About the role and you

We are looking for a data professional to support and manage significant changes in the way our charity uses, processes and manages data. Our teams pride themselves on evidence-informed practice, using research and data to enhance their work at every stage. There are elements of our charity’s work which are unique to our field, making our data highly valuable in contributing to the future of preventing child sexual abuse. We collect data all the time: on the individual progress of our clients, the reach of our campaigns and the demand for our support. As part of our new Tech and Data Strategy, we are taking the next stage in our use of data analysis and data science, ensuring that we use our data more effectively and efficiently to support our teams in preventing child sexual abuse.

We are looking for a Data Scientist/Analyst to help us make this change. You will be based in the LFF Research Team, reporting to our Director of Research and Impact.

This role will facilitate better use, processing and management of data across the organisation. It will focus on four areas:

• Data systems and structures
• Data analysis
• Data visualisation
• Data security and compliance

The postholder will work alongside experienced researchers to develop a new portfolio of priority projects to enhance our work. With no fixed task list or assigned service, this role offers the freedom to explore and innovate, identifying where data, data science, and data systems can drive real change.

This role will be remote or hybrid - we have offices in Bromsgrove, Epsom and Edinburgh.

As our Communications & PR Officer, you'll work closely with the Communications & PR Manager and lots of other colleagues across the organisation.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for a creative, motivated communications professional with experience writing for different audiences and working with the media.

You'll be organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

As part of the Communications & Digital team, you'll help increase awareness among new and existing audiences, support fundraising, and ensure teams across the organisation have the communications materials they need.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

Media engagement  

• Work with the PR & Communications Manager to maximise media opportunities across national and regional, print, digital, and broadcast media

• Draft press releases, features, opinion pieces, and letters to editors

• Prepare media pitches, briefings, quotes, and statements

• Proactively pitch stories and spokespeople for campaigns and response work

• Secure media interviews and manage logistics

• Monitor and respond to media requests via the PR inbox

• Track media coverage and analyse trends for KPI reporting

• Support organisation-wide media training

• Build and maintain regional and national media contacts

• Stay across the news agenda and our response work to identify opportunities

Communications

• Write clear, compelling organisational messaging and FAQs to support fundraising, especially during major disasters, appeals, and campaigns

• Draft key reports, including monthly response summaries, reach and impact reports, updates for our Royal patron, and the annual report

• Research and collaborate with colleagues to develop messaging

• Help develop and deliver communications campaigns

• Keep organisational statistics and messaging up to date

• Support with coordinating communications across channels to maximise storytelling

• Contribute creative ideas and support planning for communications activities

• Evaluate communications performance

• Identify messaging gaps and potential stories

Other duties

• Undertake any other duties commensurate with the post

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. For more than 40 years, we have been delivering essential health and medical care to those most affected by conflict, displacement and occupation in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Lebanon.

About the role

MAP is looking for a professional institutional funding manager with vast experience in securing bilateral and multilateral grant and a track record of achieving income targets. As the Head of Institutional Funding, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and execution of MAP's institutional funding strategy. Chefs in Schools is a young, ambitious charity that’s rapidly growing. We believe every child has the right to eat and learn about good food in school. 

We focus our efforts in areas of high socio-economic deprivation, where more than a third of children are entitled to free school meals, and diet-related disease is driving further inequality.

We support and train school kitchen teams to serve the best, freshest and tastiest food possible, alongside meaningful food education. We share learning and resources, aiming to inspire and enable others to follow our lead.

About you and the role

This role will initially support the set up and roll out of a national school food resource hub, supporting the creation of resources for the platform, working closely with internal teams and external partners. With the hub still in development, you will be joining at a crucial point to help shape what goes live, how it looks and sounds, and how useful it is for the people we most want to reach.

Our aim is that schools and the wider school food community can quickly find practical, trusted resources that help them improve food in schools. That might be a headteacher looking for a simple starting point, a school chef wanting a clear guide to implement new practices, or a teacher looking to introduce food education. 

