping and sharing our voice through articles, press releases, media engagement, and the management of our two publications.

Working closely with the Acting Director of Communications & Marketing, the postholder will help ensure that Mothers’ Union’s mission, faith, impact, and advocacy work are clearly, professionally, and consistently communicated to members, supporters, clergy, partners, and the wider public.

Key Responsibilities

Writing & Editorial

·Researching, writing, and editing articles, features, and news stories for internal and external publications.

·Drafting press releases, media statements, briefings, and opinion pieces.

·Supporting the production and editorial coordination of Mothers’ Union newsletters, magazines, and other publications (print and digital).

·Proofreading and ensuring consistency of tone, style, and brand voice across all communications.

·Assisting with the development of case studies and impact stories.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

Role overview 

This newly created senior role strengthens The Young Foundation’s strategic business development function and supports income growth across the full range of our programmes and partnerships. The post will provide expertise in fundraising and procurement processes including approaches to philanthropic funders and investor circles as well as formal tendering, dealing with a range of funding modalities from research grants to commercial consultancy and trusts and foundations.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £55,000- £60,000 full time equivalent. This role sits within Band C on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework.

Nature of contract: Full time or 0.8 FTE. Permanent. This is a hybrid role working from home and our office in Oxford. There is a requirement to attend the office once a week and for other meetings/work as required.

Job Sumnmary for Director of Charitable Impact

As the Executive Director of Charitable Impact at Bowel Cancer UK, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our mission: ensuring that everyone with bowel cancer is diagnosed at the earliest stages, receives the best possible care and that more people survive the disease and thrive beyond their diagnosis.

You will lead the charity’s research programmes, policy and influencing, patient services, healthcare professional education, and health information functions. You will ensure these programmes deliver measurable impact on early diagnosis, equity of access, and better outcomes for people with bowel cancer, particularly focusing on reducing health inequalities and addressing the growing incidence of bowel cancer in people under 50.

Working closely with the Strategy & Insight unit, you will embed robust evaluation and evidence into all our work and lead the development of new patient-facing services and digital innovations – including the use of AI – to expand our reach and improve outcomes.

Rainbow Migration is the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system and has been campaigning for their rights since 1993. We are recruiting a Legal Assistant to support the delivery of Rainbow Migration’s legal service by providing additional administrative capacity. This will include:

· Answering queries from people seeking legal advice

· Prioritising queries for responses from other staff

· Providing accurate information to service users and signpost to other organisations if necessary

· Assisting with organising group advice sessions

· Assist with referrals to legal representatives

· Writing minutes for meetings

· Providing admin and logistical support to the legal service team

Role overview

Contract type: 3-Year Fixed-term 1 July 2026 until 30 June 2029

Hours: Full-time or part-time (35 hours per week Monday to Friday for full-time, minimum 28 hours for part-time). Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £27,011 FTE (pro rata), with potential step increases each year up to £30,400, plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, we try to give a separate inflationary increase every April

Location: Rainbow Migration’s step-free offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. At the time of creating this role, staff mostly work from home. There might also be occasional travel outside London with plenty of notice. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Annual leave: Initially 25 days per year. After two years of employment, this will increase by one day per year up to a maximum of 28 days (pro rata if working part-time).

Our exciting three year strategy sets out our ambitious goals to drive impact at scale for victim-survivors. We are now looking for an exceptional candidate to lead some of our financial services relationships and consultancy work and support SEA in its mission to raise awareness of economic abuse and transform responses to it within the financial services sector.

Working closely with colleagues across SEA, you will foster and maintain relationships across the financial services sector, seeking opportunities to generate income for the charity and supporting our Head of Financial Services to deliver lasting change and impact.

At SEA we put the lived experience of victim-survivors at the heart of all that we do, including our work with financial services firms. You will be a subject matter expert on customer vulnerability and financial services firms’ regulatory requirements, as well as having a thorough understanding of industry rules and good practice. You will combine this with experience of working with vulnerable customers, including victim-survivors and bring expertise on economic abuse to ensure this is embedded within financial services’ firms’ responses.

‘Generous Giving’ is a small but vibrant and established team that is part of the wider diocesan Mission and Ministry Team, under the leadership of the Director of Mission and Ministry. The focus of Generous Giving is to work with parish leadership
teams (both lay and ordained) across the diocese to develop and promote a clear vision for Christian giving by building on and encouraging a culture of generosity and enabling giving through a variety of mechanisms. The Generous Giving Adviser will also promote, nurture and teach on Biblical generosity using existing discipleship resources.
