At Betknowmore UK, we work to prevent and reduce gambling-related harm through support, education, training and community engagement. As our Triage Team Manager, you'll lead the function that determines how quickly and safely people in crisis get the help they need.
We're looking for an experienced people manager to lead our triage team, overseeing referrals from first contact through to onboarding, ensuring every assessment is thorough, every risk is managed, and every service user is guided into the right support without delay.
Working closely with the Referral Leads and colleagues across the organisation, you'll drive continuous improvement of our triage processes, keep our data and CRM systems robust, and build strong relationships with partners so people never fall through the gaps.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the triage function, ensuring referrals are processed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Managing and supporting a team of Referral Leads, providing supervision, guidance and performance oversight
- Overseeing service user onboarding, including assessment, safety management and safeguarding practice
- Monitoring waiting lists and service capacity, taking action to manage demand
- Overseeing our CRM system (Airtable), ensuring data accuracy, accessibility and integrity
- Producing monthly and quarterly reports, using data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Building operational relationships with delivery partners, and representing Betknowmore UK at MDTs, meetings and sector events
- Fostering a collaborative, psychologically safe team environment
What we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from candidates who have:
- Experience working in addiction, mental health or similar support services
- Experience comprehensively assessing risk and needs
- Experience managing or supervising staff and volunteers
- Experience working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders across different sectors and disciplines
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy referral pipeline
- A solid understanding of confidentiality and data protection
Experience with gambling and gambling harm would be advantageous, as would a Level 3 Safeguarding qualification, experience improving service delivery processes, familiarity with CRM/data systems such as Airtable, and experience producing reports to inform decisions.

About the role
This role will lead our agenda around the role of welfare to support the working age population to maintain good health and support people with long term health conditions or disability when they are unable to work or participate. The Commission for Healthier Working Lives identified a number of issues with welfare support which effectively disincentivise people from accessing and staying in work and the purpose of this role is to make the case for change and point to potential solutions.
The post holder will have a strong understanding of the current welfare agenda, and particularly what this means for people with long term health conditions and disability. Working with the Senior Fellow, you will identify the opportunities to shape better policy, providing decision makers with the evidence and clear recommendations. As well as conducting your own analysis, you will help commission policy research projects from internal and external experts and provide oversight for these projects.
Developing your own profile as an expert, you will also lead or support drafting of external outputs, speak at external events and grow and maintain external stakeholder relationships. The role provides a real opportunity to have a voice to influence the future shape of health and welfare policies and practice.

This is a Senior Operational Management role within Family Action.

Listening Lounge Services in Bolton and Wigan operate between the hours of 3pm and 10pm 7 days a week. Typically, this will include at least 2 weekend days per month from 2pm to 10pm on site – one in Bolton and one in Wigan, and two evenings per month during the week from 2pm to 10pm. The person appointed will be employed by the Cathedral Chapter and the Line Manager for this post will be the Canon Chancellor.
The Education Officer will work with the Canon Chancellor and the expert volunteers who support this department to develop, grow and deliver the schools and formal learning offers at the cathedral. In addition, they will work with others to develop the interpretation and activities for families and children, helping them to discover the cathedral and its work.
The post of Education Officer is located within Ripon Cathedral, which is a place of Christian worship and mission within the Church of England. This is a creative and mission-led role, sitting at the heart of the cathedral’s commitment to education, outreach and discipleship. The role requires a solid understanding of, and sympathy for the Christian faith.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Education Programme Development
- To develop and grow the education programme in support of the cathedral’s strategic objectives.
- To grow income from school visits and projects.
- To contribute actively to maintaining a healthy safeguarding culture in the cathedral.
Leadership and Management of Volunteers
Lead, recruit, manage and develop the expert team of volunteers, creating a working environment which fosters commitment, enthusiasm and confidence with a positive safeguarding culture at its heart.
- Lead by example and promote team-working across the department and with the wider cathedral staff team.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff and volunteers to drive forward the delivery of the vision for the Cathedral. .
Formal Learning Offer
- Develop the formal learning offer at the cathedral to cover all ages and across the whole curriculum
- Create educational resources and activities aligned to the National Curriculum
- Work with partner organisations in the area to develop multi-site learning and visits
- Promote the offer to schools across the area, building up strong relationships with teachers and local networks, and act as primary contact for schools and groups.