Your role will focus on creating and maintaining high quality resources for the hub. You will turn ideas, evidence, and stories into clear content in different formats, including short one to two pagers, multi-page guides, videos, photographs and interactive resources. You will adapt your writing and framing to different audiences, keeping content aligned with brand guidelines.

This role sits within our comms team but works closely with our school transformation and membership teams. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and develop content, including supporting interviews and capturing case studies. You will also help manage the day to day flow of content into the hub, keeping resources organised, up to date and easy to navigate, while bringing a curious, practical mindset that helps us keep improving what we publish. You’ll identify any resources that could be a wider engagement tool to draw more people to the hub.

Key responsibilities: 

• Work with internal teams and external partners to develop and produce resources for the resource hub, aligned with project priorities and timelines.

• Turn existing programme materials, case studies and evidence into clear, attractive resources for different audiences (e.g. school leaders, kitchen teams, young people, parents, funders, policymakers).

• Write and edit copy for 1–2 pagers, multi page guides, slide decks, toolkits and the resource hub’s webpages.

• Work with colleagues to storyboard, script and produce short films for the resource hub. Where the resources could appeal to a wider audience, you will link up with the comms team to promote the hub.

• Create and maintain website content for the resource hub, writing clear copy for landing pages, navigation and resource descriptions, and working with the CMS to keep content up to date and well-organised

• Create short videos and films on your phone and capture photography in schools and at events.

• Work with the programme teams to build simple infographics, charts or visuals that explain impact and evidence.

• Ensure all content follows our brand guidelines, tone of voice and accessibility standards.

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including teachers, chefs, young people and partner organisations, to gather information, quotes and approvals.

• Support interviews with pupils, school staff, chefs and partners, including preparing questions, note taking and transcribing.

• Support the management of content on the resource hub content management system, including tagging, links and basic SEO.

• Help maintain a content calendar for the resource hub and keep track of versions, approvals and review dates.

• Support testing of resources with users (e.g. short surveys, feedback sessions with teachers or pupils) and feed learning into future content.

• Contribute to wider communications activity, including newsletters, social media and events, as needed. 

• Ensure all resources comply with our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Prior to joining ClientEarth Hannah has held a number of leading roles at prominent international environmental organisations, including Head of External Affairs at the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre and Head of Trusts and Foundations at Fauna & Flora.

Main Duties

• Develop and implement the global philanthropy strategy as part of the overall fundraising strategy, liaising with senior leadership, programme leads, communications and finance to ensure ClientEarth can maximise the potential income from major donors.
• Develop, implement and achieve relevant KPIs and financial targets for the philanthropy team and lead on the production of appropriate reports for senior management and the board of trustees.
• Using the strategy (organisational and fundraising) the Head of Philanthropy will personally manage and support senior staff on holding income-yielding high-level relationships.
• Manage relationships and drive strategy relating to our senior stakeholders such as the Development Board, Chair of the Board and act as a key facilitator and steward of relationships between foundation staff and key programme contacts.

Legacies form a key source of income for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), raising approximately £100m a year for our life‑saving research.

​

As a Legacy Manager, you will manage, protect, and optimise this income. You'll work alongside three other Legacy Managers, supporting the Head of Legacy Management to build on the team’s successes and to optimise the BHF’s income from gifts in Wills.

Joining a thriving team, you’ll undertake a variety of work, including managing casework in accordance with the law, best practice, and BHF’s processes and procedures, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical guidance to colleagues and potential legacy givers, and line managing two Assistant Legacy Officers and our Legacy Administrator. 

 This role may also require deputising for the Head of Legacy Management. 

About you

You'll either have extensive experience in legacy management within the charities legacy sector; or be a Qualified Private Client Solicitor; or be a Qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners; or be a Qualified Chartered Legal Executive with experience of Wills and Probate.

 Working arrangements
