We are looking for a creative, organised and experienced media and communications professional to join our External Affairs team within the Policy and External Affairs Directorate.
The Senior Media & Communications Manager will manage our press office and lead our media engagement activity to support our strategic impact and communications objectives, aligned to our business plan and wider corporate strategy.
You will use your skills and experience to help engage a range of media outlets on our expertise, insights and evidence on youth employment, placing our spokespeople appropriately for a variety of opportunities.
You will also work closely with wider External Affairs colleagues and teams across the organisation to build our corporate impact narrative.
At a time when youth employment is a high priority for Government and the news agenda, the post holder must also be able to demonstrate policy and political literacy and high comfort levels when working with policy, research and public affairs colleagues.
This role is perfect for a proactive and agile professional with strong writing skills, who is excellent at building relationships internally and externally and able to engage external stakeholders and partners.

The Crisis & Resilience Fund Team Leader will lead the delivery of the Exeter Crisis & Resilience Service, providing operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred support to residents experiencing financial hardship, crisis and multiple disadvantage. The Communications and Research Officer is a new post designed to help bridge the gap between the research and campaigning work of Drone Wars UK and our supporters and the general public. The role is split 50/50 between communications and research. The communications element combines social media activity, website content creation and email communications, helping to ensure our messages are communicated clearly, consistently and creatively across a range of channels. The research element consists of undertaking a number of short-term specific research projects alongside participation in on-going longer-term research work.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating engaging content as well as undertaking in-depth investigations that contribute to positive social change. In addition, the person appointed will take an active role in the forthcoming strategic review shaping the organisation’s work over the next few years.

Alongside your experience in communications, journalism, PR, content creation or digital marketing, you’ll have excellent writing skills, strong interviewing ability and a real instinct for finding and shaping powerful stories. You’ll also be someone who enjoys working independently, spotting opportunities and creating high-quality content that connects emotionally with audiences. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how Rainbows tells its story across the East Midlands raising awareness of our specialist care and inspiring support for babies, children, young people and their families. You’ll lead on sourcing and developing stories from families, supporters, staff and stakeholders, creating publish-ready content across PR, web, email, social media, and fundraising campaigns.
You’ll be joining us at a time when storytelling is becoming increasingly important to our fundraising, digital engagement and public awareness. We’re looking for someone who understands how to create sensitive, audience-focused content, and who can adapt their writing style across multiple channels and audiences.
Working as part of a collaborative Marketing and Communications team, your role will include interviewing families and supporters, writing compelling stories and press releases, supporting campaign content, helping develop digital-first storytelling approaches, and building a strong pipeline of stories, quotes, images and video content for use across the organisation.
You’ll need excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and proactively drive a pipeline of stories across a range of projects and campaigns. We’re particularly interested in candidates who can think creatively by identifying new story angles, developing alternative content routes, and helping us diversify the voices and experiences represented across our communications.
You’ll also work closely with the PR Manager and Income Generation and Marketing Directorate to support regional media activity, fundraising campaigns and digital communications.
This role would suit someone with solid experience in communications, public relations or journalism. Experience within a hospice or healthcare setting is welcome, but not essential. What matters most is your ability to write high-quality, compassionate and impactful content.

Role Overview
The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Foundation and will report directly to the Chair and the Board of Trustees. The CEO will lead on planning and delivering fundraising, events, marketing, grant processes and future team development.