- Work positively and collaboratively with Chapter committees and working groups to develop the learning offer
Informal Learning Offer
- Liaise and work with the Cathedral’s Children and Families Officer to devise and deliver seasonal children and family activities during school holidays

- Quantitative data analysis for individual programmes and our portfolio of mentoring programmes as a whole, clearly presenting our impact against our outcomes
- Qualitative data analysis of mentoring messages, written feedback and focus groups/1:1 interviews
- Producing high quality evaluation reports for individual programmes, including recommendations for future iterations
- Producing organisational impact reports and blogs/posts, to present our impact to external audiences
- Creating and maintaining PowerBI dashboards to present live impact data
- Proofing and testing baseline and exit surveys to ensure accuracy of questions and survey logic across our portfolio
- Overseeing our data collection tools and upskilling the team to use them effectively/accurately
- Overseeing our external communications to ensure regular sharing of case studies and impact stories through our comms and marketing (social media, newsletters etc.)

Job Description
The Chartered College of Teaching is currently working on a number of exciting projects, and is recruiting a Teacher Development Specialist to support this work. This is a fixed term position which will focus on supporting the delivery of a key strand of our work relating to teacher and leadership development in the context of educational technology (EdTech) implementation. By joining our team as a Teacher Development Specialist, you’ll be helping us to support teachers, champion great teaching and raise the status of the profession.
The role will run until the end of October 2026 in the first instance.

The Opportunity
The Teacher Development Specialist will play a key role in supporting our work around teacher and leadership development, and delivering one of our key projects focusing on understanding effective practice in relation to building expertise through collaboration. Drawing on their deep understanding of research, evidence and practice around teacher development, the Teacher Development Specialist will look to identify and build on existing practices and will seek to understand how as a profession we might encourage innovation and knowledge-sharing across the education sector. They will work with internal colleagues and wider stakeholders to understand how these practices might best apply to the field of Education Technology (EdTech).
This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone who is interested in using research and evidence to build collective understanding of effective practices across the sector.
Generating insights
You will work as part of an internal project team, leading on a key deliverable relating to strengthening expertise through collaboration, specifically within the context of Educational Technology.

Draw from literature, published research and theory around teacher development and school implementation to generate actionable insights about effective practice.

Gather insights from a range of key stakeholders, including teachers, school leaders, policy makers and sector experts to understand and analyse existing practices, identify effective approaches and identify potential barriers or levers which might influence effectiveness of identified approaches.

School Engagement Officer - Bristol and Surrounding Area
Charity People is delighted to be partnering again with Anne Frank Trust UK to recruit for their next School Engagement Officer.
Anne Frank Trust UK is an anti‑prejudice education charity founded in 1991 and the UK partner of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. Using Anne Frank's life story and the historical context of the Holocaust, the Trust empowers young people aged 9-15 to recognise and challenge ALL forms of prejudice and discrimination.
Their work reaches young people through in‑school workshops, online learning events, and an Ambassadors Programme supporting young people with lived experience of prejudice.
This role is a front‑line education post, delivering engaging workshops in schools across Bristol and the surrounding area, mentoring young people as peer educators and ambassadors, and playing a key role in establishing and growing the Trust's presence in a new region.
As this is a newly established regional post, there is a strong emphasis on developing new relationships, proactively engaging schools and partners, and building a sustainable network of education delivery across the South West.
Education Delivery Specialists play a vital role in helping young people develop confidence, empathy and the skills to challenge prejudice in their communities.
Contract and benefits

Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality educational workshops for young people aged 9-15 in schools
