In this role you will provide line management and support to community-based staff who support survivors of domestic abuse across Derby City. The service provides a welcoming, calm, and inclusive space where people can access support without an appointment. Our team help with creating a recovery plans, one-to-one support by telephone or in person. The service is open 365 days a year, Monday to Friday from 5:30pm to 10:00pm, and on weekends and bank holidays from 3:00pm to 10:00pm.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
The role focuses on providing high-quality support to individuals in mental health crisis. You will assist clients during their stay, helping to reduce immediate distress and develop plans to prevent future crises. This includes working collaboratively with statutory and voluntary mental health services to ensure effective, multi-agency support. All interventions should reflect the organisation's values and commitment to recovery, co-production, and person-centred care, while following established policies and procedures.
What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. Flexibility is essential, as the role requires working across a shift pattern to include weekends.

In this role, you will manage a caseload of service users with complex health and support needs, helping them maintain their wellbeing, independence, and achieve personal goals. You will provide day-to-day care and support in line with individual care plans, assist with educational, leisure, and health-related activities, and contribute to the planning and review of support plans. Responsibilities include supporting medication administration, monitoring health, safety, and wellbeing, reporting concerns promptly, carrying out domestic tasks where required, liaising with partner agencies and carers, and supporting high-quality housing management services in compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

You will have experience of:
Planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, supporting children’s individual development, curiosity, and wellbeing.
Working collaboratively as part of an early years professional team to maintain and continuously improve the quality of practice, provision, and outcomes for children.
Operating within a Key Person system, building secure, nurturing relationships with a designated group of children and supporting their individual needs, development, and family relationships.
Main duties include:
